What's a brokenhearted romance novelist to do when an interview accidentally turns her into the villain? I'll tell you one thing-the plan definitely wasn't to turn to the man who taught me that happily ever afters exist only on the page. But when Dante Thompson shows up on my front porch with his gorgeous face, golden retriever energy, and an outrageous offer, am I actually considering saying yes? It's been six years. I'm older. I should be wiser. My charming ex, a Hollywood fixer, claims he's got the perfect answer to both our predicaments: A splashy fake relationship that will give everyone something else to talk about. He's not wrong. Everyone loves a good love story...even if it's just for show. But I don't trust myself to even pretend to let him in again. Especially considering how things ended the first time around. Not to mention the secrets I'm still keeping from him. They're even darker than they were six years ago.

If I were to ask you, "What is the Kingdom of God?" What would your answer be? If I had to guess, I would imagine it would revolve around His heavenly domain that exists outside of the natural realm. To a degree, this is not wrong. However, to another degree, it falls short of the fulfillment of His Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not some far-off, distant realm that exists beyond our reach. Jesus made it plain by revealing that His Kingdom is within us (see Luke 17:21). The Kingdom of God is right here, right now, but what do we do with that information? Everyone who would seek to enter His Kingdom must understand how they do so. But the Kingdom manifestation in our lives far extends merely entering therein, rather, He has called us to operate in His Kingdom and for His Kingdom. The aim of what is written here is twofold: one, to act as a roadmap to those who are new to the journey, to lay out the path to Kingdom progression; two, to aid those already on the journey, to help them grow in understanding regarding the various aspects of His Kingdom. Therefore, this work was written to be read in two ways: one, progressively from beginning to end, each chapter building upon the previous one; two, as a reference, focusing on an individual chapter as is needed for that moment.

The book of Revelation has long been a book many people talk about, but few understand how it relates to their lives. In this book, Pastor Elton Chesser backs his work with scriptural references, and he shares years of personal research to help the reader understand prophecy. This study explains multiple themes of Scripture: the genesis of sin, the way of salvation, the birth of the church, what Jesus taught, the catching away of the saints, truth and deception, Daniel's vision, the final judgment, and more. Prophecy taught incorrectly brings "fear," but prophecy taught correctly brings "hope!" "Taking the Kingdom," with its easy-to-read resources, brings hope. It is designed for anyone who wants to understand the Bible and the events related to the end-time.

What could possibly go wrong fake dating the gorgeous single dad in a small town? The answer, you fall for him. It started out perfect. Grady Whitlock needed a plus one for his business meetings, and I needed a date for a wedding. We had a plan. It was a good one. Until it wasn't. I was not supposed to have feelings for him. I was not going to let my heart race when his soulful blue eyes stared into mine. No way should I have noticed his smile or the dimple on his right cheek or his strong arms when he held me close. I especially wasn't going to melt when I saw him play with my daughter. Most of all I was not going to sleep with him. Nope. None of that was supposed to happen, but it does. Now I find myself dreaming of him every night. Wishing we were really a couple because the way he kisses me doesn't feel as if it's pretend. But we've both watched our dreams shatter, and I can't handle another broken heart.

"Book your visit to the Beach Plum Cove Inn today.....meet widow Lisa Hodges and her four adult children, friends, and visitors to the newly opened waterfront bed and breakfast. In the first book, The Nantucket Inn, Lisa learned that her deceased husband had a hidden gambling addiction and had blown through their retirement savings. Since she'd been raising four children and hadn't worked in years, she had no employable skills. Her only option if she wanted to stay on the island near her loved ones, was to rent out her second floor rooms. And she's loving it so far. Lisa's first guest, restaurant owner Rhett Byrne quickly became a close friend and then something more. In her early fifties, it sounds strange to her to call him her boyfriend, but that's what he is. Her daughter Kristen, finally ended things with Sean, the separated man that no one in the family was excited about. It wasn't until she was beginning to move on, that he filed for divorce, and then begged her for another chance. So she gave him one, much to everyone's dismay. But then the cottage next door is sold, and she discovers who her new neighbor is. Chase, the only boy in the family, has never been serious about anyone before. But he's suddenly withdrawn and has been secretive about who he's seeing, which only makes everyone that much more curious. When they learn who it is, the concern grows as no one wants to see Chase hurt, again. Lisa's best friend, Paige, has a new neighbor too and it's one she is most decidedly not enthused about. Violet was one of the women who stood up at town meeting and protested against Lisa's inn being approved by the selectman. Because the house is right next door, Paige can't help but notice the steady stream of traffic. Violet seems to be very popular with a lot of people. The inn is doing well and bookings are up, but then one Friday night, a guest that prepaid for the weekend never shows up. And quite a few people, including the police, come asking questions."--Back cover.

The murder of John Lennon shook the world in 1980, shockingly resonating to this day as a musical and a human tragedy, and it was the very humanness of the victim that Marina Biti sought to present in this dramatic text. She highlighted the emotional side of John: his fears, hopes, strivings and aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses, and sometimes feelings of guilt. The author's overall approach can be therefore described as empathetic, i.e., as seeking to present a vision of Lennon, the man, rather than - as one might typically expect - to focus exclusively on his role as a musical icon. The music that was Lennon's life is understood as a part of the very core of his humanness, which is why it is weaved into every step that Lennon-the-character makes. His mummy's dead, his mates come together; he is drawn into mind games; he travels the long and winding road, he imagines a world of idyllic justice that he wishes to share with everyone, etc. Allusions to the songs that made part of John Lennon's existence are, in fact, omnipresent in the manuscript. From the Foreword by Lea Golub
