About the Author: This is Darrel Knobloch's second book, which was written during the 2020 pandemic mainly to keep his mind engaged and to tell a story about the culture he lived in while he studied at Southern Illinois University in the early 1960s. Mr. Knobloch lives in Euless, Texas.

Those verses were passed from one outfit to another up and down the Goodnight-Loving, Great Northern, and Chisholm Trails. They're about men who rode rank horses to drive wild cattle to places they'd never been. The poems speak of integrity, fair play, hard work and what it means to be a friend or neighbor.The award-winning authors have corralled their verses here in the hope that the tales will give you a look into the lives and minds of the American cowboy. After the devastating 4th of July attack on Livingston Plaza in Houston, TX, OMICRON's assignment is to find the Islamic terrorist, Ibrahim Haddad, and his lover, Inga Doudin, who were responsible for the assault.
