In John 15:9, 10, Jesus is laying the foundation for His followers to bring into their experience. Jesus is making it easy for us to know how this relationship is to be maintained. These verses read, "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father''s commandments, and abide in His love." His commandments to us is the law or character that makes up His kingdom that Jesus was making available to us, as He paid the ultimate price for our redemption. Jesus is making the statement, "Continue in my love," and He is showing us how this will be accomplished. "If ye keep my commandment, ye shall abide in my love." These verses are telling us that Jesus did not have any intentions of setting aside the Ten Commandments that''s been so readily done away with in the churches of our upbringing. Because we have experienced so many years in this nation separated from His law of love, we are living in a nation having the government promoting moral law. This all seems harmless until government law goes contrary to God''s law, as this nation becomes more spiritual but not religious. For a better understanding in all this, continue reading Spiritualism . . . God''s Great Controversy.

Many individuals struggle with sexual identity issues and find themselves using drugs and/or alcohol to self-medicate, which may lead them down a path to addiction. Take a journey along with the author on her road to recovery, while battling to come to terms with her sexual identity using poetry and journaling. Not feeling accepted by society, the author battles with depression and alcohol addiction. Through times of deep darkness, stuck in isolation and thoughts of suicide, the author uses poetry to deal with the shame, guilt, and anger-all the while struggling to conquer alcoholism and finding the courage and willingness to face reality and find true self, to begin Breaking Down the Wall.Being able to laugh, cry, and sometimes shout at the top of your lungs, whatever it may take to get through the dark times, finding a path to the light and out of a life of darkness. Read about Cupid going into a bar, or finding yourself sitting in court waiting to be judged, yet judging others, or talking with your addiction as if it is was an actual being. Fighting the demons inside, wearing many faces, hiding true self, afraid of what you may find. Writing poems in a blackout, which personality wrote the poem? What did that personality want to communicate? The author shows how to entertain yourself with the poetry that you do not remember writing, becoming a detective seeking clues of what you did in a blackout the night before, and being amazed with yourself that you survived a night of drunkenness-trying over and over to stay sober, wanting so much to become a whole person without experiencing the ups and downs, struggling with an addiction, hurting friends and family, burning bridges. In the end, the victor is you, not the demons that fought so hard to keep you their prisoner. Recovery is possible.

Lost? Confused? Burned out? Defeated? Alone? The Medicine Wheel: Advanced Guide can give you answers you are searching for. If you are reading this book without first reading The Medicine Wheel Trilogy: A Beginner's Guide or Intermediate guide, then the Advance Guide will not make much sense to you. The third book in the trilogy gives you ceremonies to work with to aid in your knowledge of the wheel. There are no shortcuts in learning the medicine wheel. You must learn the medicine wheel one step at a time as in life. First you crawl, then walk, and finally run. In writing the Advance Guide, I encourage you to explore your mind, body, and spirit and appreciate how the Medicine wheel can work for you. Mister Sir Anthony "Broken Eagle Claw" said it best, and I quote: "When you get a new tire for your vehicle, they balance and align it. You have a tire by itself, it's perfect, but when you put it on a rim, it becomes part of an assembly, and now the parts must be balanced together." Same can be said for the medicine wheel. Now let's begin. Aquene peace.

They are the Forgotten Figures! They came from Africa, the Caribbean, the Americas, and the United Kingdom and showed America how to play soccer. They exhibited highly technical skills of the game, taught the youths in communities across the USA and Canada, and were their role models. They crusaded the game''s uniqueness and its beauty. They were the black pioneers of the (original) North American Soccer League (1968-''84). Among them were the first MVPs of the league and the very first NASL Rookie of the Year; they were among the leading scorers and led their teams to NASL titles. In the process, they played a significant role in making the NASL a world-respected league, which led to the 1994 World Cup in the USA and now the successful MLS. Their efforts made soccer an American sport, and among them were Alberto, Archibald, Auguste, Best, Cannon, Charles, Coker, Cole, Cubillas, Cummings, David, De Leon, Eusebio, Evans, Fowles, Gamaldo, Grell, Horne, Horton, Ingram, Kapengwe, Knight, Lamptey, Largie, Lewis, Lichaba, Lindsay, Mathieu, Mfum, Mokgojoa, Motaung, Mwila, Ntsoelengoe, Odoi, Pearce, Phillips, Sanon, Scott, Sono, St. Lot, St. Vil, St. Vil, Steadman, Valentine, Welch, Welch, Whalen, and Pele. It all started with them; now they will be forgotten no more. This book is their tribute!

The story of Benjamin Bird is set in Western Oklahoma in the Dust Bowl years of the Great Depression. Benjamin was born in 1934, the third child of a sharecropper. Ben''s heritage encompasses the history of late nineteenth-century frontier America, for his grandfathers were born in the aftermath of the Civil War. His paternal grandfather was the son of a former slave owner, and his maternal grandfather, the youngest son of a Confederate veteran, was from an extended family who, for generations, had subsisted squatting on public land beyond the edge of the farming frontier. Like nomads, when the frontier was closed, they owned no land.Benjamin''s first memory was when, in late 1935, his farm family moved into a two-room frame shack whose plastered walls were pasted over with 1932 newspaper front pages, to seal the cracks. Benjamin was a happy boy who found joyous harmony in the natural world on the hardscrabble farm on which they subsisted, while the 1932 newspaper headlines kept him inquisitive about the world beyond his boundaries. He was secure in the love and support of his parents, his brother, and his sister.Nearby, Ben''s grandparents, uncles and aunts, and sturdy, competitive cousins provided a support system, sharing what they had, a blood-related social security system, a workforce during harvest, a force to turn to for help in crisis. He loved them all and remained loyal to them throughout his formative years, even after he detected among them certain blemishes of character, even after their occasional hurtful words made him seem inferior, even after he began to doubt the infallibility of their fundamentalist religious convictions, even after he developed a secret, forbidden, gripping crush on a handsome, roguish older neighbor boy.In conflict of conscience, will Ben defy his heritage and lose his beloved family''s love and support by rejecting their religious fundamentalism? Will they condemn him and shun him as a heretic? How will Ben cope with confusion about his sexuality without being guilt-ridden, inhibited, closeted, or shunned, filled with self-loathing?* * * * *Watch for the forthcoming sequel, The Adolescent Years of Benjamin Bird.

What drew men to the West? Redemption for past lives and hope to find self-satisfaction in a new land with a new beginning. Men drifted West after being mustered out of the service after the Civil War. Some were from a winning Army. Others were dressed in gray, also looking for a new way of life. Miners seeking fortune extracted from the Western earth. Homesteaders putting their hopes and dreams into the cultivation of a new land, one they could call their own. Men descending from the mountains when the time of the mountain man was over. Mere kids from the East believing the West was a land of adventure. Large sections of lands were staked out by ranchers willing to hold onto each blade of grass with every fiber of their being. The West was conquered by those with vision, sweat, and tenacity, those courageous enough to dare to dream. This is the story of such men. How they came to the rocking star ranch and why they stayed. Men with sand, man with honor, men to ride the high range with. This is their story.

This book is a mixture of fictional and real elements. Although discussions about God''s role in Creation and our lives are fictional, they might encourage out-of-the-box thinking. However, all science, presented in the context of premature death of a young man, is based on published data.A centrally important question in the book is whether religious faith can ever be reconciled with science. The main character, Doug Lowry, argues that this is possible, but only if the faithful and organized religions start thinking about God very differently. He introduces the new concept of dual nature of God having both spiritual and material sides, the latter having the ability to interact with humans via material means. In addition, Doug suggests the existence of a new entity, information, the "mother" of all energy and matter forms. In his view, spiritual God is the totality of information, while material God is a very highly organized information, the two forms of God forming the greatest duality of all. Doug further suggests that material God used units of information to create instructions to form elementary particles, forces, and natural laws right after the big bang. Doug, unlike physicists, thinks that information suffuses space and is still involved in short-lived particle formation. As an example, new particles, popping out of vacuum or an electron and then disappearing almost immediately, borrow energy from information for their existence, and thus the law of energy conservation is not broken. On another level, this book provides examples of how lives can be devastated, or redeemed, when the unknown and unknowable emotions residing in all of us come to the surface. Are these unknowable emotions still part of our consciousness? What triggers them? Doug, like all of us, struggles with these questions, but they remain a mystery for him.

Would God actually summon someone to Heaven far above the earth, the sun, the moon, and all the constellations? Prior to standing on a cloud and viewing all of Heaven's beauty and glory, my answer would have been an emphatic no. However, I found myself standing on a fluffy, impenetrable white cloud, witnessing the beautiful holy city called Heaven, and then I saw Him. His face and garment radiated a supernatural brilliant light that was much brighter than the morning sun coming up over a horizon too magnificent to gaze upon. There is no verbal vernacular to adequately describe the exquisite golden streets, breathtaking jeweled walls, fragrances incomparable to any on earth, and the Heavenly choir singing melodious songs to worship and praise the King of kings and Lord of lords. There are nine classifications of Angels, all having different assignments. Some have four faces, one resembling that of a man and the other three faces are the likenesses of animals. Only the Angels assigned to mankind sent to provide assistance, directions, encouragement, instructions, or to reveal or fulfill the plan of God resemble human beings. There is life after death and a Heavenly home where Yeshua Hamashia, Jesus the Christ, resides and where He has a prepared a residence for all those who love Him.Many personal visitations of Angels and that of Heaven are included in this writing. In fact, it was an Angel who prompted me to pen this book, and it is my expressed hope that your faith will be elevated and that you too will experience the supernatural!

The book has something for everyone who believe that young or old stories must be heard and read. Stories are captivated by human or universal experience, timeless in events and learning. In the history of man, oral storytelling was a means to pour down history. It gave meaning to life and roots to family and community. Where did you come from? I''ve provided tales mixed with spiritual and literary illumination. We have a mix of children and adult stories. I''ve added a few poems and remarks on our environmental problems and our care of earth-which I feel we have a duty to protect as good stewards. We have failed as we have allowed greed to drain people, animals, land, air, and seas. I encourage all to make a stand for earth.Thank you and God bless.Yours,

The book recounts the incredible life stories of the author starting with his life as a persecuted minority in the Indian subcontinent where he hopped across many geographical boundaries and socio-political- religious divides as a destitute refugee in search of his material and spiritual identity before coming to America with just $9.57 in his pocket. The transformation from destitute refugee to serving the National Academy of Science, the highest scientific body in the U.S.A, is in and of itself an extraordinary tale. The book chronicles many of his subsequent awe-inspiring successes in America as a pioneering rocket and space scientist, including serving on various committees of the venerable National Academy of Sciences and as an adventurer with many extraordinary exploits including swimming the English Channel, cosmonaut training and Mig 25 flying in Russia, trekking to the North Pole, climbing to the base camp of Mount Everest, and racing an Indy 500 car at the Fontana Speedway, among others. His life story is the embodiment of the indomitable human spirit that allowed him to rise from a life of despair as a destitute refugee to scale many extraordinary heights in widely divergent fields, proving that the sky is indeed the limit in America, the land of opportunity. The author examines the minority experiences in other troubled spots all around the world in his attempt to understand the social dynamics that play out with disastrous consequences. The book also provides a closer look at the world's contemporary religions, in an attempt to understand the immeasurable suffering mankind has endured as a result of intolerance and acrimony towards differing faiths. The book includes the author's observations and experiences about the cultural and philosophical differences between the Western and Eastern societies and how it leads to contrasting outlooks and day-to-day life in different cultures.1
