Have the grace to live righteously. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)When you answer the calling to step out of the traditional role of church membership to serve beyond the walls of a physical structure, it is because you understand that church is not the only way to serve people directly. As God sends you out to minister to His people, He will equip you with what you need on the journey to live as Christ Jesus and His disciples did. Don't let fear hold you in bondage from answering His call. He has already prepared you.
Tim will take you on a journey that started from his earliest childhood memories from an Appalachian coal town to the time he separated from the US Army. In between that time is a tale of the turbulent sixties, the wild seventies, lost friends who were never seen again, drug and alcohol abuse, and lost love.Everybody has a story to tell, and Tim wants the reader to hear his story. Some parts of this tale will have you laughing, but some of it will give you some moments of reflection and perhaps let you ponder your own life. Why most people struggle and battle literally to carve out a place for themselves.Read about how a young boy is taken out of the mountains and thrown into a totally alien world and how he adapted. How a teenager goes from a good football player and turns into a teenage delinquent in a matter of a few months. Learn about the poor state of the military after Vietnam, plus much more. This is Tim's tale as seen through his eyes, so hang on. It will keep you entertained, and he is sure you will love it.
The young boy and his siblings were ripped from their father's care and placed in a "e;prisonlike"e; campus, a state-run children's home. Soon enough they passed him off to a foster home. In a matter of a few years' time, the young boy had endured every type of abuse that he could imagine. Sexual, physical, and mental anguish engulfed his life. Every day became a strain to endure. Eventually, the boy became mature enough to figure a way out of his situation, and he was successful at escaping his tormentors. However, there were demons lurking in the shadows of the young man's mind, demons that he didn't even realize grew inside his head. Let's take a journey through this screwed-up, young, impressionable individual's life as he endures impossible treatment from people that he was told "e;love"e; him. Let's watch as he matures into a young man. Let's see how he copes with all the problems associated with the abuses that he endured a few years earlier. Finally, let's see if you can figure out how the greatest abuse he never dreamed would happen set the young teenager on the track to eventually being able to tell the world the story that everyone needs to know can and does happen to very young, innocent, and defenseless children.
As I wrote some of the stories for this book, I shared them with my brother, requesting that he fill in my memory blanks and verify some of the details. Recently, I sent an email to him with the latest tale attached and asked, "Do strange things happen to me, or am I just strange?""You are strange, definitely strange," he returned.Read these accounts and decide for yourself if life has handed me a unique set of experiences, if I am indeed strange, or if maybe both are true!*****These narratives will prompt you to remember your childhood, remind you of simpler times, and perhaps--probably--make you chuckle.

Salva tu vidaAfter swimming for many years, I realized that what makes us float are our lungs when we use them as floats; we do it instinctively. I also realized that knowing how to work our lungs, we have a better chance of survival if we ever get trapped in a strong current. For that reason, I began to explain my experiences because many people drown each year in different rivers and lakes, including those who know how to swim; don't be just another statistic. In this book, "Don't scream! Instead, Save Your Life", you will understand why. In addition, it contains a story of love and adventures, and remember:Don't Scream! Instead, Save Your Life
I have used my experiences to produce this work. It contains some fiction as well as nonfiction. I wanted you to feel everything I have felt and want to experience even more. I have included not only thoughts but also promises. Each one carried some of my own heartfelt images but also some of my own blood. I hope you enjoyed the book and look forward to the next in the series as I look forward to bringing it to you. Until next time.

We hear every day about the flashy twenty-five-year-old wunderkinds who have hit it big in the tech world and celebrated CEOs who have flourished in public companies. But we rarely hear about the majority of successful men and women who, at the average age of forty-one, start their own company. The author was forty when he founded Homax Corporation in 1981.He is an eclectic award-winning entrepreneur who would like to share what he learned in business and life with others. He sold his company in 1996 which was thoughtfully structured to be sustainable for talented management who continued growing the company. It was purchased by PPG July 2, 2014. A ROADMAP FOR BOOTSTRAPPING ENTREPRENEURS, The Power To Control Your Future: is a book that echoes the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "e;Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible."e; This story shows young entrepreneurs how to plot their course to succeed in business and life by building cultures with good character while simultaneously growing themselves. It also speaks to the middle-aged start-up entrepreneur about how to assess risk and how to focus their courage to begin. All proceeds from the book sales will be dedicated to a scholarship fund.Praise for A ROADMAP FOR BOOTSTRAPPING ENTREPRENEURS "e;Wow! What a book. The experiences, quotes, quick short chapters make this a must read for college business classes. This is truly spectacular. Now I know why it took so long to write. Just like your skiing, racing and business execution, everything is carefully thought out and reviewed. When you think of all the experiences woven into the book, you have to say it is one remarkable story."e; James Galbreath, Managing Director NWQ investments"e;First of all I felt you wrote the book just for me. I learned a ton reading it. It felt like a love letter from someone who is like a dad figure. I found so many pages with valued lessons that should be incorporated in daily life and personal life as well as business life.."e; Ellen Rossi, BOD member Alta Ski Area "e;I am reading the book for the third time and continue to be amazed at what you put together in those pages. Each chapter has insights and advice for aspiring entrepreneurs that could only come from someone who has been there and done that. You have written a graduate level curriculum for entrepreneurship providing the framework for such a course at any business school. One thing that also came out was your devotion to treating people with honesty, integrity and fairness."e; David Sanctuary, MBA, Continental Airlines, Director of the Boeing 757/767 flight standards and training. "e;Thank you for the opportunity and privilege of reviewing your book. I thoroughly enjoyed the exercise. Many things in the book resonate with me, remind me of lessons learned and lessons observed."e; Mark Neporent, COO, Senior Legal Officer Cerberus Capital
I believe the Bible is no use to us unless we learn to apply it correctly and directly to our day-to-day life and progress. People will fail you because we are only humans who are in need of a Savior. However, God's applied word will never fail you, especially during tough times.I believe that the best way to apply God's word is to study it every day. Get into a Bible-believing church and spend time around Bible-believing Christians. Have a regular prayer life alone where you tell God how great He is by praising Him. Next, thank Him daily for all the things He has done for you. Then, lastly, ask Him for what you need in the name of Jesus. Thank Him for providing what you need. Memorize relevant biblical scriptures and recite those scriptures while you are praying. Doing this will help build your relationship with God. Place your faith only in Christ and Him crucified and Him alone.Your prayers should always agree with what the Bible says God wants for you. The more of the Bible you know, the better relationship you will have with God who wants to bless you so that you can be a blessing to others. Do not spend much time with anyone who says the opposite.Did you know that you can thank God all day? While you are standing in line or while you are at a red light or even if you are waiting for the bus. Thank God in the name of Jesus in your spare time and in your planned time.Doing this will create an atmosphere of praise inside you. It will help keep you out of trouble and prepare you for when you open the Bible for your time with God.Twitter: @samuelwritesInstagram: @samuelwrites

This book on Faith That Will Not Shrink chronicles the lives of Aaron W. Izeogu and Mary T. Izeogu-two of the pioneers of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Ogba, the former Ahoada Division and the former eastern Nigeria. They were a God-fearing couple raised in non-Christian families in a rural village in southeastern Nigeria but accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ and became a beacon of light far beyond their community. He was known as faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a friend to many, and she was known in her community as a mother of all.Organized into eight chapters, the book describes the ancestral roots of A. W. Izeogu and Mary T. Izeogu; their parental background; the historic period and society in which they grew up in Ede, a rural community in southeastern Nigeria; and the various life challenges they faced growing up and lived to raise their eight children, some of who are in Nigeria and others in the United States of America. After a description of A. W. and M. T. Izeogu's preparation for life of work and service for humanity and their faith walk with God, the book focuses on the family that raised their eight children (three men and five women). It further describes their love for God and humanity and giving back to their communities a positive influence even where and when they did not receive such goodwill and support to survive in their youthful years.Other subjects presented are forgiveness of those who hated and wronged them multiple times, their dependence on God to fight the battle for them, and their legacy of faith and trust in God in times of trouble.Chukudi V. Izeogu, Professor Emeritus at Alabama A&M University, Huntsville, Alabama, USA, is the second son of A. W. and M. T. Izeogu.
Learning My ABCs with Mattie is a book to help parents understand how important their child's education is. This book will guide the parents to help them with the importance of learning their ABCs. By doing so, children will develop word pronunciation, spelling, and writing. Once the child learns their alphabet and the beginning sound of each letter, they can begin forming words. This book will help parents know how to gain knowledge on the proper way to see if children are comprehending what was read to them. Reading is fundamental to young learners' academic success. This is a tool that is necessary for young learners to use in order to build up basic skills in math (twenty-six letters in the alphabet), matching (words to alphabet), language (developing small words), and phonological awareness (uppercase and lowercase letters), among others. Children will be capable of learning how to read and understand what they are reading and also to ask questions as well. When children gain knowledge of the alphabet, it piques their curiosity to learn and explore. By reading, it builds social and communication skills, which help them to understand the plot of the story and discussing what is happening and also to spark something in them to ask question and fantasize as if they were the characters. Mattie is asking the children to sing the ABC with her and motivating them as well. The book is dedicated to all young learners on how to develop their knowledge of the alphabet and to have fun exploring.

On December 3, 1996, at 4:10 pm, Judge Michael Lyon of the District Court of Weber County, State of Utah, sent a man to prison for a crime committed and confessed to by another man. Prior to imposing the final sentence, Judge Lyon made the following remarks: "e;I don't know that there is a more difficult case where a judge does more soul searching in a case where a person staunchly denies culpability and at every turn in the system pleads his innocence. We know that there are cases where people are punished for crimes they didn't do. It would just be utterly repugnant for me to think that I could send a man to prison for a crime that he did not commit... I only wish I could look inside your heart. I can't... And the only thing I can do today is do what I think is the right thing to do. And I don't know what's right..., and so I'm just doing the best that I can."e; His best sent an innocent man to prison for five years, placed him on a state sex offender registry for ten years, and was a life sentence of hatred and abuse because of a fabricated label and conviction. Innocence Beyond the Glass House-A Story of Injustice and the Final Battle for Freedom is the beginning and ending of the story. It's the truth about how one innocent man suffered then lived to tell the tale. It's a book about rebirth and trying to find peace and discovery that came at great cost. It's a look at the criminal justice system at its worst and shows how Lady Justice is not only blind but habitually deaf and dumb. This work is about survival, self-reflection, the indomitable human soul, and about love then hate, friends then enemies, acceptance followed by complete rejection from every segment of humanity, while exhibiting unparalleled endurance and hope and confidence in divine beings, which gave the author the capacity to abide lifelong suffering.

Though still very much involved, Robin Hood and his men take a step back as new and exciting characters take center stage in this action-packed historical fiction. During the early thirteenth century, England was in chaos under the rule of King John. Rebellious barons were siding against the king, leaving many neutral nobles to fend for themselves against power-hungry knights and mercenaries.Daniel Maher introduces an exciting new twist to the always entertaining stories involving Sherwood Forest. The peaceful and prosperous manor of Dorsey is forced to fight for its existence against the large mercenary army of the evil Sir Gilbert. Shawn Fletcher, a young archer living in Dorsey, rises to the occasion as he, his friends, and the small Dorsey military contingent battle against great odds. The early chapters of the book develop characters and acquaint the reader with the political atmosphere in 1209 England. Then things start to heat up when several skirmishes culminate in an action-packed epic battle pitting good against evil. Adventure and romance abound, not to mention a few surprises that the reader will surely delight in. Sherwood Forest comes alive once again, where outlaws are kings and the longbow reigns supreme!
Have you ever wondered if there is anything to the concepts of God, religion, and miracles? Are you the kind of person that doesn't just want to stick their head in the sand and be duped by someone who says "e;You just need to take a leap in the dark and believe"e;? I hear you. Or perhaps you are a Christian, but you have some doubts. I want to share the evidence for Christianity in a succinct, readable (with a slight touch of humor), and compelling way using the concept of American jurisprudence, which demands good reasoning but not necessarily one hundred percent proof to make its case. Average, commonsense people live this way all the time, and this book is for them. This book will benefit the average Christian, giving valuable information in a memorable way so that they can share their faith with confidence. It will also benefit those who don't know Christ yet by its brevity, clarity, and persuasive nature. I begin talking about common sense using American jurisprudence and the concept of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. I then make a case using common sense to gradually move a person down the line from unbeliever to believer. I first help the atheist see why it is more reasonable to be an agnostic. Then I aid the agnostic in realizing it is more fitting to be a theist (a believer in a supreme being) than to stay agnostic. Next, I assist the theist into embracing Christianity. If there is a God, then it makes sense that He would reveal Himself in such a way that we don't have to wander in the dark all our lives. Then I cover the thorny question of properly interpreting the Bible. I conclude with a satisfying answer to the legitimate question of why an all-powerful and all-loving God would allow so much evil and suffering in the world. Is there evidence for God and Jesus? I think you will be surprised.
