Rund 40 davon sind auch in russischer Sprache erschienen, vor allem im Anschluss an Humboldts Reise durch Zentral-Asien 1829. Es handelt sich um eine Erzählung, Reiseberichte und Briefe sowie Fachaufsätze zum Beispiel zur russischen Geologie. Sie werden in dieser Edition erstmals gesammelt und nach den historischen Originalen wiedergegeben.

After the fall of the anti-Russian uprising, he left behind his career as a technocrat and pursued the arts. This change is documented by the sketchbook he kept in January 1832 which the authors analyze, delving into its deeper structure.
The monograph presents the Polish history of haiku and the forms associated with the genre - in literature and visual arts. Polish works are confronted with Japanese poetry (along with its aesthetic and philosophical contexts) and with haiku-inspired works of different Western authors.
