Die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen geht mit großen Schritten voran. Wearables und Apps gehören dabei zu neuen Entwicklungen in diesem Bereich. In den Folgejahren der Weltfinanz- und Weltwirtschaftskrise (ab 2007) kommt es zu neuen Formen innereuropäischer Arbeitsmigration. Das Buch untersucht am Beispiel der Migration von Spanien nach Deutschland empirisch, von welchen sprachlich-kommunikativen Barrieren Migrierende betroffen sein können und über welche Kompetenzen, Potentiale und Strategien diese verfügen, um Partizipationsbarrieren zu überwinden. Zentral ist hierbei ein Modell partizipativen Sprachlernens im Sprachkontakt, das auf Konzepten kommunikativer und semiotischer Kompetenz aufbaut und eine Interdependenz von Sprache und gesellschaftlicher Teilhabe impliziert: Menschen lernen Sprache durch Partizipation, und Partizipation ist durch Sprache möglich.

Die Verhandlungen der internationalen Freihandelsabkommen der Europäischen Union werfen die Frage auf, ob entsprechende Dokumente zu den Verhandlungen öffentlich zugänglich gemacht werden müssen. Der Autor untersucht, welche Beteiligungsrechte den mitgliedstaatlichen Parlamenten aufgrund ihrer demokratischen Rückbindung an den Bürger zustehen. Der daran anknüpfende Hauptteil widmet sich dem Recht der Bürger auf den Zugang zu Dokumenten. In diesem Rahmen untersucht der Autor zunächst den Anspruch nach der VO (EG) 1049/2001 und gleicht dieses Ergebnis daraufhin mit den Anforderungen des Primärrechts ¿ insbesondere mit Art. 1, 10 EUV sowie Art. 15 AEUV ¿ ab. Die Wechselwirkungen von Konfessionalisierung und Staatsbildung spielen dabei die entscheidende Rolle.

Die Rekonstruktion von Normen und Alltagspraktiken im Unterricht der romanischen Sprachen bildete bisher weitgehend ein Forschungsdesiderat. Der Band stellt die Ergebnisse eines von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft geförderten Projekts vor. Dieses greift normativ-programmatische Bezüge in der Didaktik der romanischen Sprachen auf und kontrastiert sie in einem empirisch-rekonstruktiven Vorgehen mit den tatsächlich im Unterrichtsalltag beobachtbaren unterrichtlichen Praktiken. Die via Unterrichtsvideographie und -audiographie rekonstruierten Fälle werden mit Blick auf die Logiken der Praxis bzw. des alltäglichen Französisch- und Spanischunterrichts typisiert. Der Unterrichtsalltag der romanischen Sprachen wird damit erstmals in einer größeren Studie in vier Bundesländern und an neun Schulstandorten zum Thema gemacht. Neben den drei ermittelten Typiken beziehen sich weitere relevante Ergebnisse auf die im Projekttitel enthaltenen Kontextuierungen, auf die Materialität des fremdsprachlichen Klassenzimmers (Körper, Dinge, Zeit und Räume) sowie auf die Forschungsmethodik der Verwendung einer Körperkamera.

Au XIXe siècle, les Révolutions, l¿industrialisation et l¿essor de la presse semblent avoir entraîné un nouveau rapport au Temps et à l¿Histoire. Un fantasme chronique traverse alors l¿art, la peinture, la photographie et le cinéma: l¿obsession d¿une perte, d¿un danger, d¿un ennemi qui ronge les jours. Recht dient im Allgemeinen zur Prävention von Rechtsverstößen und zur Sanktionierung von bereits begangenem Unrecht. Die Rechtssysteme können hierfür sowohl öffentliche als auch private Rechtsdurchsetzungsmechanismen anwenden. In Europa wird seit Beginn der 21. Jahrhunderts diskutiert, ob die private Rechtsdurchsetzung, im bekannten Anglizismus: private law enforcement die Effektivität der europäischen Rechtsdurchsetzung verbessern könnte. In Rahmen der vorliegenden Dissertation wurde untersucht, welche Mechanismen der privaten Rechtsdurchsetzung zur Lückenschließung im europäischen Wirtschaftsrecht einen Beitrag leisten können, um einen adäquaten Vorschlag zur Verbesserung der Rechtsdurchsetzung des europäischen Wirtschaftsrechts erstellen zu können.

Die Arbeit untersucht, ob die Fragmentierung des Kapitalmarktrechts, die Folgen der Finanzmarktkrise und die Behavioral Finance-Forschung eine Modernisierung des Anlegerleitbildes für einen wirksamen Schutz des Privatanlegers erforderlich machen. Hierzu überprüft der Autor, ob de lege lata ein Anlegerleitbild besteht, das Gesetzgebung und Rechtsprechung allgemein anerkennen. Er postuliert de lege ferenda ein positiv definiertes Anlegerleitbild, das sich so lange an den Eigenschaften des homo oeconomicus orientiert bis diese durch empirische Forschung widerlegt werden. Zudem analysiert der Autor die gesetzlichen Anlegerschutzstrategien der Information, der Haftung und der Aufsicht, ob sie bereits Elemente eines modernen Anlegerleitbildes berücksichtigen oder künftig berücksichtigen sollten.

Prickings (Einstiche) haben die Textspiegel mittelalterlicher Manuskripte vorbereitet. Das weiß man seit knapp 100 Jahren. Mit Hilfe von Prickings wurden aber auch Bilder konzipiert. Das weiß man, seit der Autor seine Dissertation veröffentlicht hat (2017). Im vorliegenden Werk analysiert er nun mit einem computer-basierten Ansatz Texte und Bilder aus den vergangenen 3500 Jahren. Die Bilder in diesem Buch dokumentieren das Ergebnis: das Prinzip der konzeptionellen Stiche. Auf babylonischen Tontäfelchen, auf sumerischen Statuen, auf ägyptischen Papyri und Ostraka, auf römischen Inschriftsteinen, mittelalterlichen Elfenbeinen und Pergamenten wurden Marken bzw. Prickings angebracht und so Textspiegel, Architektur- und andere Zeichnungen und Bilder konzeptionell vorbestimmt. Anhand von Markierungen als optischen Wegweisern konnten die Bearbeiter anschließend ihre Texte schreiben oder Bilder vervollständigen, sei es mit Vogelfeder und Tinte, mit Pinsel, Hammer und Meißel oder Schilfrohr. Dieses durchgängig ähnliche Verfahren hat die kulturgeschichtliche Entwicklung über Jahrtausende begleitet oder sie gar erst ermöglicht. Erst mit dem Aufkommen von Bleistift und Papier sowie maßstabsgerechter Zeichnungen hatte es ausgedient.

El libro estudia la relación de la literatura con distintos conceptos de desplazamiento. Así, trata sobre autores, como George Steiner, que por circunstancias históricas deben abandonar su lugar de origen, aunque vuelven siempre a él mediante la lectura de sus clásicos. También estudia obras escritas en una lengua distinta a la materna porque están destinadas a un público externo (los libros de escritoras árabes que publican en inglés). Igualmente un trabajo, dedicado a una poeta social española, analiza la presencia de personajes desplazados. También se incluyen dos capítulos sobre literatura de viajes, en género lírico (los Cuadernos de Rusia de Ridruejo) y en narrativa (testimonios de viajeros alemanes por Extremadura).

Geht eine bereits lizenzierte Marke auf einen neuen Inhaber über, greift der sog. Sukzessionsschutzes des Lizenznehmers, § 30 Abs. 5 MarkenG. Die Vorschrift regelt, dass eine vorher erteilte Lizenz von einem Rechtsübergang nicht ¿berührt" wird. Dies gilt auch für einen Rechtsübergang im Rahmen der Zwangsvollstreckung. Die Autorin untersucht welche Rechtswirkungen daraus im Einzelnen folgen.

This hypertextual dependence on Galatians explains numerous surprising features of Acts. Critical explanations of these features, which are offered in this monograph, ensure the reliability of the new solution to the problem of the relationship between Acts and the Pauline and post-Pauline letters.

The bipartite work titled Philosophical and Translatological Wanderings in Moominvalley explores Tove Jansson¿s renowned children¿s classic to illumine its inherent double-address mode. Part one discusses the plentiful philosophi-cal hypotexts of the Moomin series, ranging from Parmenides to Westermarck and geared to an adult readership. Part two examines the Polish translation of anthroponyms, humour and cuisine terms as central to the Moominvalley idiom and the poetics of the saga. By identifying translation techniques and linguistic shifts, the author provides comparative insights into how the source and target texts address their respective audiences. By highlighting the triumphs and failures of the Polish Moomin books, the argument spells out the implications of double address for translation and translation studies.

Su autor, Andrés de Claramonte, escribió otra comedia dramática ambientada en la misma época (mediados del siglo XIV) publicada indistintamente a nombre de Lope de Vega y de Calderón, que editamos también en este volumen como complemento.El tema de un gran señor que seduce y engaña a varias doncellas bajo promesa de matrimonio es típico del teatro de Claramonte. En ambos casos se juega con elementos metateatrales que refuerzan el sentido ejemplarizante de las obras. This dissertation investigates the influence of large family shareholders on financial decisions and the performance of listed firms in Germany. This country is especially interesting, as the German corporate governance system is considered less investor- friendly with a limited influence of shareholders on managerial decisions. Based on the incentive structure of family blockholders and their influence in corporate boards, the four studies offer a novel approach to analyzing the financial behavior of family firms. They use a hand-collected panel dataset identifying blockholders and every board position in 278 corporations. The dissertation demonstrates that the degree of family involvement in boards significantly influences working capital and earnings management as well as stock market performance and provides contributions for academia and practitioners alike.

This book analyzes the various ways of coming to terms with the Emmett Till case in US fiction. The 1955 lynching of the fourteen-year-old black youth in the Mississippi Delta raised a cultural trauma in the US collective imaginary that particularly pierced the African American community, later resulting in a recurrent motif that this monograph conceptualizes as the Emmett Till trauma. This motif has historically permeated the whole spectrum of US society, springing up in manifold ways and artistic manifestations, but why does it continue to reverberate with such prominence nowadays? And which strategies have the different communities been adopting to cope with it over the years? This book seeks in literature the answers to these central questions, as it analyzes the ways in which several social groups come to terms with the Till trauma, focusing on the three major novels inspired by the tragic incident: Bebe Moore Campbell¿s Your Blues Ain¿t Like Mine (1992), Lewis Nordan¿s Wolf Whistle (1993), and Bernice L. McFadden¿s Gathering of Waters (2012).
