This book is an autobiography of a young bubbling girl who was diagnosed with a rare disease of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) at very early age.The book travels through the toughness of her mind and body which helped her to carry her journey despite all odds.She was going through a life which was totally different from others-very challenging and full of obstacles. Many great people in India's post Independence history have gone into oblivion only because they were not part of the Nehruvian consensus or refused to adopt models of communism or socialism. These forgotten personalities were also proud of India's rich history and dreamt of bringing back its lost glory. They believed in the integrity of India and devoted their life to it - so that India could rise as leader in the comity of nations. Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee was an unheralded political personality of the 20th century. He was a great patriot who renounced his life for the betterment of society. His achievements in his short life span were remarkable. 'Pledge for an Integrated India: Dr. Mookerjee in Throes of Jammu and Kashmir' is a tribute to India's unity and solidarity and an answer to those who declared Dr. Mookerjee 'communalist, fascist and obscurantist'. He opposed Nehru's decisions relating to Jammu and Kashmir solely because they were contrary to India's interest. He advocated that the Indian nation should have only One Flag, One Constitution, One Prime Minister and One President. This book reveals the failures of Jawaharlal Nehru who was responsible for the imbroglio in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, this book provides a meticulous and unbiased study of Dr. Mookerjee's arguments, which have been conveniently side-lined over the years.

Maoism in india is an attempt to study and analyse the movement. already a number of left intellectuals and scholars have studied the movement and written about it. my attempt has been to find out the difference between the naxalite and cpi (maoist) movements. is there any difference as such? though the naxalite movement took birth in naxalbari in 1967, it is still striving to find a sustainable support base. the naxalite movement got its name from naxalbari village where the first major uprising took place. also, through the merger of the people's war and the maoist communist centre (mcc), communist party of india (maoist) was formed in 2004 which aims to overthrow the government of india through people's war. why an organization which was perceived as the forum of the "deprived and alienated sections of the population" was described as "the single biggest internal security challenge". usually, people confuse themselves over maoists and naxalities and cannot exactly trace the difference between the two terminologies. media simply adds to the confusion. the communist party of india(maoist) aims to overthrow the government of india through people's war. i also tried to find out the reasons which made the maoists in recent times to focus more on arms intervention than taking to organizing mass resistance movement.
