Jewels in a Clay Pot is based on 2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." Open the pages of this book and feast your eyes on the precious gems that God has given to me. I am sharing my gifts with you. Let your heart enjoy these rare, unique gems. They will take you on an unforgettable emotional path, the journey of life. I was introduced to poetry at a very early age, by my 2nd grade teacher. Her interpretation was impressive. She would read with such flare and eloquence; the words would literally come alive right off the pages. I was forever hooked.

A lot of products come with manuals that ease our understanding of and usability of the products. The most valuable of gifts - children do not come with a specific parenting manual; it's no wonder we ache for answers because of our feelings of inadequacy. Even after we try to educate ourselves through parenting books and seminars, there are inadequacies that stem from culture, prevailing environment, fragmented and strained relationships from our pasts. What if, through this book, I interest you in a way out, yes, give parenting one more try. This book is designed to provide practical tips and principles for you and your children to apply as they develop through the different growth stages of their lives. Empowering them to grow into mentally healthy and strong adults, while fostering the relationship between you and your children through their teenagerhood. Nene C. The answer to the infinite? Could this book hold the answer to the age old question, "Can someone explain the meaning of eternity?" This book takes secular worldview at face value and compares it to Biblical principles, distinguishing between falsehood and truth. Have you ever tried to convince that unbelieving friend or family member that we're not "descended from apes" but have found it impossible to get through? This book will take those who view you as the "science-denier" and turn the table, forcing them to reevaluate themselves and their faulty belief systems! Mostly, it will introduce that skeptic into a spiritual world they never knew existed and hopefully, lead some to Salvation. This is this book's main intent, to go into all the world, in this case the secular world, to share the Good News of the Gospel! Reverend Rich Marconi is new to the field of writing. Over the course of his life he has worn several hats from being a semi-professional musician to his life-long former occupation as a retail florist. Now retired, he has devoted his life to honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by enrolling in Bible College and is expecting to earn his Bachelor's in Theology by May of 2023. This venture as an author came about unexpectedly as he felt led to write about the truth of God in order to reach an agnostic lifetime friend for Christ. Now, at the age of 70, this newly published book is his first.Rich and his wife of 40 years, Gilda, reside in Homosassa, Florida and have been attending Christian Center Church for the past 15 years where Rich is a musician who serves on the worship team.
Resistance and distractions came come in different ways, whether through people or circumstances. They can take us by surprise and cause us to ponder. Life has a way of presenting detours that can make you doubt the path you are on. You think you have it all figured out and then realize you do not have a clue. When this happens, we need FAITH to run the race with our eyes on the prize. We all need friends and family that will help push us out of our comfort zone and to the finish line. I Had a Conversation with Faith is a unique book filled with reminders to help you adjust your mindset. This book will also encourage you to set your face like flint on the promises of God and reaching your goals. Donna R. Rutherford Be Made Whole Ministries https: //bemadewholeministries.org
We all go through seasons of our lives. Some are obvious, some are not. God has put these events into motion to give to us a broader relationship with Himself. In learning Him, we begin to see why He has placed us on this earth and how He wants to use us. In this book I have used real life experiences to focus attention on the struggles, conflicts, emotions and circumstances that all of God's children go through. When we look at Ecclesiastes three, we will find a list of times. When a person can locate that particular time in his/her life, then we can see clearer what is coming next. I am a 66-year-old mother and grandmother who grew up as a preacher's kid in a small church in Southern Ohio. I have been actively involved in music and the music ministry of the church since the age of 8 and have taught piano since the age of eighteen. I have a teacher's heart, both in the area of music as well as teaching the Bible. My inspiration for this book has come from years of longing to know my Lord better but feeling as though I only knew about Him. I longed for a closer relationship with Him. After a season came into my life that left me with more questions than answers, God revealed Himself to me in such a way that has launched me into the quest of helping others who may find themselves on the same path.
Today children are pulled in more directions than ever before! 12 life lessons from the Bible for kids has 12 different topics like confidence, bravery, strength and courage. The author inspires and uplifts the readers in their faith. Within the stories that are relayed to readers, the author conducts fantastic simple yet intriguing analysis on their meanings and the morals they contain. Young readers are easily able to learn and acknowledge these biblical themes, through the discussion the author guides them through. At the end of each lesson the author relays the overarching theme of each story, giving all glory to Christ. The author asks the reader questions that provoke deep thought and reflection. These questions make the reader pause to think and respond to the author's prompting. The author then provides readers with a prayer to solidify their response and give a devotion to Christ. Cheryl has a B.A. degree in Sociology where she focused on child development. She loves teaching children biblical truths they can apply to their life, which inspired her to write this book. Prophetess McRae Is an ordained deliverance minister who is passionate about deliverance and educating the body of Christ on spiritual warfare and Satan's strategies against the body after reading this book you will go to another level in warfare may God get all the glory.
Most of us are familiar with the biblical account of Adam and Eve and the fall of man. However, what if there was more to the story? Did eating an apple really lead to the downfall of mankind? What really happened in the garden? In Original Sin, author Adrian Jones takes you on an in-depth journey through the book of Genesis to discover the truth of the first sinful act and what actually occurred between Adam, Eve, and Satan. With the revelatory knowledge that Jones provides in this groundbreaking work, she will lead you to the answers of many questions you may have about the book of Genesis and the rest of God's Word. Have you ever wondered where Cain's wife came from? Why were the Hebrews commanded to keep their bloodline pure? Why must we be born again? Jones answers all these and more as she opens your eyes to the enlightening reality behind the origins of sin. Growing up as the middle child in a family of seven, I recognized early my desire was to raise a large family. At the age of nineteen I was blessed to marry the love of my life and best friend who in time introduced me to Jesus Christ. He was a great husband, father, and powerful man of God. After forty-three years of marriage, we had 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Our ultimate desire in life was to raise a strong God-fearing family, which God blessed us to do. I loved my role as wife and mother. My husband finished his work and went to be with Jesus on Nov 18th, 2019. Since his passing my focus continues to be family and evangelizing. I also enjoy gardening which to me is akin to rearing children, because of the constant seed planting and weed pulling. My remaining years will be spent helping with grandchildren and spreading the simple truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This is my first attempt of writing a book. My aim is to reach out to believers who love the Lord Jesus Christ and love to do His will here on earth as they do in Heaven so that when we get to Heaven we will not find ourselves in awkward position with those that are there already, but smoothly and conveniently blend in with them . I also want to make them familiar with the perfect culture in Heaven how it is different from our culture here on earth. Therefore the book is designed to be a companion- Christian Companion, inspiring and comforting. As a companion, the book enlightens us about the impending doom and the eternal destination of Satan in Hell Fire with all his victims. The book also briefly touched on other invisible beings which occupy the earth around us. They are real invisible aliens. Samuel Ogunbiyi thanks God for every day and every event of his life. Samuel was blessed to share a humble unusual lowly birthplace with Jesus Christ who was born in a manger at the sheep stall. Samuel was born in a dedicated bush behind the house used as a latrine because people were hiding from soldiers in time of war. Samuel was baptized at about 5 years of age. He chose the name himself and people were surprised that he did. Samuel was raised among predominately pagans and idol worshipers who tried to kill him in his sleep; but Samuel was healed at the church where they prayed for him. At the age of 2 or there about, Samuel's mother used to look for him but she always found him in the school class room which was not far to their house with older children.
When talking about process, this book is expressing a continual forward and onward movement from one point to another on the way to completion. Process is a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular result. Please note, the opposite of process is disorder. Our God is a God of order!! In this book you will receive wisdom and insight from God's Word, concerning this area of biblical receiving. God has plans, purposes and many promises for you, but there is a process you have to enter to manifest those divine conditions in your life. While reading and studying this book, remember, you are not to live your life as a believer only but also as a receiver. All the promises of God must be believed and received by faith. Take time and enjoy learning about the receiving process. Dr. Richard D. Holmes Sr., is the Pastor of Morning View Word Church in Chicago Illinois. His passion is to build competent viewers and doers of the word of God, people of victory success and prosperity. The anointing of God on his life causes him to teach in a very simple and understandable way. Dr. Holmes received his Doctorate in Ministry from G.M.O.R. Theological Institute of America in 2003. He is married to Lydecia A. Holmes who partners with him faithfully in ministry and they have four sons RaeDaeon, Richard Jr (Shauta), DeAndre (Kassy) and Richaun. He has been blessed with six grandchildren, Reigh Grace, Ava, Richard III, Richaun II, DeAndre Jr and Harmony.
STANDING ON HIS PROMISES is a testament of a number of my life experiences and proof that God is a promise keeper. Experiences of Divorce, loss of income, being jailed, and mental breakdown, were mine and how God brought me through each of them. There are several scriptural references of a few of the more than seven thousand promises in His Word that helped in the process of recovery. Examples of journals, affirmations, vision boards and poetry that were therapeutic are included. It is written to encourage and inspire others to share your testimony so that our Almighty God will get the glory that He deserves. Barbara Goings Wilson, a retired award-winning science teacher, taught for 38 years in North and South Carolina. Practically born in church, her mother went into labor at 4:00 AM on SUNDAY which prevented it. Her love of God and all of creation has never allowed a conflict in her career as a teacher of science. It is her belief that theology explains "why?" and science is man's attempt to explain "how?". The conflict in thinking is the ploy of the enemy. She is the very blessed mother of two from her first marriage with two grands and three great-grands. God has also blessed her to live in three of His beautiful biomes: The temperate deciduous forest of the Carolinas, tropical ocean in Key West, Florida, the Sonoran Desert in Tucson, Arizona. Barbara and her husband, Carl live in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.
God has so many blessings in store for us. Most Christians are aware that God's Word contains promise after promise of good things He has done for us and good things He wants to put in our lives. The problem is most of us wait for those promises to drop into our laps. If you wait for the good things of God to happen to you, you will never experience them in your life. Receiving requires action. God's promises must be possessed. Good news-God also gave us a divine how-two manual for taking hold of these blessings. The book of Joshua is a model teaching us, as Christians, how to overcome obstacles and bring God's promises into the reality of our day-to-day lives. Use this in-depth study of Joshua to: -Move beyond your past and anything else holding you back -Live full of passion, strength, and courage --Share in the Lord's victory over the enemy and bring His dominion into your life God has good things in store for you. Learn to possess what's yours-your full inheritance in Him.
As Christians, we want life to be easy and pretty for us, but often it's the opposite: hard and messy. On July 7, 2007, my husband, David was injured on the job. He fell from the top of a machine, severing the fingers on his left hand when he grabbed the swinging door of the machine to keep from falling off. As the machine tipped, he fell 6 ft. onto a concrete floor, hitting his head, which resulted in a head injury. He also suffered from memory loss, and trauma. Read how we came through this event with God's help, in a life-altering event that changed us forever. Fifteen years later, we are still traveling this road. Christians Get Hurt Too is an easy to read story of faith and hope in tragedy. Debbie Berger is an ordained minister, wife, and mother. Her hobbies include writing, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking, and being with family and friends. Debbie graduated from Sullivan Business College, attended Oakland City College, and earned a degree from The Institute of Children's Literature. She is published in Reminisce Magazine. Debbie and David have been married for over 44 years and they live in Clarksville, Indiana.
Peace in a Trouble Time was the first topic I preached, after I gave my life to Christ in 1991 in Assemblies of God Church Amakohia Owerri Imo State Nigeria during one of the youth meetings. This topic had helped me so much for over 29 years. Even when I backslider in my Christian journey, I always have this inward feeling of "peace" till I was restored back. God had used this topic to strength me, as I draw hope and see a brighter future (Proverbs 4:18) during my uncountable life's billows. I had always been a firm believer that no matter how bad life situations may be I always see "light at end of the tunnel". I experienced an uttermost Peace during the pandemic in 2020. I got a job to work in a psych unit but upon my arrival to that State I was deployed to full COVID unit. It was not fun my "Peace in a trouble time" manifested when I started leading the dying patients to Christ, thereby getting them ready for heaven. Halleluiah!!! Then came the rebirth of this topic after 29 years, first in Facebook where over one thousand viewed the Part 2, then the eruption of this book to be a global blessing. MAY THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN OVER YOUR SPRIRT, SOUL, & BODY AS YOU READ THIS BOOK IN JESUS NAME (JOHN 14:1).
Everyone has a story to tell-a life's story. Many do not take the time or have the God-given ability to put it on paper for others to read. Since Diana had both, she felt it was her responsibility to do so. She began several years ago with Heaven's Scent: Spreading the Fragrance of Christ. This spoke to her salvation experience and her new beginning in Christ. Journey of Faith: Through the Looking Glass, was the continuing story of her learning to walk with, listen to, and obey Jesus. Several of the new friends she and Russ made in Washington State mentored them, helping them in practical ways as well as sharing biblical knowledge with them. In Patches, Diana's third autobiographical account, she shares with her readers what it means to lose your mate of 40 years, make life-changing decisions for the future, and trust God and others to help you find peace in your present situation. Diana Warner-Adams is a published writer whose desire it is to share the love of Jesus Christ with all who will read about her experiences in Heaven's Scent: Spreading the Fragrance of Christ; Journey of Faith: Through the Looking Glass; and her latest, Patches. All three books have been published by Xulon Press within the past four years. Diana was encouraged to study journalism many years ago by a tenth grade substitute teacher from Scotland after turning in a particular class assignment. "You have a way with words," the teacher stated in her Scottish burr, "You should study journalism." The seed was planted. And while Diana didn't have the financial means to attend university (nor did she even consider it!), her interest in writing blossomed over the years.
It was put on my heart to read the books of Isiah and Jeremiah in the Bible during the pandemic and shutdown periods we all suffered during the past two years. I learned how many times through the ages and generations over the past 3000 years people have gone through times and troubles such as these. Pondering what God was telling me through his words at night time, these poetic words would come to me. Mary Leigh studied playing the piano, thinking of teaching this in public schools. She played for all three of her high school choirs, graduating with scholarships to college. While in high school, she joined the Youth Group where she met her husband and she took a job as a typist for a large corporation. Four years later, her husband was transferred to Wash., D.C. where her life changed again. His love of racing led to publishing a 20-page weekly newspaper that covered every division of racing in 5 different states. Mary typed all results, articles, and stories on a digital typesetter, designed advertisements, and photo captions, and got the layout sheets ready for the printer. Then she served on a Christian Elementary School board for 17 years where one of her children and 5 grandchildren attended. Mary felt the Lord working through His word and has written 2 novels showing God's way of working out difficulties and this new book of poems hoping it will help others with any difficulties and problems that they too may face.
Faith! The author of the Biblical book of Hebrews (chapter 11, verse1) says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." So, faith can be a little difficult to firmly grasp. But the quality of life depends so much upon having faith in the right objects and persons. Even when we have faith in the right objects and persons, we can still fail to fully develop and correctly apply that faith. Christians place their faith in God. That's easy to say, but what does it really mean. What does a Christian believe about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, Humans, Salvation, Security, and Eternity? What beliefs are essential to fully developing and correctly applying the Christian faith? How can I have confidence in my faith? This book addresses those questions and presents clear answers. Gary White spent his earliest years near Archer City, TX. His father was a cowboy on the Canaan Ranch, and his mother was the cook for the Canaan Ranch cowboys. At age 8, his family moved from Archer City to Wichita Falls. His mother's family had a strong Christian heritage. Gary became a Christian and was baptized in a stock tank in Iowa Park, TX when he was 9. Gary obtained a BS in Biology from Baylor University and then moved to Houston where he met and married Barbara Kuhn. He worked for the next 43 years adjusting/auditing/investigating life, health, and disability claims for insurance companies. He has been an active church member throughout his life. In 1997, Gary and Barbara moved from Houston to League City, TX, where they have been attending Clear Creek Community Church and where Gary became addicted to pickleball.
April didn't always know God, but she was no stranger to the paranormal. Living in a dysfunctional home had led April on a quest to gain power and control in her life. Dabbling in witchcraft and astrology, she found that things can get a little crazy when you are sensitive to the Supernatural. Crazy enough to make you wonder if you really are crazy. One weapon -and the prayers of her mother-had saved April from the many battles where demons had tried to overtake her. But the day came when April stopped fighting and discovered that the one weapon she'd had-and had given up on-was the power in the Blood of Jesus. This was the one weapon she would need on her journey into the spiritual realms; from being tormented by demons to arriving at the face of Jesus.

Family. There is no stronger bond than that which ties us together to our family members. Not even the tight chains and iron confines of a raging, out-of-control pandemic. Young Aiden, Lottie, and Izzy are overcome with grief and overwhelmed to have lost their single mother to the coronavirus, in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. At a loss of what to do, stressed, scared, and not wanting to go back to his abusive, alcoholic father whom they had left behind in his mother's separation, Aiden convinces his sisters that it is time for them to strike out on their own, in the hope of staying together forever. As minors, and afraid of what might happen to them should the authorities place them into separate foster care, the sisters reluctantly agree to follow their brother's plan. What follows is a harrowing and unexpected journey of off-the-grid hiding and survival on their own, as the three siblings seek out the solitary solace of the woods to begin a new life. In Family Survival, author Susan Thayer Kelley takes readers along for the ride of these teens' lives, as they journey out of grief and pain, attempting to lift their family life up from the ashes and ghosts of their past. But the road is long. And filled with uncertainty and danger.
Sam struggles with what faith and what his purpose is in life, so he travels back to Bible times where he meets various people who help him learn about faith, the gifts God gives us and what our calling is in life. Is Sam going crazy or is God allowing him to time travel? This book explores all of those questions we all have in a fun way. I'm Johnny B, I grew up in the small town of Schenectady NY. I love all things movies but ironically Im not a big book reader. I have never had the desire to write a book before until recently when God gave me an idea for this story and where He wanted it to go. This book practically wrote itself with full inspiration given by God.
Divine Encounters is a collection of inspirational short stories with the full intention of drawing you closer to God, as you discover life and some of its solutions through the characters as their stories unfold before you. Feelings of joy, heartache, amusement, fear, forgiveness and grace are but a few of the emotions captured in the stories. Sharon McDougle is a native Texan living in the metro Houston area. Her faith and family are her priorities and her loves. Her husband was the most ardent fan of her writing, encouraging her through the dark days of writer's dry spell. After losing him just shy of their 50th anniversary, Sharon took the steps to publish her first book of short stories. It is her prayer that the writing will make you smile, cry, laugh, lift you up and draw you closer to God. Your own Divine Encounters.
