For the last two years, a good friend of mine has read the King James version of the Holy Bible to me. He read for two hours every morning. I have gotten to know quite well our Father in Heaven, His son, our Savior and, last, but never least, The Holy Spirit. I now attempt to live within this Spirit - for He is great - rather than living in this fleshly beautiful, but ruined world. And this I will convey, throughout my book, just how wonderful my life is now, compared to the first sixty-eight years or so. And, if in sharing my story with you, I can bring even one person to know and gain Faith in our Father, His Son and the wondrous Spirit, I will be very happy, indeed. I am quite sure it will bring you Joy. Susan Barnes Robbins resides in Sanford, Maine, with a long-time friend. She loves antiques of all kinds and very old (18th century) homes. She enjoys all types of music and plays the piano often. Susan is the mother of two sons and one daughter. Her daughter and two grandchildren live close by. One son resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with his family, which includes two more grandchildren. The other son lives in Maine. A lover of movies, she finds old films especially fascinating. She recalls (with a laugh) that in the 1950's she collected autographed pictures of many movie stars from that era! She doubts if that is done now! Going to antiques auctions is another hobby; one that she says sometimes really pays off! Susan very much hopes to next write a book - a fiction with action!

We daily make choices that affect our lives here and into eternity. Daily we follow a path that satisfies either our fleshly desires and wants, or a path that grows us spiritually and shapes us more into the image of Jesus. Which path will you follow? What is your moral compass? This Devotional references every book of the Bible to lead you into choices that result in a successful journey. No one makes perfect choices every day. Sticks and stones get in the way at times. Sometimes boulders trip us up. And an occasional dreaded but familiar serpent slithers across our footpath. Let this Devotional help you successfully navigate your path to a perfect destination. What do you do if you aren't an author, pastor, or biblical scholar, but you hear the Lord tell you to write a Devotional? You respond quickly and get to work on it! This describes my journey on producing this Devotional. Like many of you, I am a product of years of Bible reading, church attendance and prayer. I am the person you sit next to in church, at a concert, a member of your small group, or a fellow servant in a ministry. I don't walk in perfection. But I know who does, and I purpose to follow Him as best as possible, as I am sure you do. As I enjoy doing, I urge you to start your day reading this Devotional, to whet your appetite for the prime portion in His word for you-the Bible.

The Trees and the Land of Other Waters is a fantastical tale that brings to life the majestic trees of God's land, Serenity. It is a place filled with peace and wonder, as every tree there is made perfect and is never thirsty because they are all rooted in God's waters. But one day, an ominous voice begins to threaten that peace and begins leading some of the trees away from Serenity by promising better waters, and a better life away from God. Whisper is a young tree loved by God, but struggles with loving and accepting herself the way God has made her. Will Whisper give in to the temptation of this voice and travel to the Land of Other Waters? Join Whisper on her journey as she learns how to trust God. You may find yourself quite surprised by what this little tree can teach us all. Andrea Dial is a woman on a journey with Jesus. Allowing Him to mold her into who He created her to be, has brought her through doors she never thought would be open to her. So, when God called her to write this beautiful story for Him, it was just more proof of His plans for her. Teaching her own four children the word of God always took great imagination. She now sees that same imagination displayed in this book. She enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Many people have a problem reconciling the differences found in the first chapters of Genesis of the Christian Bible with the definitive scientific proof of the origin of Life and Evolution. This book explains that there is not a conflict but a beautiful melding of the Biblical Genesis Creation and the scientifically supported Theory of Evolution. Instead of a conflict, this book explains how both Genesis and Evolution compliment each other in a beautiful manner and shows the Greatness of God, who created the Universe, the Earth, and Mankind. Wallace J. (Jack) Savoy grew up in DeQuincy, Louisiana and attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, earning a BS degree in Zoology, then entered active duty with the US Army as a second lieutenant in field artillery. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." Genesis‬ ‭50:20‬ NIV Karl died and would have been buried, But God! After he coded, he was confirmed dead for over six minutes. We prayed, we believed and we received the miracle as Karl arose from the dead. The enemy tried to shake our faith, but what he didn't know was that all his nefarious plots would have been foiled, as our faith in God grew to greater leaps and bounds. "For we know that all things shall work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28) In every situation, God always has the final say. "The Story of Kings" will let you know that God is still doing what man cannot: the miraculous. God does the impossible, the incredible, the immeasurable, there is nothing that God cannot do. What He cannot do does not exist!

The topic of God being a subject of seemingly infinite valid points of discussion, this volume offers yet another pertinent perspective - a dispensational view of God's work involving humanity, emphasizing its chronology "from everlasting to everlasting." Through poignant biblical storylines, the author constructs an informative, thought-provoking commentary and chronological survey of Scripture detailing the Divine human undertaking. Within this framework, he presents instructive insights and analyses on a range of topics, from historically controversial theological issues to present-day religious practices, making this volume a worthy biblical companion for lay people and scholars alike. The author achieves his aims in an inviting story-telling fashion that is complemented by his use of the reverential and poetic King James translation. BIOGRAPHY George Goddard, Sr. was born in 1929 in the capital city of Castries, in the former British colony of Saint Lucia. In 1951 he and his wife Lita married in Castries, then moved with their children to the idyllic east coast area of Dennery, where they would spend most of their years. Mr. Goddard is a retired accountant and church elder, for whom faith and family have been most important in his life. His first book, The Families of the Earth: The Holy Bible Perspective, comes from that place of passion, and was dedicated to his wife of 66 years, who passed away in 2017. He also dedicates this book, From Everlasting to Everlasting, to her memory. Currently residing with family, Mr. Goddard devotes much of his time to his favorite pastimes of time with family, biblical studies, writing and music.

In the darkest moments, when it seems like there is no hope to be found, God will never fail to guide you to His light, revealing His miraculous power. For Richard P. Flores, the Lord did just this and much more. After his wife had been suffering from what only seemed to be troublesome flu-like symptoms, it soon became clear that she was about to endure something far worse than they could have ever imagined. She was diagnosed with the globally feared COVID-19 virus and was rushed to the hospital, by ambulance, for her severely low oxygen levels. Meanwhile, Richard and their daughter, who were both in California at the time, had to start their grueling thirty-hour journey home, praying like never before and asking God for a miracle. Richard tells the story of his wife's deteriorating physical and mental health while being in the ICU. His prayers and spiritual strength never wavered through his wife's battle with COVID-19, and his unconditional faith in God, along with the support from his loved ones, proved to be the cure for his wife. Even when doctors believed she would not make it another day, the glory of God beamed over her. Through real pictures and personal accounts, Richard confirms that His mighty hands are always working to do the impossible. Richard P. Flores was inspired to write this book when he heard God's voice and knew that he had to share how God's magnificent love and grace touched him and his family's lives. He wants to share the overwhelming blessings and miracles he has had in his life to show others that, through believing in Him and His will, all things are possible.

David Griffith, chaplain and surgeon in the Continental Army, counted Washington and Lafayette as friends. While rector of Christ Church in Alexandria, he played a significant role organizing the Virginia and national Episcopal Church. His daughter Sally held the family together, raising two generations of orphaned children. She also owned and rented out enslaved "servants." Her brother Llewellyn, a judge in Louisiana, requested that property he was purchasing be paid for in "young likely negroes." Sally's great niece Sallie married Alfred Randolph, Episcopal chaplain to Confederate troops and later first Bishop of the Diocese of Southern Virginia. Four of their brothers fought for the South. Two became priests. Were these people patriotic Americans, traitors, devout Christians, evil enslavers, or a mixture? Their own words tell their story.

For many of us, life maybe successful but not fulfilling. We are proficient at what we do, and we excel in our careers, yet we are somehow incomplete. There is a uniqueness in each of us that makes us different. This uniqueness is what I call the competitive edge. The secret to living a successful and fulfilling life is being intentional about finding and activating your competitive edge. I am Sandra Mason, a retired laboratory supervisor, mother and grandmother, and a widow for 18 years. When my best friend died my drug of choice was "busy". Being busy took me to a place of mental and physical destruction. Finding and activating my competitive edge not only saved my life but also taught me how to live again.

With all that is going on in our country right now children need to know that good will still win out in the end. In Once Upon A Kingdom, The good kingdom is invaded by an evil black knight. The hero (the white knight) challenges evil head on and saves the day. The kingdom is safe once more. I was a pastor's wife for 25 years I worked with the children of our church in Boyne City, MI. My husband passed away in 2016. I met a wonderful man from Three Rivers, Mi. in 2021 and we got married in Feb 2022. While attending a creative writing class for my degree in early childhood education I was asked to write a poem that told a story. I was working with the children of our church on the armor of God. I loved the idea of kings and princesses, and knights. I also love that God will give us the power to overcome evil if we trust in Him. Once upon a kingdom was created from that poem.
