The book intends to be a collection of research papers on algebra and related topics, most of which were presented at the international "Workshop on Associative Rings and Algebras with additional structures (WARA22)". The purpose of the workshop WARA22 was to present the current state of the art both in the Theory of Lie structures of associative rings and algebras and in the Theory of functional identities in rings. The conference has emerged as a powerful forum offering researchers the opportunity to meet, get to know each other and discuss advances in ring theory, inspiring further research directions. The well-being of coming generations will depend on our ability to adapt our economies to this challenge. In particular, transforming today's cities into sustainable cities is one of the main adaptations that will be necessary. A holistic approach looking at cities from a system's perspective is neededto achieve this goal. Nature-based solutions (NbS) serve exactly this ambitious and multi-factorial purpose due to their inherent ability not only to tackle climate change but also to provide a series of ecosystem services and social benefits. In the urban context, NbS can deal with main challenges such as urban heat islands, flooding, treatment of wastewater and runoff and food provision. At the same time, NbS can provide a series of ecosystem services beneficial for the environment and the society including clean water production, nutrient recovery, heavy metals retention and a broad range of plant-based materials. In the new circular economy paradigm, NbS can contribute to strategies for climate change adaptation and create a holistic resource management system for the urban biosphere. Thus, this book aims at providing a single reference that discusses the role and effectiveness of NbS in the urban environment and how these systems can contribute to the circular management of water, nutrients and resources towards resilient, sustainable and healthy cities. Die europäischen Grundrechte haben eine intensive Konjunktur vor allem in den Bereichen Daten- und Klimaschutz. Dort haben sie auch eine wichtige Funktion, um die UN-Ziele für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung zu erreichen, welche MaÃnahmen zum Klimaschutz umfassen (SDG 13). Inwieweit bestehen Ansprüche auf Klimaschutz parallel zum BVerfG-Klimabeschluss? Die EGMR-Judikatur wird durchgehend stark einbezogen, ist sie doch vielfach noch immer Leitbild für die Auslegung der EGRC. Das gilt vor allem für die kommunikativen Grundrechte mit dem Dauerkonflikt zwischen Medienberichterstattung und Persönlichkeitsrecht. Insgesamt hat sich die EU-Grundrechtsdogmatik sowohl in der Rechtsprechung als auch in der Literatur erheblich fortentwickelt und wird umfassend kritisch gewürdigt - so zur Zulässigkeit der Vorratsdatenspeicherung. Das gilt auch für die neue Rolle des BVerfG zur Durchsetzung der EU-Grundrechte und für die Flüchtlingsproblematik.
Die europäischen Wirtschaftsgrundrechte wurden stark fortentwickelt, indem der EuGH die immer wieder beklagte grobmaschige Prüfungsdichte deutlich erhöht hat. Daraus ergeben sich wichtige Konsequenzen für die Verwirklichung des Klimaschutzes auf EU-Ebene, die mit dem BVerfG-Klimabeschluss abgeglichen werden. Wie können damit die UN-Ziele für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung erreicht werden, zu denen MaÃnahmen zum Klimaschutz gehören (SDG 13)? Insoweit von Bedeutung sind auch die solidarischen Grundrechte vor allem in Gestalt des Umweltschutzes. Die sozialen Grundrechte hatten ihre Bewährungsprobe im Zusammenhang mit Covid 19. Ausführlich behandelt werden auch die Gleichheits- und Bürgerrechte, die justiziellen Rechte unter starkem Rückgriff auf die insoweit vielfältige EGMR-Judikatur, aber auch die jüngere EuGH-Rechtsprechung in Kartellsachen. Insgesamt erfolgt eine nähere Bewertung mit Blick auf die konkreten Konsequenzen.

This book discusses in a uniform way binary, ternary, and quaternary bent functions, while most of the existing books on bent functions refer to just binary bent functions. The authors describe the differences between binary and multiple-valued cases and the construction methods for bent functions are focused on the application of two types of permutation matrices. These matrices are derived from a class of differential operators on finite groups and Fast Fourier transform algorithms, respectively. The approach presented is based on the observation that given certain bent functions, many other bent functions can be constructed by manipulating them. Permutations are possible manipulations that are easy to implement. These permutations perform spectral invariant operations which ensure that they preserve bentness.
