This is the final day of tryouts for the prestigious Pelican Squad. Who will make the team? The Littlest Pelican did not perform well on the first day of tryouts, so today his dive has to be perfect. But just as he is about to dive, something unexpected happens and the Littlest Pelican jumps into action to help his teammate. It may also prove to be the best dive of his life.
The Littlest Pelican looked out at the Gulf of Mexico. Today was the first day of tryouts for the prestigious Pelican Squad. He had dreamed of this moment all of his life. His grandfather had been captain of the squad for many years, and now it was the Littlest Pelican's turn to prove himself. "You are small but mighty," his grandpa always reminded him. The excitement builds as the young pelicans hope they will perform the perfect dive and receive the Pelican Squad medal around their neck.
