Johann Mayrhofer lebt seit Geburt in seiner Heimatgemeinde Waldegg im Piestingtal (NÖ).Nach seiner Schulzeit erlernte er das Bäckerhandwerk und übernahm 1976 den elterlichen Bäckereibetrieb.Seit 1983 ist er mit seiner Frau Brigitte verheiratet mit der er schon zwei erwachsene Kinder (Sohn Martin und Tochter Susanne) hat.Seiner Berufung folgend lernte er Fliegen, Kunstflug faszinierte ihn besonders.Seit 2009 befindet er sich im Ruhestand. In späteren Jahren entdeckte Hans Mayrhofer die Freude am Schreiben seiner "wahren Geschichten".
