    av Jeanne G Debold
    154

All my life, I was troubled by debilitating and mysterious symptoms. Doctors dismissed my complaints, thinking that I was just trying to get attention as a child. I struggled through each and every day, tripping and falling constantly. It became much more acute after I retired and I began to pray for death. My life had become too much of a struggle. My book is the story of my day-to-day trials and my eventual triumph over my condition at the age of 58. Despite my debilitating and crippling symptoms, I continued to "soldier on" throughout my life, even though each and every day was just a struggle to survive. My condition became so overwhelming that I began to pray that God would end my life and all my misery. I hope that my book will be an inspiration and source of comfort for those who may be going through the throes of the condition.

This book is about a journey. The journey of how creating magic with children has magically transformed my personal and private life. Once I became the Claus, I realized how wonderful it is to allow children to believe in something positive. Children grow up, far too soon. This book is about the joy and wonder children experience when the big guy in the red suit listens to them. Being the Claus has allowed me to abandon the traditional "Naughty and Nice" list. I am not the arbiter of good and evil. Nor am I capable of sitting in the judgement seat. Since I chose to not be the "enforcer" God has provided me the freedom to help guide children. I endeavor to help them find within themselves a way to be kinder, more gentle people. Also, to experience how good their lives can be when they do no harm to others. Mine is a spiritual journey to also find the best person, I am capable of being. The journey has evolved from searching for a "Gig" to make a few bucks, to helping children of all ages find and become what God intended for them to become. The most rewarding thing for the Claus is helping children find how rewarding it can be to "Pay it forward."

In 1984, I participated in a marijuana urinalysis test. I later discovered that the contracted laboratory did not properly test the sample. e lab simply reported my sample as positive. (Note: Prior to this I had been the recipient of the highest security attainable.) At the time of the test, I was the COSMEC custodian for the entire Fort Sill military installation and the school instructor for the basic officer's course and the advanced noncommissioned officers course. None of those titles prevented the army from extremely demoralizing me. I was forced into bankruptcy; lost my house, family, and cars; led to the front gate of Fort Sill; and told to never return. I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina. Two days after I got to my parent's home, a letter was received from the paid attorney, informing me that the army wanted to reinstate me. My father died two weeks later. As I later discovered, it was impossible to litigate a case against the government if they are willing to reinstate you. is was probably the reason why while I was charged with gross misconduct. I was given an honorable discharge. Against my mother's wishes, I reentered the army eight months later and was assigned the position of assistant to the Inspector General for the 197th Infantry Brigade in Fort Benning, Georgia. I performed in this capacity magnificently. After two years, I was instructed to attend the IG school at Fort Belvoir, and after three days there, when a required background check was done, I learned that the army left derogatory information in my files, which would have caused me to be washed out before retirement. is had a snowball effect on my career, and I was soon after discharged again for financial misconduct. Since then, my mother passed on, and I have been in a horrific accident that caused me to lose my left eye, and I became homeless for several years.

    av Jimmie Jennings

David shows all that is in his heart to the LORD God, and accepts the blessing God o¬ffers; by submitting and expressing appreciation to God, which is to establish his throne forever! Then went king David in (to the tabernacle, where the Ark was kept?), and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD (that God would take time out from running the universe to consider me?)? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto (or to this place of honor)? And this was yet a small thing in thy sight (or not a di cult thing at all for you to do), O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come (eternity, in fact is what the LORD God said!). And is this the manner of man (or is this what God have in store (or the final state) for man?), O Lord GOD? And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant. For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them (these great things). Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have (learned and,) heard with our ears. And what one (or other?) nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible (or awesome things?), for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt (or the heathen world), (and) from the (other?) nations and their gods (or false gods and idols!)? For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God (forever?). 2 Samuel 7:18 through 7:24

It entails going to chick flicks even if you don't want to go but because she wants to. Do special things, do not criticize her, and assure her that everything will be OK. Love and understanding are difficult things to hang on to but these pages will hopefully show you that love and commitment will resolve every predicament in 50 years of long and happy marriage.

  • - Leading Gen Z Students
    av Don Broadwell
    150,-

Today's global economy depends on the sharing of knowledge rather than the provision of goods and services. Knowledge can originate at any level of the organization. New models of classroom leadership are needed to prepare children for their more interactive future. Moreover, students are better equipped to interact with their teachers than ever before. They get frustrated when they can't participate in decision-making. As professor William Glasser writes, "Boss management fails because it limits both the quality of the work and the production of the (student) worker. Its use actually causes most of the discipline problems we are trying to prevent." Don Broadwell, a former Marine, college instructor, and leadership scholar offers a blueprint that will help teachers and students become more successful.Learn how to:* discern the differences between collaborative leading and command-and-control;* create you own leader style. One size does not fit all;* make leading exciting for students;* turn leading a classroom into a stimulating, stress-free activity. From the evolution of leadership thought from Lao Tzu in ancient times, through the Human Potential Movement of the 1990s, to the present emphasis on collaboration, this book is an essential resource for anyone who works with and cares about children. Don Broadwell lays a solid foundation and makes a persuasive argument for changing the way teachers facilitate the decision-making process. Collaboration between students and their teacher in goal setting, activities selection, and outcomes assessment promises much more than buy in; it leads to enthusiastic achievement embraced by all classroom stakeholders, children, teachers, administrators, parents, and community.-- Gary Newbill, JD, EdD, retired school district superintendent from Washington State, Dean and Professor of Education emeritus at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.
