Margaret Brown is the author of the popular When Man Said No, God Said Yes, the personal story of her son's journey from a premature child weighing only 634 grams at birth. She is an author of 5 books, a Windy City Review team book reviewer, served on the Aspen University Student Advisory Committee, elected Board of Directors member for a national non-profit organization, received an Impact on Children Award (2018), for designing a Youth Empowerment, Reading & Writing Publishing Program (YERWPP), that helps the students read and write more effectively. She served as a member of the Advisory Board for the Fayetteville Observer in North Carolina. In her free time, she tutors English as a Second Language, writes, and is the Director of the YERWPP Program, utilizing a variety of educational, evidence-based practices helping students become independent readers and writers. She holds an Ed.D., Doctorate in Education Leadership and Learning/emphasis in Instructional Design.
