Not even death will put an end to it; for such things are dispersed into the universe, it's what keeps existence going. It iswhat all creation is made of. God created with nothing but love; and true love is the closest thing to God's love for us. That is why an emotion just as such; humans are even capable of. For we were created in God's image. And we would all ceases to exist the day that we all stop loving.

Splatters of the Heart is a collection of poems written while I was in an emotionally and financially abusive place.The environment was toxic and operated like a church. Some of the poems written capture my feelings while I was there and some are a reflection of my experiences after I left.Writing poetry has always been an effective coping mechanism that I've used to express feelings of love and dissolve feelings of anger and confusion.Splatters of the Heart will give you a candid snapshot of my life and hopefully provide insight regarding my dismal experiences.Each poem is accompanied by a paint splatter to represent that sometimes life feels like spilled paint, but when it spills on a canvas, it's art. I hope you enjoy the splatters of my heart.

These poems were written by Viktoriia Peterson over a period of more than 15 years. The author writes in Russian and Ukrainian, then translates her work into English.This book, A Breeze of Inspiration, is divided into five sections. The first consists of poems written on the subject of love. Many of these are dedicated to Viktoriia's husband, Austin Peterson, and reflect upon their courtship.The second section is about Viktoriia's father, Anatoly, who died in 2016. The poems reflect Viktoriia's memories of time with her father as well as nature and the love of fishing they shared. The work expresses deep emotion. For Viktoriia, the loss of her father was devastating, and it remains so to this day. Sometimes, suffering and longing for relatives who have departed for another world causes an emotional eruption that is hard to stop. Viktoria expresses this on paper in the form of poetry. Anatoly will always live in Viktoriia's memory. Of the vast body of work she has produced on the subject of her father, 11 poems are published here.The third section is about the weather, the seasons of the year, and Wyoming and nature. These are perhaps Viktoria's favorite topics to write about. She has written more poems in this genre than any other.The poems in the fourth section address the concept of God. Viktoriia believes deeply in God, and sometimes has prophetic dreams that later come true. One of these miraculous dreams, about God and the Archangel Michael, has been crafted into a poem.The fifth section involves a variety of topics: animals, Viktoriia's grandmother, her mother, and her friends

A perpetual storm of frost loomed ahead and inched forward; the river dividingNedar from the Frostbound region was the sole barrier between them and the chill's apathetictouch. No one would survive the frost as it decimated the last few crops digging their way out ofthe harsh dirt. The animosity enveloped hersoul and threatened to smother the fire burning within her. Will she scorch the hand closing inor be snuffed out like a candle?
