The name "W. D. Gann" is known throughout the stocks and commodities markets. However, this particular book has nothing to do with investing! In this inspirational masterpiece about the role of the human being in the universe, W. D. Gann uses the Bible to explore the secret to successful living. Through direct teachings from the Bible, you will learn how to understand, obey and apply the universal laws revealed in the Bible in order to bring about your own latent talents and powers and put you on the road towards health, happiness and prosperity. A book, to be worth reading, must do more than amuse and interest. It must be instructive to be of real value to the reader. This book has a threefold purpose: First, it is an interesting romance. Second, it teaches a moral lesson and proves the natural laws laid down in the Bible. Third, it shows the value of science, foreknowledge and preparedness. It has been well said that truth is stranger than fiction. This story is founded on facts and events, many of which have happened or will happen in the future. The "Tunnel Thru the Air" is mysterious and contains a valuable secret, clothed in veiled language. Some will find it the first time they read it, others will see it in the second reading, but the greatest number will find the hidden secret when they read it the third time.
Many years ago, I heard a story by Fred C. Kelly, the author of Why You Win or Lose, that illustrates perfectly how the conventional investor thinks when the time comes to make a selling decision... William J. O'Neil Why You Win or Lose, by Fred C. Kelly, written in a direct and easy to undersand style, identifies the four great enemies to investment success, and share his secrets about making money as a highly successful speculator.
Every human soul is in need. The expression of that need varies with individuals, but there is not one soul that does not feel it in some degree. It is a spiritual and casual need which takes the form, in souls of a particular development, of a deep and inexpressible hunger which the outward things of life, however abundantly they may be possessed, can never satisfy. Yet the majority, imperfect in knowledge and misled by appearances, seek to satisfy this hunger by striving for material possessions, believing that these will satisfy their need, and bring them peace. Every soul, consciously or unconsciously, hungers for righteousness, and every soul seeks to gratify that hunger in its own particular way, and in accordance with its own particular state of knowledge. The hunger is one, and the righteousness is one, but the pathways by which righteousness is sought are many. They who seek consciously are blessed, and shall shortly find that final and permanent satisfaction of soul which righteousness alone can give, for they have come into a knowledge of the true path. They who seek unconsciously, although for a time they may bathe in a sea of pleasure, are not blessed, for they are carving out for themselves pathways of suffering over which they must walk with torn and wounded feet, and their hunger will increase, and the soul will cry out for its lost heritage-the eternal heritage of righteousness.
