My name is Dora Crystal Solis and I have lived in Superior, AZ with family and friends my whole life. I have always been fascinated with science fiction ever since I''ve seen Star Wars and I have always been a fan of Anne McCaffrey''s books and characters. She has been my inspiration for writing science fiction. On the fantasy side mainly reading and hearing the different versions of fairy tales and reading stories of knights, princesses, princes, all the mythical creatures and the like have been my inspiration for that form of writing as well as dreaming about this kind of stuff. This story officially took off when my cousin Brittney (who I co-wrote this with) both decided that we wanted to turn this into a full fledged book which at first turned into a story she wrote for school, and then the characters and the plot changed and blossomed to what is now about five years later.I currently have another book out: Finding My Way to the Lord this is my first Christian Inspirational book, with some more to come. The Blessing of Pain isn't just a book, but it's a part of me. The importance of writing this memoir is to shed light on issues that I've faced and to give a solution on how to overcome these particular struggles. This piece is known as my transparent treasure. I birthed this book through pain but produced power through the process. The Holy Spirt gave me wisdom on how to use my trials and victories as tools to empower others. With this being said, I turned this book into a manual, workbook, and a guide to remind everyone that there is purpose for their pain. I covered topics such as rejection, molestation, rape, lies, character assassination, loneliness, sickness, relationship problems, drinking, hopelessness, brokenness, depression, and much more. We as people face these mountains, but sometimes we don't understand why or how to maneuver through them. This is where this book comes into handy. This manual consists of Godly wisdom to strategically triumph over obstacle that we may face. As you read, pay attention to my journey, complete the interactive part in each section, and retain the information given. Then you will gain the victory when you encounter various trials. Remember, there is a blessing for your pain and lessons you must maintain. After going through the process, embrace all the wisdom you've gain.

A veteran reporter, the story's narrator, covers a mass shooting, a vicious hate crime. The murderer barged into a Jewish fraternity house and slaughtered nine college students. A law enforcement team, the reporter, and four bloodhounds follow the suspect through a heavily wooded area. After several days, they corner the suspect. The confrontation is so violent that it severely traumatizes the reporter. The story concludes with the journalist's struggle with PTSD. Not only is this novella an action-packed crime thriller, it's also a psychological study of the reporter - how he thinks, feels, and does his job.

Trev goes into his doctor's office, comfortable for he is 15 years removed from the rock scene. He sits down and waits his turn along with many others because the waiting room is, of course, crowded. The Medical assistant comes to the door and announces who she wants next. "Sonny Glassburg" she says. Trev stands up and starts to walk toward her, reacting to one of his Alias names he used to go by back in the day. You know, Sonny, a good guy name and who in their right mind would be a Glassburg? And it's an automatic thing now... But he is met with another, - turns out blue eyed beautiful gal. She gets up as he does- they end up meeting each other face to face, and time freezes. She saw him rise. She saw him move toward the med assistant when she called her name. Is this guy going to butt in front of me? She should be reacting- throwing a fit- she has been waiting, and he should have to wait his turn too----------- but she can't because she is suddenly so drawn into him. He starts to blush, having no intention of butting, realizing his mistake of an automatic reaction and not thinking. It just happened, and here stood before him was a woman. A woman sporting ---- a Roundabout shirt. The med assistant stands there patiently- seeing the chemical reaction between the two............. _______________________________________ The imagination- what a wonderful thing. Song Lyrics- HE wanted to give you an outline to start you off. However, I find as one gets older, your inner child starts to fade. So, I write, coloring in the outline and fill it with my words to help you find your imagination once again. And then, give that to you in these books. You get to spend time with that ONE who wrote the lyrics, if only in words, for the amount of time it takes you to read. Light romance, comedy, suspense where HE is your hero or YOU, his. 2022-2023 witnessed tragedies on a huge scale precipitated by human weakness, folly, and wickedness, exacerbated by nature that caused catastrophic earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and destruction and loss of life on enormous scales. Dominating this era of destruction was the February, 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine followed in October, 2023 by a Middle East crisis and war of enormous proportions. These events brought into sharp focus the precipitous, reckless, and thoroughly evil actions of a relatively very small number of human beings that led and instigated actions that have caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings, caught up in events not of their choosing. The sum of the parts make the whole, and each of us, each individual can make a difference. We can collectively change the world for the better, countering the evil worst intentions and actions of those who precipitate death, destruction, and human suffering on enormous scales. History is replete with those who made a difference and showed and led the way to peace and harmony. This story is about how two individuals, in totally widely different ways, can make a difference. To these two lives is added the dimension of a crucial human endeavor that has marked our progress and development since the earliest times, the role of art as a human virtue, a creative life form that underlies humankind's ability to come to terms with our existence and our progress through time. The art aspect is very different, seen through the lens of good and bad, and unified in the theme of achieving peace and that which is right after turmoil, and downright evil. The story challenges us to review our world, and what each of us may do to enhance peace, to look beyond the daily routine that most of us follow by the sheer nature of our circumstances and find ways and means by which we may all contribute, albeit perhaps in small, maybe insignificant ways in the greater scheme of things, though nonetheless significant. The reason is simple. Each of us can make a difference in our own individual way, and together, collectively, the sum of us all can truly make a huge difference. The pursuit of peace is not an imagery ideal. It is a fundamental necessity that behooves us all to help maintain for the sake of our world, children, grandchildren and all those whom we love and care about. This story is about hope and how peace can be shaped by positive and courageous human endeavor.

Therefore, we will examine the thought of Teilhard de Chardin as exhibited principally in The Human Phenomenon as to its usefulness as a Big Map leading from the paramesium to paradise. The reader might find it helpful, in this extended examination, to keep Samuel Huntington's five criteria in mind when examining a map, a model or a paradigm. Is it able to do the following: 1. order and generalize about reality; 2. understand causal relationships among phenomena; 3. anticipate and even predict future developments; 4. distinguish what is important from the unimportant; 5. show us what paths we should take to achieve our goal. (Huntington, p.30)

These words are a collection of emotions and cerebral thoughts to document both victories and failures of an average guy living in the 21st century. The poems document reflections on past relationships, feelings on current ones, and positive outlooks on what the future might hold. Observations on current societal practices and norms are shared as well. The point of these pages are to allow the reader to grasp relatable concepts and also to interpret the words using their own experiences as the filter for comparison.

Garoo, a baby Giraffe now raised by a Chetah (Magnus) and a Baboon (Papio) in the African jungle. Magnus the most fierce and fastest Chetah of the land, trains Garoo to run swiftly in order to survive. Papio teaches Garoo wisdom and gives him knowledge of foods to make him strong. Colekio a Hummingbird then watches over Garoo from high above guiding, him away from danger. Garoo trains rigorously in hopes of capturing his dream of racing in the Great Horseshoe Cup.

Adversity is a battle with misfortune or hardship which can come in many different forms. You could be dealing with self-doubt, poverty, physical disability, rejection, terminal illness, death of family and countless other obstacles that life may throw at us. The main message the author wants readers to take from this story is that all of us are walking the adversity road. The obstacles that we may encounter on our path are not always the same as others. If we adopt the mindset that we are all walking with adversity, it will help us develop a strong lens of empathy and compassion for the people around us. You may end up being the light for another person, giving them strength to persevere through their adversity. We are all struggling with something, so let us come together to love and support each other as we walk the adversity road.

Ever since my mother pushed me in our backyard swing to the rhythm of Stevenson's "How Do You Like to Go Up in a Swing?" I sensed that traditional poetry--with rhyme, meter, imagery, and storytelling--was the heartbeat of life itself. From that time, I've loved hearing, reading, and writing such verse. When I encountered "free" verse, I knew it was not the voice for me. The characters and creatures whose stories I wanted to tell were those outside the pale of normality-"weird and wild," in Poe's phrase-and I felt that their depiction was best served (and versed) by a structured framework. We can't fight chaos with chaos, but we can "put it into fourteen lines and make it good," as Millay said about the sonnet. In this ballet for metrical "feet,"I let these beings speak for themselves, disappearing behind each one like a ballerina interpreting a chosen role. Your dancer may wear a pirate's boot, a dinosaur's claw, or an angel's weightless foot, but the toe slippers of discipline and dedication, dipped in the rosin of Reason, lie behind them all. The role is created by the soles-and her soul. "Come join the dance!"

This book narrates the peripeteia of the young president and his mentor. It depicted the journey of a Buddhist monk who had been a spiritual advisor to a young pop music singer. When she announced her desire to enter the race for the presidential election of the United States, he supported her and used his knowledge to bring her into the White House. Unfortunately, the mentor and his mentee parted ways during her administration of the country following an altercation between a staff member of the White House. The spiritual guru left the United States and led a peripatetic lifestyle before settling in Greenland with the Inuit population. He converted these people to Buddhism and imposed a vegetarian lifestyle while they had been living on meat for generations. The Eskimos suddenly died of malnutrition leaving the guru devastated. He contemplated suicide when the spirit of God spoke to an Iowa pastor to bring him back home. Once back, the young president sent him to Oral Robert University in Tulsa to study Christianity and become a pastor. He later returned to the White House and served as an advisor to the young president. The book closes the debate about Hell and clarifies why Jesus did not and could never go to Hell. It explains why a frantic arms race of nations and excessive war are the primary causes of the world's unrest. The book is also about the hypocrisy of the political class that struggles to connect the dots between the past deeds of their ancestors and the present moment. They want a big military and a sophisticated highway system but are reluctant to pay for them, hence the title "Have It Both Ways.".

Human nature is a fusion of a beast, intelligent animal, and a potential noble/higher being than we are, and therefore the four most important questions and answers in our future journey are: 1. Are we destroying life conditions on earth? Definitely: yes! 2. Why do we do this against ourselves? We do it because we lack far sight and wisdom to understand the ill consequences of our actions. 3. Are we not Homo sapiens? Not at all. From our actions throughout history and currently, it is obvious that we are Homo Stupidilgence, both intelligent and stupid, constructive, and destructive. 4.What can we do, to save earth as habitat place for life, and ourselves as evolving beings? We must evolve beyond our mental / cognitive constraints and conflicts. There is no other way to help us out of this self- created destructiveness. It is too late for us as we have out- smarted ourselves into self -destruction!
