By being transparent and accepting where I was brought about, a strength that I've never had before, a strength that was not my own, a strength was founded only through my relationship with the Creator-God himself. Great Reminder: You may think that one of the worst things in the world is when people talk about you and tell lies on you and/or the ones that you thought truly were your friends and had your back, but! This is so far from the truth. One of the worst things is that we believe and accept what they say, which means we are calling God the Creator of all things a liar. God is not like man/us. Our protagonist Michael is the only male born in a thousand years of this specific lineage, and he is the only one who can give his life for the rest of humanity. Throughout the story, the Devil is on an unholy mission to manipulate and convince Michael that humanity is no longer worth saving. Michael almost loses everything in the interim, but his salvation. This story is not lacking in twists and turns that keep the reader completely engaged for its entirety.

Ode to the Grove: Rooted in Love is a love letter expressing my gratitude for growing up in the community of Love Grove. The community in and of itself may not have seemed like much to an outsider, but the people living there made it special. The neighborhood lived out the words: "Love your neighbor as yourself". Love Grove allowed me to breathe in a time when that was not easy. It nurtured me and sheltered me yet prepared me to face the world with faith and conviction. For me, there will never be a place as special as Love Grove.

During the crucible of World War II, trapped while in the south of France in 1940 during the German advance, Eileen J. Garrett, as medium, channeled various spirits in addition to her usual controls Uvani and Dr. Abdul Latif. Nights of peering into the cold-cream mirror stand on the shelf, and flipping through au-tomaton books of ergy; those consonants of watery ilk now rising on the duck tongue like bits of candy, and the daffodil perfume haze in the air making my alien eyes seek the truth of the matter on a Sunday in June--that instantaneous bling in my eyelids which was purple heather now leav-ing a smidgen of awkward destiny within me. Some foolish hours spent dreaming of the iridescence of a gigantic token pearl stolen from the surface of a Manchurian paper crown made me cry for the old dynasties, the chit words missing from my square pillow. Willoughby willow, and rosy wooze? Where were the beautiful, twisted women of the old days, reeling from a sunset distortion of the actual colors--wild onyx, and adamantine ruby, the rhythms of the slow beat outside the drape of my curtain revealed the petering traffic run amok on the planet of no-return; disturbed eyes run hither and slither on the margins of blarney pages of creased, dowdy manuscripts, seeking truth and weathered light. Like the blue funk thumb-prints of paper-cuts, and grief, melting into past and present tokens of my kind; a shitzu runs out of the noire night into the next street, and I am left with absolutely nothing but my gym shoes stinging with acronyms of love. Theatrical heaven could be only taken in doses, with a hint of sassafras candy stolen from out of the snuff box on my desk; that was grim reality, the orphaned cry of grey-haired children, starved for affection in the indefatigable sun, opaline wrists bedizened with Capernaum gems of a keen variety, like betting for horse-races on a Sunday afternoon was this thing called a sylvan iden-tity, full of salacious vim, and quelque chose passions, the stiff circle of flowers hanging above my head.

A Book of Paintings and Poetry - containing the artwork of Taos painter, Bill Rane (1927-2005) adorned by the poetry of eleven poets from the West and Southwest. In September of 2007, upon the two year commemoration of Rane's passing, an ekphrasis event took place at RANE Gallery in Taos, New Mexico titled: Reflections on Rane. I first found Jesus as an adolescent. I have not been victorious my whole life and I am acquainted with the backslidden lifestyle. But I have found that Jesus is real and His word(the Bible) is a constant source of inspiration and power. Now I I am 70 years old and I know Jesus is able to change a life because He has changed mine.

This is my life. My goal is to obtain my AA Degree in Child Development and to be able to live my life. My mission of The Body of Cancer is I hope that seeing or hearing my story may help someone fighting cancer. Don't ignore the sounds of your body. We only get one, so please take care of it. The word of God tells us in Romans 12:19, (KJV) "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath, for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (YouVersion) And in Deuteronomy 32:35 (KJV) To me, belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things, that shall come upon them make haste." (YouVersion) These scriptures clearly show us that we are not to avenge anyone, that vengeance of any kind belongs to God, and He will recompense or repay us for the evil done, we are not to take the law into our own hands. But what goes through your mind when someone is hurting you? You want to hurt them back, as hard as you could. I knew that, and it was taught to me growing up, still, that did not stop me from wanting to hurt the man that hurt me, I wanted to take revenge on that person who had so cruelly mistreated me and my daughter, and the only thing I wanted was for him to hurt as bad as he had hurt us and gloat about it. It left painful scars on me both physically and mentally it took years and much therapy not to feel the hurt and pain suffered for me to learn to forgive that person. When I came to Tulsa, I was distraught, hurt, and unsure of what I was doing nor even how I was supposed to do what it is that I was brought here to do. Getting one foot in front of the other from moment to moment and day to day was a monumental task for me. For a long time, I was not sure how to go about to starting again. Picking myself up again and moving on.

The phrase, "wellsprings of grace," aptly describes the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the focus of this study as it applies to the Sisters of St. Joseph. According to Thomas Corbishley, S.J., few books, apart from the Bible, have influenced Christians more than these Exercises, transforming an exercitant into a steadfast companion and disciple of the Lord. They build up a culture of love one person at a time in the sacrament of the present moment. This fact cannot be overstated. Mary Gordon, the well-known writer and occasional critic of the Catholic Church, notes that "even if Jesuits had disappeared, Ignatius' Spiritual Exercises, which he wrote to help the members focus their inner lives, would be a monument in discernment and insight." As a reference book, Wellsprings of Grace systematically traces the influence of the Ignatian Exercises on the Sisters of St. Joseph in their identity and mission. No research prior to Wellsprings of Grace has identified and studied the sources from which the foundational texts of the Sisters of St. Joseph have emerged. These Ignatian Exercises have become the distinguishing mark of the Jesuits themselves: "When all is said and done," writes Simon Ditchfield, "it is the Spiritual Exercises that encapsulate the distinctiveness of the Jesuits. It is not the only reason but the main reason." Those who do these Exercises are likewise distinguished as new creations in Christ" (2 Cor. 5:17).
