I want to show christians it's ok to dream big. To have peace and prosperity. And most important I want to show them thru the word of God.I picked scriptures that talk about abundance, prosperity, wealth, success, a wife and I picked scriptures that talked about christian characters one needs to be blessed like honesty, forgiveness, wisdom, faith, courage, hard worker, trusting God, imagination, obedience, and love. I am a 70 year old Mexican American. I was born in Los Angelos, California on November 15,1952. I've been a Christian now for about 33 yrs as of today 12/15/2022. Me and my wife Jeannine are buying our house and we have a new f-150 truck but I believe we live in poverty according U.S. standards. In 2020 we decided we are going to work our way out of poverty. In 2021 God gave me an idea to write this book. I've never written a book before in my life. I believe we all have gifts, talents, and strengths inside of us all that we don't know we have. But we have to be obedient as to what God tells us and step out of the boat. God's plans for us are better than our plans.
The college basketball season is a seven-month long drama. Like life, there are ups and downs with many uncertainties. In this compelling book, author Jack Vande Zande takes readers on an exciting journey following the ACU basketball team from fall workouts through March Madness. For Such a Time as This by Assistant Coach Jack Vande Zande is an inspiring book which follows the Arizona Christian University Firestorm men's basketball team through the uncertainty of the 2020-21 season due to COVID and into the 2021-22 season, where God put team members and coaches in place for a memorable season. Each chapter begins with Scripture that ties into the theme of the particular chapter, and the book includes game summaries from all thirty-six games with play-by-play and quotes from players and coaches. Live action photos are also included so readers can put a face to each name, as well as vignettes which give a taste of life during a college basketball season. While many books have been written about power five conference collegiate athletic programs, whether about a particular championship team or coach, For Such a Time as This shines a unique spotlight on a successful basketball team at a small private National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Christian university. You will be encouraged and uplifted as you follow the Firestorms' action-packed journey.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump - Gal. 5:9 There is a great need for the true church in every generation to examine her message regarding what she proclaims as God's truth. The unalterable nature of truth brings with it the tremendous task of preserving it from the leaven of error, lest it becomes an utter falsehood while having a form of godliness. While truth will remain unaltered, we will believe a lie. I came to America for work in the year 2000 by the providence of God. A land that rose to world dominance because of those who established her on their knees and reflected the truth "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" - Psa. 33:12. As a Christian, this was the land of many spontaneous revivals that had shaped her, such as the Great Awakenings, and known for its abundance while being a beacon of truth and freedom. I saw America as a standard for Biblical Christianity that she propagated worldwide in the 21st Century. Years went by, and I was caught up in the greatness of her religion in proclaiming Christ to the world; IN GOD WE TRUST her motto. But then, the doubts began to appear. A proclaimed truth, but is it the truth of God, or is it the product of popular religion? A popular Christ, but is He the God of the Bible? Are we One Nation Under God or A Nation Under Divine Judgment? This is my story... Jabez Abraham is the founder and president of Desiring Revival Ministries, a ministry to further the cause of revival and make God known to all generations and to all nations. The inception came as a call from God, burdening him in 2005 with the need for genuine revival among God's people and the nation. Since then, God has seeded that burden with a desire for God's people to return to Biblical Christianity, which is not just a theory or theology but something vibrant and authentic, as exhibited in the book of Acts.
This memoir is written about her fifty year career behind the desk of a counselor. Her career journey led her into the fields of child welfare, adoption, medical social work, geriatrics, and outpatient and inpatient mental health. Norma's goal in writing her memoir is to contribute to clearing up the stigma and mystery attached to mental illness by inviting her readers to learn what happened on the other side of her desk. About the Author First time author Norma Armstrong McNeil, MSSW, LCSW graduated in 1968 from Lambuth Methodist College in Jackson, Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Divinity. She completed her masters degree in social work in 1987 from the University of Tennessee. She also received a Certificate of Applied Gerontology from the University of Mississippi.
Blood gives the body life. Jesus Christ's blood gives the soul eternal salvation and life. The fundamental, powerful realization behind this concept found in author Anthony (Tony) Powell's book, I AM DRENCHED IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST: BLOOD BOUGHT, BLOOD STAINED, BLOOD WASHED, begins when we become aware of the dramatic difference between being drenched, as opposed to merely sprinkled, with the blood of Jesus Christ. God wants us to be entirely drenched in the blood of His Son, until His Spirit and breath course through our veins like blood itself, supplying us with the true power, authority, and strength of the Godhead that dwells in all of us. Powell's graphic image of salvation contained in this inspirational book aims for the goal of providing readers with complete awareness of the precious price Jesus Christ paid at the cross so we all can "plead the blood," and access redemption. This redemption was given the exact moment that Jesus Christ's blood was spilled, effectively drenching us all, washing our sins away, and buying our eternal salvation. Pleading the blood of Jesus Christ is a statement of our faith about what happened at Calvary, and offers us true baptism into the Holy Spirit's power, authority, and everlasting love for mankind. Within this blood baptism, our spirits are effectively prepared to deal with any of life's challenges and spiritual warfare we will face. Anthony (Tony) Powell gave his life to Jesus Christ in July 1999. In His Image Christian Ministries (IHICM) ordained and commissioned him as an Elder to teach and preach the word and to administer the sacraments, ordinances and other church functions. He serves at IHICM in various capacities such as Elder, Teacher, Evangelism and Scholarship Ministries. He is also a faculty member and a Prophetic Presbyter of Bishop R.S. Walker Ministries School of the Prophets. Additionally, he is the author of I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.
The author reflects on the awful memories of her past and shows readers how God's glory and mercy has healed her of her pain, forgiven her for her sins, and restored her to the woman she once was. Manuscript's Strengths - Within the manuscript, the author retells various traumatizing and tragic experiences of her life both in Jamaica and America. The honesty with which the author tells these stories evokes feelings of compassion, anger (toward her abusers) and sadness for the author. When an author is able to pull emotions from readers, readers become more immersed in stories and the author as a person; the author of this text accomplishes this. - Further, the love and devotion the author has for God and her faith is readily apparent in this manuscript, and this becomes wholly inspiring to readers as they progress through the text. Readers see how despite all the awful, brutal experiences the author has, she has been able to forgive, ask for forgiveness, and receive His mercy. Again, this is wonderfully encouraging and inspiring to readers, and any reader who can relate to the author will be uplifted and comforted by her words. - The conclusion section of this manuscript is wonderful. The language and message within this chapter is beautifully and powerfully written. The author reiterates the intended message(s) for the manuscript and pulls from Scripture to show how God is with His children even in the darkest of time. This chapter efficiently and gracefully closes the book with a send-off to readers that acts as a catalyst for action on their part, calling readers to open their hearts to Christ, no matter their history.
What does the five-fold ministry have to do with the four horses of the apocalypse? How do relativity theories explain Biblical stories? Are there hidden patterns in the Old and New Testaments? What did Jesus mean when He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life?" Awaken To takes the reader on a journey searching for a better "way" of truth and life by solving mysteries in an ancient manuscript - the Bible. The author looks at stories, symbols, and numbers to show how patterns of words and ideas are evident throughout the Bible. Looking at patterns can uncover hidden messages, secrets, and revelations in Biblical stories. These revelations allow us to grab hold of scriptural truths with a new perspective on what they meant long ago and how to use them in today's world. Debbie Anderson is the founder of the Way Institute. The purpose of the Way Institute is to seek the "way" of Jesus by taking a closer look at the words "the way, the truth, and the life" spoken by Jesus and applying these words to the issues of today. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Indian University, a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, and a ph.d. in suffering from the school of hard knocks. After graduation, she worked as a psychiatric nurse and a nurse practitioner. Debbie is a writer and a worship leader and has served on several prophetic and prayer teams. She resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her husband, James, and has four children.
NOW BEING WRITTEN UPON MY HEART is about the author's salvation, backsliding and problems with mental health resulting from disobeying God. Like the Children of Israel who backslide from God after being delivered from slavery in Egypt, the writer himself backslide soon after accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He "quit church", stop reading his Bible, and stop obeying the word of God. Since God chastens those whom He loves, the writer began feeling the hand of God in time and he repented. Through the prayers of his parents, shock treatments with medication, and group therapy, he recovered from stays in a mental hospital and returned to God. No longer neglecting God and His ways, God's word in now being written upon the author's heart because he obeys God now. Jerry Daniel was born in Oxford, NC. Frances Durham was born in 1934, raised in Woodville, Texas, and graduated from Kirby High School. She was baptized into Christ when she was twelve and has been a faithful and productive Christian since. While still living in Woodville she met and married Lloyd Parr, who was in the Navy and stationed in San Diego, California, where they made their home. During their 20-year career in the military, four years in the Navy and sixteen in the Air Force, "Fran" lived in several different places including Okinawa and Turkey. No matter where they were, Fran was active in the Church, teaching the Bible to children's and ladies' classes. She also wrote articles and Bible studies for Christian Woman magazine, and VBS material for elementary age children for Lambert Book House. When Lloyd retired from the Air Force the family moved to Eldon, Missouri, where they attended the Oak Street Church of Christ. They were asked to organize a children's worship to be called "Kings Kids". The objective was to teach about the Church, why it is, what its purpose is, how it is organized, and its destination. It didn't take long to find there was no such material available. So, Fran wrote the lessons each week that included a teacher's study guide, puppet script, handwork, skits, and activities. The result is titled "The Way". Book 1 Study Guide and Book 2 Activities

Where did Paul get his word for the "rapture" (harpazō)? How does this source support the pre-trib Rapture? Why is the phrase, "the end times," extra-biblical and misleading? Why is the teaching about the resurrection/rapture a premier doctrine? How does uncertainty about the Rapture undermine imminency and foster lethargy in witness and mission? What are the implications of a post-trib view? Why does Reformed/Covenant eschatology embrace the "Beautiful Captive Woman" (allegory) and amillennialism, and reject Jesus's millennial kingdom? How does it fail to satisfy Christian hope? How is it a fantasy? How does classic premillennialism fail as a compromise? On the basis of a literal interpretation of Scripture, De Young cites evidence often ignored that the pre-trib Rapture is the key to the rest of eschatology: the Great Tribulation; the return of Christ at the Battle of Armageddon; the restoration of the nation of Israel; the Millennial Kingdom; and the New Heavens and Earth. James B. De Young, Th.D., is Senior Professor of New Testament at Western Seminary, Portland, Oregon. With Patricia, his wife of 57 years, he lives on a [very] small farm in Damascus, Or. He has written over a dozen books on a variety of Christian issues. His last three books on prophecy flow from his extensive teaching the Book of Revelation and other prophetic Scripture (including Daniel) for over fifty years in grad school, college, and churches. These last books include The Apocalypse Is Coming (2020), a comprehensive study of the Antichrist, and, co-authored with John Balch, Missed the Rapture? How to Overcome during the Great Tribulation. The present book gives new, persuasive support for the the pre-tribulation rapture based in literal interpretation and its significant role for all future events, for exposing the distortion of Reformed eschatology, and for the restoration of the nation of Israel. Pauses - they are a part of life. You may know them by other labels: interruptions, nuisances, calamities, or even victories that force us to slow down and think about where we are going and where we have been. Many of the writers of the Psalms experienced pauses similar to yours, often on a magnitude most of us have never imagined. These struggles or celebrations are expressed in the songs they wrote and some of those psalms are peppered with invitations to stop, stay a while, and ponder their words more deeply. Those pauses are called "Selahs." Dave Cook's fascinating book, Selah - Pauses for Life: Exploring the Selahs of the Psalms, helps the reader probe these Selahs. One part biblical study, one part devotional, this illuminating, close examination of the Selahs of the Psalms brings fresh insights to readers about -- not only the book of Psalms and its authors -- but the many Selahs found in our lives as well. Dave and his wife, Wendi, have been blessed with five amazing children and nine wonderful grand-children. They served as missionaries in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines for 20 years. While there, he worked with national pastors and helped to found a three-year on-campus Bible Institute. After returning to the States, he has served as a Christian school principal and, later, as pastor of a church in upstate New York. Dave has been through numerous Selahs of his own which God has used to help him grow. Visit Dave's blog "Musings of a Follower" at www.christfollower.net.

The memorial of Catherine Stewart is about the legacy of Catherine Stewart and how her life influenced her grandson Jy'Quan Stewart to leave an example of what Godliness is and why we should leave a Godly Legacy. We live in a generation where preachers and deacons claim to be men and women of God. They live and act just like the world and do not know what it means to be born again. Every born again believer is called to fight the good fight of faith and run the race. Before Catherine died she passed the baton on to Jy'Quan now he had to finish well fight for the faith. Jy'Quam Arnay Stewart was born July 1, 2001 at St Peter's Memorial hospital in Albany, New York. He was prophesied over as a child by Pastor Chapman to be the man of God. He was raised in Rensselaer, New York in poverty. Jy'Quan Stewart got saved at a young age by God using his grandmother as a witness. He always had a hunger for a deeper walk with God not merely just going to church but being the church. Being filled with the fullness of God and pouring into other lives. Book of Proverbs presented in modern day language without changing the Word of God. Ron was born in Kansas City Mo., where he comes from a Pentecostal background. Both parents, James and Violet Hardin were strong believers in God the Father, the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. His grandfather, Liege Hardin was a Holy Ghost filled country circuit preacher in Tennessee and would travel the countryside sharing the Gospel. He would often receive offerings in the form of chickens and eggs during his ministry. Ron's maternal grandmother, Emily Seabolt was a heavily anointed psalmist, musician and worship leader. Ron's maternal Uncle, John Koonse, was a highly respected deacon, musician and worship leader as well. Ron comes from a long line of anointed saints of God, these are just a few. The anointing followed Ron when at an early age he gave his heart to the Lord. Unfortunately though, through his teenage years and into his mid-twenties Ron walked on the wrong side of the tracks. Choosing to dwell within the enemy's camp he began to delve into alcohol, drugs and various types of gang related criminal activity. Ron has had many supernatural experiences in his life that by the Hand of God have kept him from an early grave.
I originally hand wrote this book in the mid to late 90's; but had never published it. It is a prequel to my book "I AM HERE: My Faith Journey as a Survivor" published May 2022. The prequel spans my courtship, 9 year marriage that was emotionally abusive and my divorce after having two children. It was after the divorce that I survived a woman's worst nightmare. I was raped at gunpoint. My faith was strengthened as I experienced the criminal justice system first hand. I believe this book can help others see that God's plan is always the best for us and that His Grace is sufficient in all things. My hope for you is that you can experience what the New Living Translation Bible says in Psalm 34:8 "Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!" I am a woman of faith that listens carefully to the voice in my heart. I have written and published two books now that the Lord has inspired in me. I have relied on my faith throughout my life and it has guided me through many trials; divorce, miscarriages, rape, the criminal justice system, and surviving COVID even though I was not expected to live. I have been happily retired living the quiet country life with my husband for the past 5 years after teaching for 40 years. I am keeping up with my 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 4 months to 16 years old. I enjoy 2 stepping with my husband and we will be taking up Square Dancing in 2023. I enjoy hosting family gatherings at my home, reading books for book club, working out at the gym, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Every year, thousands of new suicide survivors try to find life after suicide. In the spring of 2018, suicide was the last thing on pastor Bill Breon's mind. Life was good. But, in one devastating moment, his life was changed forever when the unimaginable happened. His wife of thirty years took her own life. Suicide left a grief-stricken husband and son. Suicide also impacted hundreds of shocked church members. Paradise lost. Life After Suicide is the transparent story of the author's long road to recovery. This wise and compassionate guide offers readers hope and deep understanding and is meant to comfort people who have experienced suicide. His story will also assist friends of suicide survivors and inspire others to embrace life. The author experienced a miracle moment in a remote South Carolina town that changed his life. This God moment opened the door for healing and restoration. This moment can inspire your faith in God. Pastor Bill Breon
About ten years ago, after starting to be concerned about how some Christians were acting within our Nation, I decided to read the Holy Bible word for word to see if I could find some answers to my concerns. I believe I found most of them by reading the New Testament. When I started to read it, I knew most of us were not "True Christians" as we claimed to be. What I found is that throughout the Centuries, mankind has lost its way and has failed to follow all of Jesus' words to us. Yes, we have failed to see all of His warnings to us within scriptures. I found that most of us have become blind to our own faults, and we have become the hypocrites Jesus mentioned to us within scripture. After realizing how dangerously blind most of us have become, I wondered if I needed to show others what I had found. In these pages, you will see why I was compelled to write this book. How I felt that God and His Son, Jesus were telling me I needed to write this book to help others to see what I now have learned. Within this book, you will see the words given to us that most of us haven't seen, noticed or understood before. Lastly, throughout this book, you will see why we need to read scriptures more carefully word for word before we quote a single verse. In ending, I am hoping and praying that all of you will now see what I have learned. Take care and God Bless. Armand Auger was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1939. He served his country for 22 years in the Marine Corp. and the Army. During his civilian life, he worked in technical sales and in competitive research for Diesel Fuel Injection parts, tools, and test equipment, ending his career working in the field of lubricants research. Now retired, he teaches others his love for God and Jesus. He has participated in the KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY, and he continues to share with others what he has learned from reading his Holy Bible.
Production. Passion. Resilience. Teamwork. Contentment. Courage. Faith. These seven skills were embodied over three thousand years ago by a group of elite warriors known as David's Mighty Men. These highly-capable individuals helped take David, the man who had previously defeated Goliath, from a wilderness experience to leading a nation. Did 2020 feel like a wilderness experience for you? So many people lost loved ones, opportunities, financial resources, careers, time, and much, much more during COVID. The worst thing many people lost was hope. COVID stripped away the non-essentials in our lives. It revealed how foolish pride, ego, and narcissism are. It made us question almost everything in our lives, including God himself. COVID brought us all to our knees in one form or fashion. Author, speaker, consultant, and podcaster Brian Dodd wants you to know the same skills used by David's' Mighty Men still work today. In his new book Mighty: 7 Skills You Need to Move from Pandemic to Progress, Brian shows you how applying these skills can help you become Mighty and move from the Pandemic to Progress.
