The Voices in the Silence represents the internal thoughts, feelings, perspectives, and viewpoint from the experiences of a little girl as she entered the world and could only keep in the silence of her heart the internal conversations that she so earnestly desired to vocalize, but could not. The Voices in the Silence is he story of how pain was turned into discovering purpose and God's promises fulfilled in bringing a healing touch to her life and in the realization of dreams coming true. It's truly my prayer and hope that you will not only get a glimpse of His fingerprints and His handiwork in threading the details of her life for His glory, but to open your eyes to see His plan and purpose for yours....... let the voices speak!!! Ruth Ann delights in calling the Midwest home. She is grateful for the Lord's blessing to be raised in a Christian environment where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and committed her life to follow His will and plan. She has spent over 30 years serving children and families as an educational training coach. Her passion embraces the investment of her life, time and energies to encourage each student to achieve their potential as they grow and build their own confidence and competence in becoming an independent learner and a thriving individual who pursues and achieves their dreams and goals. She loves serving at her church and encouraging children to discover God's purpose for their lives and in becoming a leader that impacts their world for Christ. She enjoys reading inspirational books, writing, listening to worship music, and nature walks.
Fran and Lloyd were asked to organize a children's worship to be called "Kings Kids". The purpose was to teach what the Church is, why it is, what its purpose is, how it is organized, and its destination. It didn't take long to find there no such material was available. So, Fran wrote the lessons each week that included the teachers study guide, puppet script, handwork, skits, and activities. The result is titled "THE WAY". Frances Durham was born in 1934, raised in Woodville, Texas, and graduated from Kirby High School. She was baptized into Christ when she was twelve and has been a faithful and productive Christian since. While still living in Woodville she met and married Lloyd Parr, who was in the Navy and stationed in San Diego, California, where they made their home. During their 20-year career in the military, four years in the Navy and sixteen in the Air Force, "Fran" lived in several different places including Okinawa and Turkey. No matter where they were, Fran was active in the Church, teaching the Bible to children's and ladies' classes. She also wrote articles and Bible studies for Christian Woman magazine, and VBS material for elementary age children for Lambert Book House. When Lloyd retired from the Air Force the family moved to Eldon, Missouri, where they attended the Oak Street Church of Christ.

It's something no parent or child wants to go through: divorce. However, author Dr. Christopher Pohlod is not only a child of divorce but almost experienced his own divorce with his wife Angela. Though he and his wife were able to save their marriage, Dr. Pohlod knew personally, and professionally as a pediatrician, the effects of divorce have on children. His new book, Welcome to the Little Pieces Club: Discover God's Love and Wisdom Before and After Divorce & Separation, focuses on life after divorce and how to make it best between former spouses in coparenting their children. However, Dr. Pohlod encourages readers most to look at God's blueprint in marriage and work on loving and forgiving your spouse to save your marriage instead of looking toward divorce and separation. It's about growing in Christ and knowing God is there in trials, saving your marriage and children in the process.

We Almost Turned to Dust in the Duffel is a collection of short stories, some written decades ago, that were stashed in a duffel bag under a bed. One day, the bag was pulled out from the darkness, and the characters seemed to crawl out, sighing, "We almost turned to dust in the duffel." Each character has a story to tell about how their struggles taught them important life lessons: Do I really want what I wish for? Whom should I trust when the going gets tough? Who am I? Am I important? What is more important-the mess in life or life itself? Do I think I'm happily headed in the right direction while, really, I'm lost? Each story can be read in one sitting, and from each, many morals can be drawn. We Almost Turned to Dust in the Duffel can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from all around the world, and from all walks of life. God knew Jean Blair long before she was born, just like He knew you. She was designed in His imagination, created in secret, and when His work was ready, He carried her into the world. Jean was born into a huge and diverse family, which, over time, became more enormous and even more diverse. Sitting at the family table was like sitting in the United Nations. Jean and her four siblings grew up in Queens, New York, which gave Jean a taste of every single part of the world. Jean Blair is your neighbor. She is the author and illustrator of the new book We Almost Turned to Dust in the Duffel.
God Always Keeps His Promises! I think encouragement and inspiration is the goal and message of this book. Be inspired to take one more step, hold on one more day. God is going to show up. He your help and strength and although we get tired and even mess up, we are here for a reason. No matter how old or young or what you have been through, there is hope! "For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37b
Science simply means, knowledge. Science is the human activity consisting in using a method to study the universe that has been created before mankind. And that activity is limited to the materialistic realm, using human senses. The spiritual realm is outside the purview of science. Mankind does not have a logical explanation of the origin of the whole universe except the one that the Creator provided. A creature can only exist if its creator is outside of it. The Creator of mankind cannot come from within and must not be part of humanity. Mankind can only use pre-existing materials to invent another thing. The Creator of the universe created ab initio meaning from nothing. He created mankind (not races) out of nothing. 26 Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." (Genesis 1:26 - 28, NIV). Mr. Saré's upbringing from a missionary household, his own faith in Jesus-Christ, along with his life experience within the boundaries of his tri-continent world, put him in a unique position regarding humanity and racism. The Holy Scriptures and the US Constitution form the foundations of this author's beliefs and moral values. From that unique perspective, Mr. Saré offers to the readers his thoughts on a notion which eludes the secular realm, even as the divine realm does not recognize it: Race or the inexistence thereof. "Humanity - No Races" is Ed Saré's first book.

Safari is a Swahili word that means a journey that changes you. Only when Gayle totally surrendered to God the re-scheduling of her Covid interrupted African safari trip, did God respond by weaving a tapestry of people, places, animals and experiences that revealed His creation as He had planned it and the genuine people He has entrusted it to. From South Africa to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Kenya, this true month long story re-affirms God's active interaction with us if we will initiate a "Godversation". He loves to have a chat with us. With God in your Jeep, He will challenge you with assignments that make you eager to do more. He instructed Gayle to share this inspirational story. He wants His children to remember Him and to come back to Him! As God is my witness, this is all true! Gayle Bolton from Savannah, Georgia is a mother of 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Darwin's thinking, along with that of Marx, Freud and Nietzsche, are the four pillars underpinning the secular humanist worldview that gave rise to the horrors of the 20th century. Fortunately, the other three schools of thought have now been largely abandoned. But Applied Darwinism still exists, although Mussolini, Hitler, Apartheid's Verwoerd, Marx, Stalin, Lenin, Mao and their minions everywhere, by their own admissions, were practitioners of applied Darwinism. Modern science has done so much to disprove this 19th century hypothesis still futilely in search of evidence. Furthermore, the most advanced philosophy of science proved that macroevolution is not possible, even in principle. The Science of Intelligent Design has proven more convincing to even some celebrated authors of evolutionary science textbooks, the "high priests of evolution." Sean M. While waiting in a very long checkout line after gathering groceries for my family; a prophet of God approached me and said, Daughter, why do you worry? He looked at me with very strong wise eyes. It was as if they were the eyes of God the Father looking into the depths of my soul. I immediately began to weep. He continued, it's time to walk in your purpose...write! Life often has a habit of changing our schedules, sweeping us onto busy lanes and weighing down our mind with issues. I have found that retreating to a calm place and seizing a few moments to relax can be very beneficial (Psalm 116:7 NCV). Within the borders of this book, you will find opportunities to relax, as you walk through some biblical word searches and possibly discover a few things along the way. I was motivated to complete this work while attending to my mom's bedside, Mrs. Lillie Sims, as she was in home hospice care. My mother always encouraged my creativity. The Lord enabled me to develop this work between her intervals of sleeping. My mom transitioned to be with the Lord January 25, 2022, and I dedicate this project to my mom, my wife, Ellen, and my family. Pastor Gregory M. Sims is a native Washingtonian married to the former Ellen R. Johnson and has had the privileged to serve as Shepherd of the New Canaan Baptist Church in NE, DC since 1989. He has facilitated workshops, revivals, seminars, and retreats throughout the DMV for over 46 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from the Lancaster Bible College with honors, in May of 2013. He earned his Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Capital Seminary, graduating Summa Cum Laude, May 2018. Blessed with four children, my wife and I have always incorporated games and creative activities in our home journey. I believe that a cheerful heart is good medicine (Proverbs 17) and enjoy opportunities to engage in creative activities to relax. I began creating word searches for attendees of seminars and then regularly for our church members at Christmas.
This Ten Book Series, Realm of the Fallen, chronicles the lives of the people and strangely tragic events surrounding an abandoned Carmelite Monastery, and the desert community of Stanton, Texas. This monastery is taken over by the Catholic Church to become a convent, orphanage, and school, but the new residents do not know that when the Carmelite Brotherhood of monks disbanded, they also left a dark secret behind them. When strange things begin to happen, Monsignor Breely sends a request for assistance, and it eventually comes to him in the form of a recently ordained priest, Father John Sholtz. As this young priest commences his new assignment at the convent, he experiences a most terrifying encounter with a ghostly monk, one with powers beyond the boundaries of his imagination, but this encounter is only the beginning of terrors, and as he faces his fears, learning that things are not always as they seem, he wonders if his mind and faith are strong enough to endure all that now lies ahead of him. Born at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas, Joseph has written numerous poems, short stories, and songs. He likes to spend free time researching and visiting historic sites, and old abandoned places. A few hobbies include music, fishing, camping, vintage cars, and painting various scenes on canvas. He was inspired to write this ten-book series after discovering the unique and strangely tragic history of the actual Carmelite monastery. He likes going to church, inventing and tinkering, Italian and Chinese food, enjoys riding motorcycles and horses, taking road trips with the family, and Christmas is his favorite time of year. There is always another book in the works, he continues to live in Texas with his wife and their two youngest children. He manages a blog page where snippets other works can be viewed and commented on. JC Sparrow - Author - Fiction, Crime Drama, Suspense, Thriller, Horror (wordpress.com)

This book, although about my life, I hope you experience it as a narrative about the questions, challenges, and decisions we all make in life. Often, we're afraid to ask hard questions, fearing the start of a word war, ending in a communication catastrophe, or family collapse. Asking hard questions reduces being defined by an organization or someone who wants to limit or categorize you. When I don't ask hard questions of myself, my motives, or my actions, I typically settle for the minimum out of life instead of embracing all that life can deliver. Reading this book or using it in a group setting will open your mind to seeking greater connectedness and increased self-awareness. Asking hard questions can stimulate deeper thinking, help define purpose in life, and generate enthusiasm for living in new, more fulfilling ways. It's taken a lifetime to realize a lack of questions leads to ignorance, failure, and despair. I'm a grandfather, husband, and father who grew up as a mid-west farm boy, one of eight children, where stability and connectedness were cornerstones of our traditional family and community. I like leading small groups, preaching, speaking, and traveling. I'm a busy amateur photographer who takes long walks. I have a BSME and MDiv; both took ten years to achieve. I started a software development company in my thirties. Twenty-five years later, after my M.Div. I received a call to a Lutheran pastorate. I'm retired and live with my wife of 55 years in the cold north. We have two adult children, two grandchildren, and a dog. I have not arrived; I don't believe we ever reach perfection; humans are imperfect, but we're always striving for a taste of the life to come.
This book is not a 5 step recovery plan for dealing with a mental illness or depression, but in my life I have struggled with these things. I still struggle, but it helps to know I have choices: I can choose to have a bad day or a good day by protecting my inner peace. I can choose to "hold it all in" or talk to trusted friends who can give counsel, a listening ear, or share a good laugh. Most of all, I can talk to God as a Friend and He is always there to help. Also, taking medications and being treated by doctors and psychiatrists who care is a good thing. Rebekah (Becky) R. Williams and her husband, Gary Williams resides in the small Michigan town of Watervliet, and have been married for more than thirty years. Together they have raised three daughters, two of which have autism. Becky attends Central Assembly of God Church (Revive Church) in Coloma, Michigan with Pastor Edward Richcreek and the congregation. Becky has known Jesus Christ as her personal Savior since 1978. When I think back over the years, there are a few statements I have known to be true: "It is a sign of good mental health when one can learn to laugh at oneself". And "It is the ones who can hold onto hope that truly get ahead in life". Other Books Written by Becky R.
