This book was written to convey to the reader God's unconditional love for humanity, his mercy, and grace. Life must be lived on purpose and for something greater than oneself. There is absolutely nothing in this physical world that is more important than God's purposes for our lives. We need God's help and grace to live from day to day. Satan will do everything in his power to keep us out of the will of God for our lives. God wants our hearts and our motives to be pure. Doing everything God's way will bring blessings to our lives, our families, and to our nation. When the Word of God is read and practiced, it will take root in our hearts and produce fruit. The kingdom of God cannot be shaken. The more we seek God, the more He reveals Himself to us and He does not wink at sin. In fact, He hates it. Wealth, prestige, wrong relationships, racism, division, hatred, power, social status, and living in an unrighteous manner are not worth being separated from the love of God. Love is a decision. We have dominion over the devil and demonic powers when we spend time in the presence of God and are in right relations with Him, reading His Word, and praying; thereby allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to us-- leading, guiding, and directing us as we go through this journey called life. The Word of God is life-changing. When we are receptive to the Word, it will impact our lives and the lives of those around us for the better moving forward. God's power, His Spirit, and His Word will empower, encourage, heal our body, deliver us from the bondage that we did not know that we had, equip, and strengthen us when facing difficult situations and circumstances. Ask Him to open the eyes of your understanding so that you can know Him more intimately and see Him more clearly. He adores you! Embrace His promises for your life with love and faith, hold on, and don't let go! Have the bulldog tenacity to never quit or give up! To God be the glory! Ruth Prince-Dukes is a wife, a stepmother, a grandmother, a sister, a sister-in-law, an educator, a human service worker, a friend, and most importantly, a daughter of the Most High God. She does not consider herself to be an author and this book has been written without any claim to literary expertise, but rather through the unction and prompting of the Holy Spirit. When I see the moral decline in our society in religion, politics, race relations, and just common decency, I grapple with whether Christians are truly the 'salt' and 'light' in the earth. The body of Christ must stand for righteousness and be that beacon of light in a dark world that is growing darker and darker with the dawning of each new day. The most important elements of this book are the spoken Words of God which are the most valuable and important resource given to humanity. Just like a car manual comes with instructions that details how to operate the vehicle, humanity has a biblical manual that outlines and tells us how we are to live and treat each other while living on planet earth. This book was written to awaken us to the purposes of God's plan for our lives and the tasks that lie ahead for the body of Christ as true believers and followers of Christ and to carry out the great commission. It is about God's love, grace, forgiveness, salvation, reconciliation, and the importance of prayer. It is only God that can make us whole. In the words of Bishop Michael B. Curry, "If it's not about love, it's not about God." May God be exalted on the earth. I give Him the praise, honor, and the glory that he so deserves!

So much of what happens in the mind of a bereaved parent is kept quiet and left in the dark-almost as if it should be hidden. In Walk With Me, Jamie Stewart, who lost her son after birth in 2012, holds absolutely nothing back. In order to help others on their loss journey, Jamie openly shares hers. Some roads in life are meant for solo exploration, and some should never be walked alone. The death of a baby is one such road. If you have experienced pregnancy or infant loss (or love someone who has), this book will hold your hand through the seemingly uncharted road of child loss. It will affirm many of the challenges loss-parents face, clarify what loss-parents need (and do not need), and deconstruct the backward way our culture handles grief and those in its grip. Ultimately, Walk With Me is a love story. It's a story not only about love but about loss and the hope we have in Christ, even when we find our hearts in the deepest and darkest pits of grief. "If you have ever felt the ache of loving, then losing a child before having the chance to watch dreams unfold, you will find great comfort within the pages of this book. The captivating stories and tender lessons provide life-breathing messages of purpose and hope. You will quickly see that you are not alone. Your story is not over. Your child's story is not over. Jamie's journey builds courage to believe that it's truly possible for loss to bring forth a wealth of new life." -JILL JOHNSON, co-founder & pastor of Red Rocks Church Jamie Stewart lives in the beautiful state of Colorado. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Andy, since 2012, and together they have three beautiful children: their firstborn, Logan, his little brother, Sullivan, and their youngest, Emersyn Grace. Jamie is the Co-Founder and Director of the nonprofit, Walk With Me, which devotes its time and resources to supporting families through the death of a baby in utero or shortly after birth. It is undoubtedly not a ministry she would have ever dreamed of being a part of but something she feels called to do.

The Gift: A Glimpse Through the Window of My Soul invites everyone to catch a glimpse of who I am through the lenses of my thoughts in poetry. Each poem is written at all hours and as I experienced situations or reflected on the past, and is an exact expression of my feelings and thoughts about the given subject. Each section characterizes how I feel about hope, love, the past, blessings, provision, and family, and my love is poured out to you through the ultimate gift of giving advice. The intent of The Gift is not to cure any ailment, but the overwhelming goal for all who read these thoughts that have been wrenched from my soul is to bring comfort from your turmoil into hope everlasting, as it did for me. I have found the peace that transcends all comprehension and I present you with that gift.Blessings now and always, E. E. E I was raised in Sierra Leone, a very conservative society that often cautioned children to be seen and not heard, so holding on to one's tongue was great advice unless you were a child who wanted to be reprimanded. I have always written down my thoughts and feelings since they could not be voiced without incurring a rebuke. In my teenage years, those written words cost me quite a lot of misery as my mother would "find" my diaries and demand explanations for my vivid thoughts and imagination. The ability to pour myself out after something happened not only to me but also to my family, friends, and the world, always fascinated and intrigued me. Writing has always been therapeutic and cleansing, which helped me to make sense of some situations and find peace through others. This love for poetry has been a solace through many stormy and turbulent seasons of my life.

His biblical knowledge, spiritual exploration, lived personal experiences, and insight blend into a meaningful literary piece for the reader. His poetic words and musings open new filters for the reader to approach the challenges of today's world. James Hutson, EdD "Carlos has found a way, through prose and poetry, to highlight the movement of THE HOLY SPIRIT in his own life. An edifying read." Wendy Wampler Carlos, I believe that the depth of the words in your writings can only be discerned through the Holy Spirit and revealed to those who are seeking the Kingdom of God. I say this because there was a time when I was blind to the wisdom and truth in your poems but now I can see the reality of these words. Edvin Aceituno- USA Postman Hosting the Holy Spirit: A Perfecting Friend was a blessing as well as a joy to read. A teacher at heart, Correa's words and structure are easy to follow, and at the same time, theologically complex. He builds methodically line upon line, and precept upon precept, demonstrating how to incorporate the presence of God's Holy Spirit into the life of the Believer. The end result is a rich compendium of spiritual wisdom, useful for growth. Mary Adams Trujillo I didn't realize how important the Holy Spirit is, and you're helping me understand the why of the Spirit and when and how the Spirit is moving in my life. It's a walk through the dark that keeps us going or completely takes us out. This book shows you step by step how to walk through your darkness. I know this journey well. I'm legally blind. But the ancient prophet Isaiah tells me there are treasures to be found in the darkness, hidden riches in secret places. It all comes down to one word: vision. Sight is a matter of your eyes, but vision is a matter of your heart. Think of this book as your treasure map. As you travel through each day of this journey, allow God to sharpen your vision in the dark. You may be surprised to find that the Lord has something so much greater and deeper for you! Along the way, you'll meet characters who discovered a new closeness to God in the midst of their trials. You'll see their mistakes, and you'll witness how some turned their backs on God. But through it all, you'll find the surprising hope of God's goodness and beauty in the dark. These are treasures you will carry with you on the day when you step into the light. Enjoy the journey, and what you're about to discover. I was born in India with a Vitamin A deficiency which led to a diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa. I was declared legally blind at the age of five. With my limited vision, my life testimony is one where I have made a determined choice to look for the good and beautiful, even in the darkest of places.

Few biblical expositors have a scientific background, and fewer still are the scientists who believe that the Bible is the true word of God. In Hebrews 11:3, we are told "By faith we understand that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible." Recent discoveries made using the Hubble Deep Space Telescope have exposed significant errors in the big bang theory while showing the biblical account of creation to be credible. So what are we to believe? A thinking person simply cannot hold such radically contrasting beliefs concurrently. A choice must be made. Secrets of the Creation by Duane O. Wilson takes commonly held scientific "truths" and expounds on them from a biblical and physics perspective. This book contains original visual material, specifically, tables and schematics regarding types of angels and levels of Heaven, respectively. Wilson begins by front-loading the reader with information about creation according to the Bible, then he follows up with information regarding creation using physics and formulas. In this book, Wilson holds to the view that the Bible is accurate and inerrant as originally written and that science must be proven by experiment to be true. Our pastors, parents, and professors did not tell us the whole truth. A fresh look at the wealth of information using the Blue Letter Bible, Strong's Concordance, NASA Space Telescope measurements, and 2 Enoch shed new information that illuminates and modifies our view of creation and cosmology. A deeper delve into the words of the Bible and a closer scrutiny of the claims of modern cosmology are required to better understand the truth of creation.

1 Corinthians 2:2 says, "I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able," (KJV). Some people are only able to seek a quick consumption or understanding of the Word of God, in the same manner that babies easily drink milk, but cannot yet consume solid foods. Then there are those who want to taste every life-giving bite of God's Word, like a finely-seasoned steak enjoyed with a glass of wine. You may wonder, what's the difference? A casual Christian may only want biblical wisdom that's easy to swallow, and not difficult to chew. But those of us who want to dive deeper and get the most out of God's Word and guidance for His earthly children seek to turn each book, chapter, and verse of the Bible into a meal that will forever feed not only our bodies, but our hearts, minds, and souls as well. Readers get exactly such a feast within the pages of author L.L. Miller's The Rib and The Rock: From the Beginning to the End; From the First to the Last; and From the Woman to the Bride. The author has saved us a seat at the table, with each of the twelve chapters acting as a main course. Miller's intriguing, thought-provoking, and philosophical study of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, focuses readers' attention on the finer details of biblical language, especially as it pertains to the "first and last" Adam, Genesis, and Christ's Bride in Revelation. So take a seat, grab your fork and knife, and prepare to slice into some of the most delicious mysteries that the Bible reveals for all of us.

Not only did Melanie Washington visit in prison the gang-banger who killed her son, she hugged him and called him her son. Not many Christians exude such supreme grace. Not many have undergone as severe trials either. Since overcoming drugs, alcohol and childhood abuse herself, Melanie sponsored safe houses for troubled teens who were too hard to handle in the foster care system. She has spoken to myriad inmates, reducing hardened felons to tears. A book about my Journey to know Jesus. As a Memoir of that journey from Pain to Forgiving. Once someone is saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, how are they able to make theological decisions about what they believe as a Christian? How can Christians have assurance and security of their salvation, and by what beliefs and principles should they choose to live their lives? The answers to these questions and many more depend on a strong understanding of God's Word and knowledge of the specific theological systems that best represent God's message in the Bible. In his enlightening and informative guide, Salvation and Christian Theology: A Comparison of Protestant Theological Systems, author Jack K. Mayfield gives readers a detailed comparison of the characteristics of a variety of Protestant Christian theological systems, including each system's views on human redemption. First conceptualized during the author's seminary studies as a resourceful handbook for Christians struggling to understand historical church theologians/theology, Mayfield designed this guide with the goal of aiding Christians in choosing the theological system that best matches their beliefs. The text covers numerous theologies, including Calvinism, Lutheranism, Arminian, Wesleyan, and Free Grace systems, and includes useful supplemental tools to aid the readers' study, including a glossary of theological terms, charted breakdowns of various theological systems, and an extensive list of theological concepts found in specific Scriptures, with over 3,400 footnotes to support Mayfield's research. The author's goal is to give Christians a better foundation for finding a theological home for their beliefs, which in turn will influence their Christian mission and lifestyles choices. Jack Kendall Mayfield, BA/MD (Indiana University), MS (Medical College of Wisconsin), MDiv (Western Conservative Baptist/Phoenix Seminary) is a retired scientist, physician and orthopedic surgeon.
