The My Eyes' Journey Youth Battle Plan series teaches children and youth spiritual disciplines and principles of spiritual warfare: prayer, Bible study, worship, fellowship, and healthy, godly living. The life skills in the series are grounded in Bible stories and Biblical concepts, wisdom essential in our current world. The Intro Book, Seeing God's Good Plans for Me Through the Eyes in My Heart, focuses on the life skills related to spiritual discernment, self-discipline, thinking ahead, and assessing situations before you become involved. Barbara W. Rogers, Ph.D., Ed.S., is a mother and grandmother who has served in various ministries since age twelve. In addition to many years of ministry within congregations, she wrote Sunday school lessons for Urban Ministries, Inc. of Chicago during ten years as a stay-at-home mom. And later, she wrote Activity Books: "God Rescues His People" and "God's Chosen King" for the Herald Press Story Bible Series. As Founder and Director of Christian Life Skills, Inc., her passion is providing resources that encourage children, youth, and families to develop lives pleasing to God in our challenging world. Barbara lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Dr. John A. Rogers. They have two children and four grandchildren. This book may differ from what you have heard all your life. By the end of the book, I believe you will agree with my conclusion. The exact sequence of events or the time of the Rapture cannot be precise. There are two raptures from reading the scripture of Revelations. The First Rapture will come sometimes after Beast of the Sea, which is the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit but before this verse. "I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those that have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God." The second rapture is a little more defined as God calls his people out of the earth. "Surely I will come quickly" was written on god's timing and not in man's timing. Contrary, to the heads of the world, the Lord God does not give a crap what time man thinks that his son should return. When God the Father tell him, "It is time". Jesus will return. The last chapter is The Book Of Revelations. Tyrone Fuller Brown started life in a local Catholic hospital in 1955. My grandmother Brown was at least a quarter American Indian. Her mother was half American Indian. I do not know, who her mother married or the exact Tribe. I never thought to ask her. I guess. The nuns did not like Trone. So, they just added the "Y" in there. When I was 16 years old, driver's license time, I figured out that the name everyone called me did not match my birth certificate. I, thought, just live with it and I have. After graduating high school, near the end of the Vietnam War, I went to work for the Department of Defense. I worked for the Department of Defense for 26 years and attended college at night. During that time, I received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Texarkana Community College; BAAS degree from both East Texas State University Texarkana and Texas A&M University Texarkana. I worked another 10 years combined as an Inspector for ATF under the Treasury Department. Later, as an Investigator for ATF under the Justice Department. I retired in 2011 with 36 years of federal service. I used my knowledge and experience in life to write this Book. May God Bless!

Most adults expect to see other adults behave intelligently and acceptably, but that doesn't always happen. Playground Personalities contrasts the behaviors you see in children to the things you see in adults. If trauma, rejection, and negative traits are not confronted and resolved correctly, a child will become an adult and have arrested development in emotional intelligence. In the workforce, you will, if you have not already, encounter people who hold positions at all levels behaving like the children and adolescents you met between grade school, middle school, and high school. It is perplexing to understand why they are "stuck" and deal with situations like the children you knew back then, without knowing what they have been through. Playground Personalities teaches us that ministry goes beyond the four walls of the church, and yes, it extends to the workplace. A church is a physical building, but Christians are to be an example of Christ. This means we are to lead people to Christ and help them heal even outside of the church. That is our purpose on this earth. This book will liberate you if you have felt dismayed because: - You saw things happen and could not understand why the person acted the way they did. - You could not understand why the organization allowed things to take place. - You became the target when you stood on integrity or against the silent rules of negative conformity. Dorice Woodruff is a Christian who has been in Executive level management for almost two decades. Her desire is to see Jesus Christ represented in healthy workforces that demonstrate their love for people and ethical standards. She is a doctoral student in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University. She achieved a Master's Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Management / Human Resources from Park University. She has mentored and coached a plethora of professionals that range from entry-level to executive-level managers. This is her first published book of what she hopes to be many.

The children thought the answer to this question was simple. Who didn't know their own name? So, they began to call them out when asked. However, a special visitor taught them that Father God had much more to say about who they really are. He declared the truth about their identity that was rooted in God's big love for them. Discover who God says you are!

This book provides scriptural references to many situations we commonly experience. God's Word is His knowledge in print that when applied creates wisdom for living. His Word becomes alive to provide the proper guidance we need to overcome circumstances as we function through life. It is not a common reflex to be led by the Word of God. We must choose to follow after Him by acting in faith rather than be directed by our feelings only. Choosing to go in a direction that is unnatural can be frightening. Once you begin to practice obedience, it gradually becomes easier. As we move in faith and proceed under His guidance we learn that our circumstances will begin to change as well as our character and trust in Him. Obedience is a most critical area that humans shy away from because we have the wrong idea of its purpose. About the Author - www.DougPoole.net Doug Poole spent his life growing up on a farm in Oklahoma and then moved to Wichita, Kansas at age twelve. Graduating from Wichita High School South, he then went to college at the University of Oklahoma. The Marine Corps, Okinawa, and Vietnam occupied his time until getting married in 1971. His 42-years of marriage caused him to turn from his single thinking and become involved with a family and the Lord. His life on the farm growing up and his godly grandparents proved to be foundational in his development for what was coming in the future. Now remarried, a season of remembrance and biblical principles have finally persuaded him to seek a new adventure. And, that new adventure has been sharing with others what God has taught him and referencing biblical principles learned in the writing of several books.

Demons are real and can appear to anyone at any time in any form. Chip Sloan can testify to this statement as he witnessed first-hand his own son being terrorized by not one, but many demons in the forms of substance abuse. For thirty-six years, his son fought against his addiction to tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. He would win some battles through faith and God's protection; other battles were lost as his mind succumbed to the temptations of demons. The battle ended in 2018 when Chip Sloan buried his forty-six-year-old son in the ground. No parent should ever have to bear witness to the death of a child, but there are times it, unfortunately, cannot be helped. Demons of Addiction is the raw and emotional true story of a father who did all he could to help his son, and the honest and hopeful lesson of a man who wishes to share his knowledge to help others. Sloan's story is not easy to read, but it is necessary to understand and retain the valuable information provided, both factual and spiritual, for he not only choses to focus on what addiction looks like in physical form, but also what it does to the mind and the soul. The battle against addiction is one of the ultimate forms of spiritual warfare anyone could come across. Yes, Sloan has witnessed the strength of Satan, and his demons and the power behind their temptations and their lies, but he has also witnessed the strength of God, and the power behind His love and glory is indestructible. Even if one's faith is no bigger than a mustard seed, have faith in God, for He will take care of any who struggle with their own demons, and lead them to others who can help.

Do you ever feel like you are walking in a fog when you look into the Old Testament? The Old Testament contains much that seems confusing - everything from unbelievable miracles to dysfunctional heroes, and subjects like polygamy, genocide, idolatry, and slavery. Then there is the crazy order in which the books are arranged. Add to that, an apparent lack of unity, the absence of a central theme, and the fact that the Old Testament just doesn't seem to make sense! Why should I read it? Why are these stories and writings important, anyway? We live under grace, not law! Is it even relevant for today? If you have ever struggled with these and a hundred other questions about the Old Testament, this is the book for you. Clearing the Fog will give you clarity into the organization, unity, and theme of the Old Testament. It will also give insight into some of the tough questions that arise out of reading the Old Testament pages. Clearing the Fog will provide you with some precise reasons why the Old Testament is invaluable for living as a New Testament believer in Jesus Christ. This book will help you discover in the pages of the Old Testament truths to guide your daily life as you seek to please God. Sam Crouch, is senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Elko, Nevada. Do you feel unfulfilled in your friendships? Do you ever feel like they should be more supportive, more generous, more joyous, and generally more substantial? Do you find yourself standing alone at too many church potlucks, or engaging in shallow and meaningless conversation with people you've known your whole life, but you've realized you don't really know them? God intended us for deeper relationships than we realize. His Book, the Bible, was a love story from Him to the world-and a manual on how to give that love back to Him and to the people around us. For creative and meaningful relationships, we must understand God's love and how we can use our personal relationship with Him to relate to others. But this requires a change in thinking, a change in interacting, and possibly a change in church culture itself. Erin Pressel is a writer, artist, polymath, enthusiastic book buyer, player of music, dabbler in Scottish Gaelic, and too curious for her own good. Referred to by no one as the Caretaker for lack of qualification, she has always wanted a nickname, but has never had one because her name is too short. Her hobbies are being facetious, daydreaming and thinking too much. She lives in Dallas, Oregon, and Mirror Image is her first published work.

The gift of tongues is a powerful and important gift of the Holy Spirit. What if there is more to this gift than we have ever imagined? In Jacob's Ladder and the Gift of Glossary, author Jimmy Weiss provides an exposition of the spiritual gift of tongues and what this gift really means in the lives of believers. After dedicating thousands of hours to attempting to provide understanding about the Christian faith over the last five years, Weiss's quest to answer hard questions concerning Christian doctrines resulted in a focused study of the gift of tongues. While examining the Greek version of 1 Corinthians, the true nature of the gift of tongues became suddenly very clear. Through this revelatory work, Weiss exposes the purpose of this God-given gift by explaining the gift of tongues as the gift of glossary, or the gift of hard words, and how this communication brings us closer to God, similar to Jacob's ladder in the book of Genesis. With Weiss's approach to the gift of glossary, we discover that the ability to speak in tongues is the spiritual endowment of competence with obscure, difficult-to-understand words. Just as a glossary is a portion of a book that explains terms once previously unknown, the gift of glossary is the method the Holy Spirit uses to illuminate words of a spiritual origin to believers.Through this gift, God has provided His children with the amazing ability to spiritually express themselves using words that are incomprehensible to the earthly mind. Embrace the profound potential held within the gift of glossary as you take your discernment of tongues to a deeper level and connect with God in powerful ways.

The Bible is supposed to be the place we go to find answers, but what happens when we are still left with questions? We often continue believing what we are taught without completely understanding why.It is important to know what we believe. But it is crucial to know WHY we believe what we believe. Josh Coverett has systematically addressed many of the difficult questions about the Bible. Why must we all pay for Adam's sin? Why does God seem so different in the Old Testament than He does in the New Testament? For too long we have accepted answers which still leave us with questions. If we can partake of the Lord's Supper unworthily; what makes us unworthy? If God knows everything we need before we pray, why do we pray? Incomprehensibly Understood allows Scripture to speak for itself. God understands our questions and has revealed the answers within His Word. It is time to dig deeper!

Part testimony, part autobiography, part coming-of-age story, and full of insight and grace, this touching personal memoir by an American farmer's son emphasizes God and His presence in times of tragedy, calling believers of the Christian faith to put their trust in the Lord Jesus during life's darkest seasons.

Those who are followers of Christ are supposed to sound the alarm to warn the people of pending danger. The purpose of this book is my awkward way of pointing out that the United States of America is on the road to destruction. The news is full of stories about "The Big Lie". But has any one stop to notice the signs of the time. This is not the first time a lie enslaved a nation. I have another book call "The Lie of Abram" that will explain the workings of a lie. This Book, "If The Truth Be Told" points out that the foundation of the Christian Religion is based on a lie. And that foundation is beginning to crumble. You can have the right stuff, but it still need to be put together right. The foundation of The Christian Religion is the Birth, Dealt and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the instruction book is the Bible. You have to read the instruction book if you want to do it right. This book is my response to all three. William Earl Parker is just a voice in the crowd somewhere on the sidelines. He is a Disciple of Christ who walks by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). William's colleagues refer to him as a free thinker because he rejects accepted opinions; especially those concerning religious beliefs. William is a heretic because he holds an opinion at odds with what is generally accepted by his religious order. The truth of the matter is William was formerly an ordained Preacher in the Missionary Baptist Church and an Elder in The Church of God in Christ.

This book was written to help readers to understand God, his son Jesus and the word of God better, and to show that there really is a creator who loves his creation and wants to establish a close relationship with those who want a relationship with him. He wants to help them, heal them, strengthen them, wants the best for them, and wants to transform them into his image. The other reason I wrote this book is to show readers that we are living in the last days, before Jesus returns for his Bride (children of God). I cannot stress how important it is to read and understand that we are living in the last days, and now is the time to establish or reestablish your relationship with Jesus now before The Day of the Lord comes. S.L. Krueger is from Wisconsin, but was originally born in Chicago IL: She went back to school to acquire her General Education Diploma at Scott Community college in Bettendorf IA. She went on to college to continue her education and in doing so acquired great writing skills. Before and after going to college Mrs. Krueger loved reading the Bible and the King James Version was her favorite, because it came from the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures. She developed a love for God, his word, and for the people of the world and decided she must write her book, to tell the world the Holy Bible is the true living word of God that changes the lives of the people who read it. Her book is filled with some of her favorite Bible scriptures that inspire and move her.

Messages for the Heart is his devotional that offers a diversity of Scripture, true stories, inspirational pep talks, and prayers to help remind us all that through the planned and the unplanned events of life, God is always there and will never give us more than we can handle. A.g. Love grew up an Army brat, living in a variety of different places throughout the world. Entering the workforce, he worked in a variety of different professions, including a restaurant manager; heavy equipment operator for a government contractor; co-founder of non-profit which included a kids church, an adult church and an after-school day treatment for kids with social and emotional concerns; and a hospice chaplain. A.g. has served since his twenties as a minister with a variety of different denominations as well as a variety of settings. Through the prayers of his great grandmother, he came to know the Lord, and as a young adult committed his life to the Lord. As with most people he had many trials and tribulations but through them all he learned the importance of trusting God in every aspect of his life. A.g. prays that you will find a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as he did. His website is messagesfortheheart.org.
