Have you ever thought about moments of time in your life that you wished you could go back? Such as carefree summer days and the joys of childhood, playing hide-and-seek and exploring the great outdoors? In his book Growing Up in Tennessee, author Timothy Hill does just that, transporting readers back to rural Tennessee in the 1970s and reminiscing on the adventures of his years from childhood to young adulthood. Growing Up in Tennessee by Timothy Hill is a memoir that shares the author's life experiences of growing up in a Southern Christian home in Decherd, Tennessee. Throughout its pages, he reflects on times with his parents and grandparents, who have since gone to heaven, and describes what it was like growing up on a farm and being part of a close-knit community through school and church. The book focuses on the faith foundation that was placed in Timothy's life through his family and church, describing attending Sunday School taught by family members and seeing the role faith played in their lives. A reminder of how importance it is to teach children about the Lord from a very young age, this faith foundation is what brought Timothy back to God and a Christian lifestyle in later years. A trip down memory lane, this book is sure to delight readers as they head back to the good ole' days! Tim Hill is from Decherd TN. He loves to read the Bible and learn about God. He enjoys fishing and relic hunting with his metal detector. He wanted to tell his stories of what it is to grow up and become a man that is molded by God.

BED BUG STEW is two books in one volume! First is a compilation of short story fiction and poetry on a wide range of subject matter: science fiction, messages from the heart, and a little terror thrown in. You will laugh out loud and shed a tear, and you will remember all the characters and their flaws, strengths, motivations, and sometimes the depths of their souls. You will meet a senior citizen who hears other people's thoughts through his hearing aids, a football coach who shuns interviews, a widow who changes her life for one that she loathed, a mason whose soul has been crushed, a man who claims to have been in thousands of movies, and a ballplayer whose best moments were off the field. And many many more... The second book is the author's first person account of his attendance at the New York Yankees Men's Fantasy Camp in January 2023. Yes, it is hilarious. Lies that we tell ourselves, caressing the thought, Deeds that we never do, nor what we ought. It's tempting to tell others what they must do, I see the injustice. These rules are for you. I was compelled to write this book due to the issues I was having, and others I've heard of, because of this horrific disease. Also, to share education on the info provided to me with others who are going through similar circumstances. I also made some suggestions in the book for the readers, if they would be willing to try what worked for me, which was God's Word it heals, and is challenging. It helped to mold and focus us to grow. We wouldn't have gotten as far as we did if it wasn't for His Word. The Lord gave me the wisdom, and guidance to seek out the proper avenues of help, and to overcome a lot of the schemes of the devil! You are an overcomer! Be blessed!!! Born in sunny California, Gail is the eldest of two. Gail came from a very unique home. Her mother from Nebraska, and her stepfather from Sweden that raised her. When Gail was seven, they flew across continent to Sweden, Copenhagen, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, Stockholm, and Norway to meet family. Gail traveled a lot. Also at seven, Gail was going to a predominantly Jewish Elementary where she was truly blessed. Mrs. Hoffman, her favorite teacher, nurtured and exposed her to great things. Gail will never forget her praying grandmother DeeDee who introduced her to Christ and taught her the "Yes, Jesus Loves Me Song". Gail and her grandmother would sing it together as she played the piano. Gail misses her. Gail has two beautiful children, and three lovely grandchildren, she's been through the good, the bad, and the ugly, but God is changing that ugly into pretty. Gail must say "Jesus is her rock, and her salvation, and without Him we can do nothing"!

Due to life's experiences, the author has written poetry and brief devotionals to bring encouragement and hope to the reader. Everyone goes through difficulties, physical struggles, and sorrows, but in the midst of her storms, Marilyn has maintained vision and confidence of a clear horizon. It is her hope that this book will be a life raft for each person, and a steppingstone in their walk of faith. God is present in our storms! He has been my anchor through life's sorrows and afflictions. God is who He says He is, and does what He declares He will do! In 2002 I had pneumonia, and a virus went into the T6 of my spine. As the virus feasted, the damage caused me to collapse. It was then I began to deal with the effects of transverse myelitis. After a month of physical therapy, I learned to walk again. I walked using two canes for stability, and then cancer came. The Lord brought me through a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation, surrounded by precious family and friends. The day came, as I was trying to get into our home, I could not raise my foot up onto the threshold. I tried and tried, but I could not. My loving husband immediately placed ramps at the entrances of our home, so I could shuffle my feet with success. Later, a battery-operated chair became essential! My body began having new symptoms of difficulty. It was concluded that since my oxygen level was 51 while I slept and 78 while I sat in my chair, I was in respiratory failure. I was placed on 8 liters of oxygen at night and 2 liters during the day. The time came when I spent most of my existence on my bed. The greatest difficulty of each day was trying to get out of bed. My awesome Lord Jesus began bursting poetry through me during this season of my life. Today, by His miraculous Hand, I no longer need prescribed oxygen, and I can walk short distances with a walker. God, who has been with me in the journey, is raising me up! I refuse to call impossible that which God calls possible!
In a world where mysterious phenomena are often chalked up to coincidence, many seem to forget that our God is a God of Miracles. Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón has experienced decades of medical miracles worked by God's hand, and compelled by God's mercy and love, he bears witness to wonders the Lord has worked in his life and that of his family's. Healed by Dr. M. Ricardo Calderón is a unique medical treatise on divine healing that complements, supports, and fills a void in the faith and medicine literature available today. His work describes six different healing experiences that have taken place over his lifetime, including being healed from leukemia despite incomplete chemotherapy, followed by complete cancer remission for twenty-four years and counting. As a Christian physician executive, educator, and global health expert, Dr. Calderón integrates scientific knowhow with spiritual and divine healing experiences. He includes medical descriptions of six illnesses with a corresponding miraculous healing story and spiritual interpretation, along with evidence-based documentation. This narrative is accented by seventy-eight wisdom keys and discernments supported by Bible verses/citations, making this a work of both healing and wisdom. God is real, and He operates above and beyond the natural in the realm where all miracles are possible. Christians and non-Christians alike must only have faith and believe that they can be healed too, and they will find the solutions to whatever problems and struggles they are facing. God continues to perform miracles, and He is the same, today, yesterday, and forever. He is the Lord who heals. M. RICARDO CALDERÓN, MD, MPH, FPMER, was born in Guatemala, Central America. He is a physician executive, educator and global health expert with over 25 years of experience in senior leadership, representation, advisory services, and management of public, private, academic, research, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, faith-based and non-profit organizations in over 20 countries. He was educated and trained at five universities in Guatemala (USAC) and the United States (UCLA, USC, CSUN, UNC).

Yes, It Matters proves that our that our clothing style and selection choices matter as God's children. It does so by furnishing the reader a reasoned explanation of dress standards and the principles that lie beneath them. If you live your life for me, it will be the last 35 years of your life that will be remembered." I was a man without a purpose, but now my purpose is defined; which is to help people out of religion and into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Nichol Cotton - Harding I didn't understand God's LOVE until I leaned in and read the living word for myself. This is when I discovered so much I missed because of "religion". I understood then, that my purpose was to reintroduce people to Our God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit in a different way. This relationship changed my life and undoubtedly will change yours.

In his autobiographical book, David considers his experiences in the light of his faith. He invites readers to respond with joy in trials for the Glory of God. Designed to be used alongside the book The Story of the Bible-God's Message to the World, this Study Guide explores the topic discussed in each of the book's chapters in more depth. The questions for each lesson follow the flow of the story, each question leading to a discovery of the answers in the original source, the Bible. The book presents a panoramic view of God's interaction with humanity through the storyline of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. In straight-forward and simple language, it traces God's plan of redemption running like a scarlet thread through the events it recounts. This Study Guide can be used both for individual study and for small group classes. It particularly encourages the student to notice details in the text of the Bible, bringing its message to life. By comparing related passages in the Old and New Testaments it also brings out rich insights that apply to us today. About the Author Beverly Hubbard grew up in a family that loved the Bible. She had heard all the Bible stories by the time she learned to read, and after that she could read them for herself. When her parents went to Brazil as missionaries, she and her siblings were educated in mission boarding schools. Later, after getting a teaching certificate and degree in English in the States, she returned to Brazil to teach in a mission school. She and her husband served there and also in Christian schools in Central Florida. They have four children and ten grandchildren. "Let the things I've been through serve as a lesson you can learn from strictly on faith and the belief in knowing that I love and care for each of you. The only thing I truly wish to gain in return is living the remainder of my life with the confidence of knowing that you take heed to these words and avoid making the same mistakes as I." There are times when mistakes are made, but it is too late to right them before punishment is dealt. As a minor growing up in a Nebraskan ghetto, Billy Ray Billups became heavily influenced by adults who he admired for their "maturity." Charged with auto theft, shoplifting, assault, and other criminal acts, he was kicked out of the state of Nebraska. Fast forward to adulthood, and Billups found himself incarcerated for his crimes. It was during his thirteen years of incarceration when he began to realize that everything that had happened in his past was a result of making poor decisions. Options had been presented to him to make good choices, yet he had tried to live up to others' expectations rather than his own. He finally received his wake-up call to live a more positive life. Now, the time has come for him to share his story to encourage younger generations to better understand the value in their ability to make good and rational decisions.
