A Baby Turtles Journey to the Sea JOURNEY = a trek, expedition, a travel or passage from one place to another, a trip that spans over time Each year around the month of May, thousands of turtles make nests to lay eggs on the beaches. Around August the babies are ready to emerge from their sand covered nests and make their journey to the sea. The baby turtle will face adversities during its journey that will strengthen or potentially devour the baby turtle, depending on the choices in the journey the baby turtle makes: - wind and weather - waves and riptides - crabs eat baby turtles, - sea gulls, - foxes, - coyotes, and - people are predators that could keep them from their intended path. The baby turtles will have gained strength from the experience of their initial journey. They have an innate inner voice offering direction to know their way. If the baby turtle is led off course by following other misguided baby turtles it becomes vulnerable and risks danger to their survival. The path to the sea is intended to provide strength and awareness needed for the journey and opportunities ahead in their life, and the baby turtle's choices matter to their outcomes. In our journey, we too face adversity and distractions that draw us off course. With training and a committed focus to getting to know God as a faithful friend, we will hear and recognize God's voice, and be able to follow Him. Our choices will either strengthen us or draw us off course and cause us to miss God's intended blessings and abundant life. This book offers the opportunity to get to know God as our friend and learn to hear His voice as our relationship with Jehovah deepens. Many saints have made mistakes and God has still used them in powerful ways: Adversity always precedes opportunity, so persevere and finish well! ROMANS 5:3-4; 12:12 3Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. [NIV] JAMES 1:4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. [NIV] PHILIPPIANS 1:9-11 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ-to the glory and praise of God. PHILIPPIANS 3:10a I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection... JOHN 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me

Rick Gleason is well-versed in the Bible, what it preaches, and what it teaches concerning giving. But after several years of giving well above what he had been taught, with none of the associated promises ever happening, Gleason had to cease his tithing just to pay the bills and take care of his family. The devourer of his income had been double-digit inflation. After spending time searching the scriptures, his cumulative experience and research led to this book. On Giving: The Tithe Then ... and Now by Gleason is unusual in that it focuses only on the Bible. In passing, Gleason discusses recent popular teachings and shows through the Bible why these teachings, particularly by preachers, cannot be trusted. The primary emphasis is on what the Bible teaches concerning giving. Gleason begins by illuminating what was required of God's people prior to the times of the New Testament, then he emphasizes what has been written to the churches. Gleason has known many people who have given according to what is taught with no results. "Results," meaning those givers having the associated promises in their hands. Yet they still give, hoping that God will eventually take note. But giving is a matter of the heart, and it is not to be done grudgingly. We must first learn to hear God's voice when He tells us to give. This book is for these givers, hoping that they will indeed see the promises of God show up in abundance. Rick Gleason is well-versed in the Bible, what it preaches, and what it teaches concerning giving. But after several years of giving well above what he had been taught, with none of the associated promises ever happening, Gleason had to cease his tithing just to pay the bills and take care of his family. Dr. Richard Hagenbaugh has spent six decades committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and endeavoring to build up individuals and congregations to walk with Jesus. He received an MDiv from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, 1975 and a DMin from Western in 1987. His fifty years of pastoral ministry include thirty years in one church and interim pastoring at three more after retirement. His greatest joy is the exposition of God's Word while loving, ministering to, and encouraging people to know Jesus and the abundant life He offers. Pastor Rich has unswervingly served his Savior through personal encounters with the joys, sorrows, tragedies, disappointments, successes, and triumphs of others. He and His wife Carolyn, of fifty-nine years, live in Washington State. God blessed them with two children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandbaby. Can the Sermon on the Mount solve challenges? Richard Hagenbaugh's conclusion after fifty years of ministry, amid all the prayers, concerns, and tears, is that Matthew 5-7 does exactly that. Embracing this message from the heart of Jesus allows one to understand the most comprehensive statement of Christian living ever found in one place. It contains the principles, theology, and doctrine to enable anyone to deal with any circumstance if they live by its truth. Someone has said, "If the Sermon on the Mount were all the Scripture we possessed, we would have enough to please the God of the universe." This book aims to bring life-changing principles to manifest themselves in New Testament believers. In a world and culture moving further away from God, Christians must raise the bar of their faith to survive and honor their Lord. This book helps them do precisely that.

Libro 1 Lecciones y Libro 2 Actividades

Ernest L. Brown currently serves as a deacon in his local church, and is the author of the book, "Words From the Heart." He is the husband of Apostle Joyce Myrick Brown, who authored "The Mantel of Ministry, Embracing the Call." He strongly urges everyone to give themselves a chance, overcome their obstacles in life, and to wake up each morning ready to face the experiences of a new day. Having a pet companion in his opinion, can be vital in moving forward to seeing and becoming your best you another day.

In a world where everyone seems to crave the anesthetizing security of being identified with the majority, a divine dream is a crucial key for extraordinary distinction. Greatness is discovered when a man reaches down to the inner depths of his spirit being and brings out his endowments to tangible expressions. DARE YOUR DREAM by Ashu Carole was written to enkindle the imagination of mankind and fire the alacrity of a rugged zeal for greatness in the spirit of the most abysmal undistinguished. Orock daringly proclaims that a dream is free but not cheap; it has to be purchased with unmerited suffering and positive attitudes. She charges us to awake from the stupor of inaction and lift ourselves from colossal mental obscurity, pointing out that for future generation to drink from our footprints, our dreams must depend on Jesus for fruition, else it will remain in tatters. The pulchritudinous genius, is the spiritual salt sent to savor and preserves the most inferior lives and usher them into the glaring highway of supernatural accomplishments. A martyred heroine born to champion crusades for destiny transformation. She has found her destiny in stirring giftings, wiping tears, and bringing light of hope to those incarcerated in a mental and spiritual gloom. Evangelist Carole is a born poet and novelist who has written a plethora of inspirational books but her best poetry book ''Eyes of Hope'' and ''Dare Your Dream'' are her only published books. Orock holds a Bachelor's degree in law (LLB), from the University of Buea Cameroon and is currently enrolled at World Mission International Bible college Maryland and Harvard Extension school. The veteran of creative suffering also dreams of reaching out to the world's most miserable destitute.

Is your life stuck in "ordinary?" Are you walking through the motions of oatmeal living without purpose? Do you fear living life out of your comfort zone? God has bigger plans for you, and yearns that you board His agenda. He longs to take the "ordinary" events of life and create an "extraordinary" journey for you. Do you long for real inner joy and purpose? Our world and culture only offer these fulfilling moments sparingly when appreciated through "positive experiences." They are superficial and momentary. Why? Because exterior happiness is reliant upon our circumstance being good. God arranges 'Divine Opportunities" prompting us to enter in at His bidding. Putting our "shoe and heart souls" into loving others requires we exit our comfort zone. Your life will be magnetically touched by these stories so that you will want to live as an expression of God's love in "everyday ways" to others. Dianne has lived life as an adventure - though not the high energy, adrenaline-pumping kind, but one of gentleness, kindness, and discovery, based on her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her complete surrender to God enables her to tell others of His care, love, forgiveness, faithfulness, and moment-by-moment presence, which has carried her when she could have fallen apart, but was instead given a joy she cannot describe. While Dianne has spoken at women's groups, retreats, or as a conference speaker, she has found that weakness is her greatest strength, and finds oxygen and joy in eating, laughing, and talking about the Lord. During these years, Dianne has discovered her passion: Living out her expression of God in the ordinary events of life, by seizing every opportunity to let people know how special they are to Him, and releasing them to be similar expressions by His grace.

This story centers around two teens and their families at the time Rome ruled the world--and the conflict of Jesus' ministry, His followers, and Roman law. An "old" story, the approach is unique in that the story unfolds in the lives of the boys and the many other characters, including what Jesus' homelife may have been like. The objective is to reach as many young people as possible to turn to Christ Jesus. Alvin Dunn is a retired U. S. Air Force veteran, having served as an Information Superintendent in Europe, the Far East and the United States. As such, he edited and wrote for base newspapers; prepared unit histories and oversaw much of the communities' internal information programs. A devoted Christian, he has taught the scriptures wherever he lived for more than 65 years and is deeply concerned over the lack of youth and young married's participation in their Churches. He is widowed after 61 years of marriage, and has three adult children and several "grands" and "greats" of whom he is very proud.

When we observe our lives and daily activities, there is a high possibility that we might be following the wrong direction due to being misled. Our world is full of misleading and deception in different shapes and forms; Jesus Himself warned us about this (Mt.24:4). Many people do not know, but the truth is that this world is ALREADY corrupted (Gen.3:17-19), and we are born into a fallen condition (Rom.5:12). This book, See That No One Misleads You, presents the way we are misled, unveils hundreds of historical examples in the Bible, presents real examples of being misled in our media, and the author's personal testimony about being misled by blindly following a wrong teaching. If we would give heed to this book and apply it in our daily lives, we will be most blessed. "A lie that is half-truth is the darkest of all lies." - Alfred Tennyson. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5) The wounds we receive among the many paths of life - whether they be physical, emotional, or spiritual -have the potential power to lead to a spiritual legacy of faith in Christ, one great enough to transform individuals and families alike, creating beauty and renewal from the ashes of pain and loss. Author Michael Christian Shaw has experienced this powerful and lasting spiritual transformation firsthand. Shaw's entrance into this world was surrounded by profound and intense loss at the tragic death of his four-year-old brother, Brucie, when he died a mere nine days after the author's birth. Having to navigate personal and family grief, the author's faith was also tested many years later with his own child's battle with cancer. Faithful are the Wounds: A Memoir explores both the realities of death, grief, and trauma, as well as the healing and strength that come from knowing a God who loves us and is bigger than life itself, including its sorrows. This haunting and deeply personal story chronicles the author's journey from darkness into light, from fear to faith, from grief to joy, and from death to life. This memoir combines the stark reality of emotional pain, with the gift of humor, and the ability to laugh at ourselves.
