In the mundane routine of everyday living, it is sometimes easy to lose sight of the fingerprints of God on our lives. We can become overwhelmed with our schedule, responsibilities, and burdens and forget that God is orchestrating our every step. Open Our Eyes, Open Our Hearts by Maida Carson is an inspiring devotional that takes readers on a journey of spiritual reflection of God's beauty, joy, love, grace, mercy, and truth. Told from her perspective as a grandmother, the book acts as everyday snapshots of encouragement through God's Word and includes pictures of the little ones in her life and their "refrigerator art". The overwhelming message of the book is that He sees and loves us. We can trust Him to do what is best for us. He shows us His hand at work and reveals His heart as we open our eyes to see Him and our hearts to receive Him each day. Maida is the youngest of fourteen children. Her daddy was a preacher at Pleasant Ridge Church, a small country church where her family made up nearly half the congregation. After attending Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, Maida was blessed to be a counselor at Muskegon Teen Challenge Women's Unit. Maida married the love of her life, Dan Carson, in 1978. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, who have blessed them with six wonderful grandchildren. Dan and Maida live on a small farm in southern Illinois, and are blessed to be part of another small country church, Camp Creek Baptist Church, at Murphysboro, IL. Maida still sees God at work all around her, and her heart overflows with thankfulness to our amazing God!

Divine Wings traces the journey of an American pastor and scion of East Africa's legendary evangelists whose prodigious intellect pitted him against any conservative reading of the Bible. As liberal churches deny the reality of hell and question the veracity of the scriptures, their teachings negate the very core of the Christian faith and became a heresy. In the final pages of this book, we see the contrast between the titanic battle that early American Christian evangelists waged against the forces of darkness in East Africa, and the blatant worldliness of modern American pastors who continue to condone sharp practices in the church of Christ, potentially leading to its ultimate doom. Abraham Oluwafemi Adebo is an ordained Pastor and author. He writes with sublime depth and beauty on issues of faith, redemption and place of the Church in contemporary times. Other books he has authored over the years include: The Church in the 21st Century, Freedom from Bondage, and The Future of Black Theology in Post Apartheid South Africa. He has passion for family, soul winning and counseling. He is currently the Pastor of EMC Family Church, Cedar Hill, TX USA and Project Management Specialist with ADI Global, Irving, TX.

Angelic Protection "Oh my God! And the Lord covered me with a shield". Her body that was flying toward and above me was supposed to land on me according to the law of gravity, but God placed a shield of protection over me-an angel, most likely-and her body hit the invisible shield.

"When a loved one is facing their final chapter of life, one of the greatest expressions of grace and love is who they write that chapter with. In hospice, we describe this as a journey. A journey of facing the reality of death while honoring and celebrating life. A journey of tears and laughter, reflection and remembrance. A journey that can reawaken the heart to the eternal hope for which it was fashioned. Join Doris Anne on this journey as she shares with you from a deeply personal and sacred place of what it meant- and what it will always mean - to have been Berne's best friend and wife." Michael Lacey Chaplain Berne had many angel visits during his last days. He remained alert and kept his sense of humor until he passed. I had hoped to keep him home with me, but as his systems shut down that was no longer possible. Our nurse advised an evaluation at the hospital where they gave him three days to live. Berne was blind now. God gave him visions of priests who filled him with love and took away his pain. He was in pallative care so I was allowed to visit. After thirteen days he was transferred to a Hospice/Vet Home. Covid limited my visits to porch visits where he was separated by glass. If he fell or had a low blood sugar I was allowed into his room. Then I could touch him and he would say, "This is wonderful." I wanted people to know that God is always with you. Doris Anne enjoyed a career in education and art. She received her degree from Goucher and married Roland Charles Jr in 1959. They had four children. She moved to Wayne, Maine, and married Howard Holman, becoming a Reading Supervisor, teaching second grade, and Middle school art. She ran watercolor workshops in Maine, New Hampshire and Bermuda. She joined Vincent Hartgen's Travelling Art Exhibits (UM0) in the 70s. She married Berne A. Babineau in 1994. They resided in Brunswick, Maine, and wintered in Florida. Doris Anne wrote eleven children's books featuring birds and visited schools. She is a member of the Maine Arts Commission. She received the Presenter Award from USF for Suncoast Young Author's Celebration. She enjoyed a Story Walk with Come With Me to the Pond in Gardiner. She won a Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who and has her website with them, Doris Anne Holman.com

In times of crisis, it's always healing to shore up the roots of your faith. This mindset is what guided author Daniel J. A. Smith to share Christ-centered reflections from the heart-reflections on faith, wisdom, and hope during one of the most tumultuous eras of our lifetime. Reflections during COVID-19: Devotions Written during the COVID-19 Pandemic is Smith's insightful collection of inspiring devotionals that will challenge you, uplift you, and encourage you with invaluable lessons learned from the season of life marked by the transformative changes of the year 2020. When Smith had to pause the church group he was leading due to COVID-19, he realized how such a time frequently leads to crises of faith. With this in mind, Smith took the responsibility to help guide his group however he could. Unable to meet in person, he was led to write a devotional based on his group's discussions, sharing life lessons for charting the unexpected obstacles, hardships, and moments of growth in their midst. Now sharing these devotionals with the world, Smith reveals powerful teaching that will inspire you to look at the tough times of life as opportunities for God to open your eyes to the truth of His Word. Discover ways in which you can grow more like Jesus no matter what turn your journey may take-even in a pandemic-as Smith's words leave a lasting impact on your heart, far after the end of COVID-19. As you embrace God's message revealed through these devotions, you will begin to heal and process what this pandemic taught you, with Smith's reflections equipping and strengthening you in your walk with Christ. Daniel J.A. Smith was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and moved to Kansas City, Missouri when he was four. He still calls that city home. He graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a degree in History. He enjoys reading, especially fantasy, and loves listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games. Raised in the church all of his life, he has attended both liberal and conservative churches, making friends across denominational and political lines. As such, he sees the flaws of partisan fighting that hinder the church and ruin Christian fellowship. He hopes this book will be a voice of healing, and a reminder for Christians all over to put aside their petty differences and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone in the world. For only then will we be able to remake this world in God's image, the way it should have been all along.

This book not only contains messages from the Lord, but it is a demonstration of the power of God at work in my life. My name is Shannon Marie Heider. I was born in Oregon, Ohio. I have been with my husband David James Heider for 21 years. We have three beautiful children, Baylon, Faith, and Hope Heider. I enjoy playing basketball and coaching. The Fruit of the Spirit - Why is this topic important for children to learn? If our children and grandchildren can grasp this, it will give them a firm foundation into what it means to be like Christ in today's world. The Fruit of the Spirit helps them understand the character of Christ. This book is written in a manner that children can relate to. It is not a read-along book, but rather an interactive workbook that will keep the attention of the child to the end. Each chapter has three sections. Definition and explanation, Bible verses, and a puzzle. All three sections are written to reinforce that specific character of Christ. They will be given scenarios where they will learn how to live out what they are studying. Why not give your child or grandchild that firm foundation through the Fruit of the Spirit? Joan Ray was born in Bremen, Georgia and currently resides, in Carrollton, Georgia with her husband, Marshall. Joan and Marshall have eight grandchildren and it is because of them this book was written. She wanted them to know and understand the Fruit of the Spirit because they would then have a better understanding of God. Joan grew up in church and much of that time was spent working with children. She has a way of communicating that makes children drawn to her. Joan's passions are speaking at ladies's events and teaching. She and Marshall currently attend Midway Church in Villa Rica where they lead a couples Life Group and Joan also leads a Ladies Life Group. In her spare time, Joan enjoys playing golf with Marshall, crafting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Joan's prayer is that this book will bring your child to God.

Mankind's sole purpose for this present life on Earth is to prepare for eternity in either Heaven or Hell. Many want to be part of those chosen to join God in the life to come, but God only chooses those who love Him and believe His promises. To be a member of the Bride of Christ requires one to comply with God's requirements for salvation, but false doctrine threatens many who have not studied the truth found in God's Word In this detailed analysis of the New Testament, G. C. Gilley's Salvation God's Way offers a discourse aimed at identifying God's true design for salvation as opposed to the reformed doctrine of election that many Christian pastors and teachers have upheld as such. Gilley describes the "Sower Model," based primarily on Christ's explanation of the Parable of the Sower, as opposed to the reformed doctrine of election model, referred to as the "TULI" model, which relies mainly on human reasoning and not the Word of God, resulting in numerous contradictions throughout the New Testament. This thoughtful commentary by Gilley thoroughly works to provide answers to the unfounded dilemma between God's sovereignty and man's responsibility in salvation, describe the authentic, biblical version of God's design for salvation, identify the chosen "elect," as mentioned in God's Word, discuss man's free will, insightfully evaluate the reformed doctrine of election in light of Scripture, and offer authoritative commentary on Chapter 9 of the book of Romans. Dr. G.C. Gilley has been continuously active in Christian ministry through his church for the past 68 years. He has taught Bible classes extensively in both the New and Old Testaments. He has led and currently leads a small group Bible study in his home. Also, He has more than 20 years of experience as director of Junior High and College Departments at his church. Dr. Gilley is a retired aerospace engineer. During his 46-year career he held senior positions in numerous projects. Dr. Gilley was the first person to design a fully self-healing spacecraft for a mission to the outer planets. He developed the fault-tolerance requirements for the Air Force Strategic Defense Initiative programs and monitored compliance to these requirements.

My book is a collection of memories of an eighty-four old woman who grew up in the 1940s and the 1950s. My family were farmers. My memories are working hard on the farm, warm summer evenings playing with my brothers in the twilight hours, Christmas on the farm with Grandma, Christmas programs at our one room country school. There are some sadness in my childhood but I chose to keep my book focused on happy times and to show the difference between the time I grew up and the way children grow up today. My poems are about family, friends, holidays, spiritual and some that are just silly little verses. Hope you will enjoy the life of this country girl who went to a one room country school with only thirty students and went on to a big city high school with over eight hundred students. I was scared when I entered the big school but I learned how to get to the rooms I needed. I hope you enjoy my book. Thank you. I am 84 years old. I was raised on a farm. I was saved when I was a young teen. I wrote as a teenager. I married a good Christian Man and raised a family. I became a widow in 2005. I decided to get my work published.

As a culture, we are barraged and immersed with images and thoughts of our collective end, and the end of all time. We tend to have a human fascination with the big question of "How's it all going to end?" Nearly every day, it is common to see, read, or hear something in the news or on a social media platform about the "end of the world," the "Apocalypse," or "End Times." It seems that everyone has a specific theory or opinion of how these days will unfold. Yet, when we consider the prophecy regarding what the Bible refers to eighty-eight times as "The Day of the Lord," (a.k.a. Armageddon), we need to remember to get all our answers from the only authoritative source, The Holy Bible. We also need to remember the importance of what "The Day of the Lord" signifies: The second coming of Jesus Christ. Author and pastor Kenneth A. Behr's The Apocalypse and Coming Kingdom zeroes in on and breaks down biblical prophecy as it relates to Jesus's upcoming return, and the coming seven-year period, including the Great Tribulation. Having taught biblical prophecy for nearly thirty years, Behr's close study and expertise highlight a method and style that offer clear communication and inspiration. The return of Jesus is the greatest promise yet to be fulfilled in the Bible. This book uncovers what many have only understood to be hidden mysteries of end-time biblical prophecies. It is a definitive and prophetic look at the coming kingdom of Christ, and the fate of all humanity. Dr. Kenneth A. Behr is the founder and president of Faith Dialogue Inc. He is an educator, theologian, pastor, and best-selling author. He is the senior pastor of Celebrate Seniors, a church that embraces the older generation, restores dignity, and ministers as well to the families of these senior adults. Ken and his wife Carol have been married for over 40 years and have two children and five grandchildren. He has spent the last twenty years in ministry and was ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance after a career in business.

EVERYONE HAS SOME "BROAD PLACE" of FREEDOM THEY YEARN TO ESCAPE TO, if only in daydreams. The author tells how Cape Cod was such a place for him growing up in the 1950s, when not every bay was lined with mansions and the woods and marshes still had a touch of wildness to them. What the author was escaping is only hinted at first, but crescendos to a near-madness of intellectual hubris. His salvation story is laced with observations on architecture and landscape, struggles between Tradition and Modernity, and many sharp "edges" of "progress" his life has spanned. You'll meet his Uncle Frank, a gifted designer of custom automobile bodies struggling for his art in an increasingly mass-production age. He engages with another uncle, a Christian Scientist, over biblical truth. Another chapter honors the author's late friend, Rev. Paul Anderson, who turned down a fashionable call, to preach in less glamorous Fall River-the "least Bible-minded" city in America-and the high price he paid for faithfulness. Besides evocations of Cape Cod and Boston, anyone who likes Melville's Moby-Dick (a fitting touchstone for the author's observations) and the novels of Charles Dickens will find things to enjoy along the way. Emil Heller Henning III was born and raised between Boston, Mass. and Baltimore, Md. He earned a master's degree in architecture, served three years in the Army Corps of Engineers, and has worked for architects in the Carolinas, starting his own practice in 2002. He became a Christian in 1977 (as told herein) and is an elder at his church. He wrote a book about Ezekiel's Temple Vision (Xulon Press, 2013) and has a second book on it in preparation (2023).
