The state motto "North to the Future", Alaska is to move into the future and into the new Era. This book contains 31 days of separate prophetic words spoken over Alaska. There have been many words spoken over this state in the last 31 years. After much consideration, meditation, prayer and direction from the Lord, I was led to use 31 of those words in this book. There is a prayer for each word, to motivate us all and challenge us to pray boldly and consistently over the prophetic words. That we don't put them on the shelf, yet engage in calling them in. As we embark on this journey to add to the prayers of the saints, may God open our hearts so that prayer becomes an essential part of all our lives.
"A great beginning is sometimes at the point of what you thought would be the end of everything." - Dodinsky "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." - Psalm 37:4 Vashti Ataya, author of "MEMORIES, Chronicles of a Grateful Life," is delighted to present her Autobiographical Fiction series, "OVERCOMING, The Story of Verna Louise Williams." Books One through Four introduced Verna and her two young daughters, Veronica and Susanna. Those books followed Verna's journey from fleeing an abusive marriage in Tucson to settling in Orlando, enduring rigors of Welfare, an inexplicable, high-risk pregnancy, nursing school, success of becoming an OR Nurse, a heartbreaking loss of her girls via deceit, the nightmare of catatonia, and her second dismal marriage. Book Five, the final book of the series, joins Verna as she and her new husband arrive in Seattle. It is in Seattle where Verna begins to really bloom and "the desires of her heart" are fulfilled. Triumphantly, Verna overcomes trials and tribulations through her deep Christian faith. Hers is a story of marvels, miracles, and dreams achieved. Her story is compelling and powerful. Her story is one of victory. Her story is a human one, not yet completed. You have so much to be thankful for. Life has been freely given to you. In God's eyes, nothing on earth is more important than you, nothing. It's what He thinks and says that make something so; not, when in contradiction, what people think and say. You are the total sum of one word: "Precious".
Let me dedicate this to everyone that is or was (Delayed but not denied). In everything God has a reason for all things we may feel like we were denied but the love of Jesus Christ is the Greatest love of all. He except and loves all of us unconditionally. So always remember; He's standing at your door waiting on you to open the door to him and let him in to love you. The wait is over.

As she sat in her plane seat, Susan Wilcox prepared for the adventure of her life: being a Baptist missionary in Spanish Harlem, New York City for the next two years. What occurred in those two years were events that not only changed the way she viewed herself and those around her, but what she understood of where God called her to be. Susan is actually the character name of Judith Tillman, who wrote this book, They Called Her Sister, from the extensive notes she took as part of her monthly reports as a missionary in New York. For as long as Susan knew, she felt in her spirit that God had called her to serve and share His love with the people of New York City, primarily those in poor, disadvantaged communities. After weeks of waiting to hear of an assignment, she was finally contacted to serve at Capilla Bautista de Harlem in New York. Growing up in a small, rural town in Colorado, Susan had already had her share of difficulties even before encountering those in New York. Her father was an alcoholic war veteran who didn't know how to uphold his responsibilities to his family until he came to know Jesus personally. The family struggled until God intervened in their lives, leading Susan to also give her heart to Jesus and feel in her spirit God's prompting her to New York. Fast forward to her two years, she experienced much within the city that never sleeps: seeing the slimy caverns of the subway, being assaulted, sharing God's love with drug addicts, and doing everything from serving food to teaching young children to read. The stories in They Called Her Sister reflect an awareness of how God can speak into a person's life, especially one seeking God's will, and bring them into some life-changing experiences.
My life was not one ofglorious wonderment every day. There were memories that I remember as great ones and memories that I would like to forget. Fortunately, they are etched in my mind as a reminder of the goodness of God and where He has brought me from. Some of you may judge me for the mistakes I have made along the way. The great thing about mistakes is that they can be corrected and learned from. You see, I am the only one who can tell my story. It was God alone that came to my rescue. There were many inner struggles that caused me to doubt why I existed. After all, what was so special about me that I could ever be loved? God was there when I experienced pain in the worst way, and it was my heart that was open to receive the best love ever given to me. That LOVE...Jesus Christ. Life is about living and realizing that every breath counts and should not be taken for granted. I find comfort in knowing that I am forgiven, and I also have forgiven. When it was all said and done...I chose life. April Young resides in Virginia with her husband Micheal. A Proper foundation is an indispensable part of any structure, when believers dig deep and prepare sound on the rock, the building will withstand any storm. Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. Luke 6:47-48 The first part of any walk of faith is to dig deep! strong foundations will stand for eternity in God's kingdom. Foundations are platforms for personal Christian growth that allow the Lord to use a person for kingdom purposes. Some believers have substructures that are weak. It is necessary to dig up the cracked foundations to get to bedrock before building. A strong foundation is a preparation to receive growth.

The Book of Ruth tells a wonderful story of God's provision for His people. In it, we see His provision for Ruth and Naomi. But as this new commentary by my friend Paula Oneal will reveal, behind the details of this story lies an even bigger story. For in His provision for Ruth, God was providing a king for Israel (David), and even more importantly, a Savior for His Church (Jesus Christ). Once again, Paula has done believers a great service in giving us a useful tool for understanding this marvelous story of God's grace.--Rev. Mike Moreau, Pastor, Central Presbyterian Church (PCA), Kingstree, SC.Again, Dr. Oneal gives us an outstanding source of information to continue our study of the Bible. This commentary is an excellent resource for those who want to grow in their understanding of the Book of Ruth. I highly recommend this book by Paula Oneal.--The Rev. Bert Daly, Rector, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Starke, FloridaDr. Paula Oneal unpacks the book of Ruth skillfully, helping the reader see God's sovereign hand in the midst of adversity and bad choices. "This is how the judgment works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light because their deeds are evil" (John 3:19, GNT). Humans are groaning, lost with little hope of survival. Innocent souls are crying out for impartial minds to come into the mission field and speak through the darkness about drugs, anger, selfishness, jealousy, and the like. When we look around and see our leaders taking part in all manner of sin, we can become discouraged because we know they are building temples for the ungodly. We have it on good authority that some leaders (overseers, elders, politicians) are not above reproach. They are violent, quarrelsome, and lovers of money. Come, join the army that is rising to fight the darkness. Join us, and "no weapon forged against you will prevail" (Is. 54:17, NIV). We must use the freedom in Christ to leave the darkness and embrace the Way and the Truth. "Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children" (Eph. 5:1, NLT). "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you" (Eph. 4:32, NASB).
