We are all unique and special. God created us before we were born, fearfully and wonderfully made, with a customized personality, individual gifts and talents, and physical characteristics that are uniquely ours. No one person is better than another. We are what we are. Rather than try to compare ourselves with someone else, God wants us to discover and accept who we are and who we were created to be. By doing so, we are better able to love ourselves and others, fulfill the purpose for which we were created, and let our light so shine for all the world to see.
We all have a story that tells where God met us in the place where we were. "Windows to The Soul" is Marty Norman''s story, written in prose over a thirty-year period. The poetry reflects everyone''s journey of pain, brokenness, conviction of sin, death, rebirth, and redemption. A book of hope, joy, love, and peace, it offers a unique perspective into God''s grace and mercy through forgiveness and reconciliation.
In The Greatest Kingdom on Earth, author Roger Fluty invites you to join John as he slowly discovers that God has a plan for his life, one that he could have never imagined.Have you ever wondered what great things God may have planned for your life before you go on to meet Him? Have you ever asked yourself if David really knew he would be one of the greatest kings that Israel has ever had when he stepped on that battlefield and faced Goliath? What about when Paul was standing in the crowd as they stoned Steven to death. Do you ever wonder if Paul realized that he would be preaching the same message as Steven, which got him stoned to death? John is like any ordinary man whom you go to church with, or have met on the job, or even see in the local grocery market. Please join John on an adventure in life that could happen to anyone who seeks to please God and gets to a point in his or her life that only the Lord can turn around. When all hope seems to be lost, God will always provide an escape route. Experience what God can do in your life when you turn it all over to Him.

This little book of short stories is a collection from my life. Beginning with family stories, shared during visits with grandparents, parents and friends from theater days then evolving into more recent tales. Each one is like a snapshot taken from one of my photo albums, which shares a small segment of a bigger story. These were all the ones that caught my attention. I hope you will enjoy reading them.
Mustard Seeds, Modern Parables is a five year collection of short stories. Each story is inspired by the day to day life of an ordinary woman. Melissa covers everything from collapsed sinks to trying to handle a four pound Chihuahua bent on destroying the pet groomers. Her stories, often humorous and always thought provoking, endeavor to show God in the details and point to Christ and how best we can serve Him with our allotted talents and abilities. It is the hope of the writer that these stories nurture a closer walk with Jesus and grow a resilient faith in a turbulent world.
