Highlights include ""Mississippi River,"" a lyrical musical reflection on North America's longest river; ""Birmingham,"" composed in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; ""88 Keys,"" which uses each of the piano's 88 keys exactly once; ""Christine's Lullaby,"" an elegy written in memory of the youngest victim of the September 11 terrorist attacks; and ""Snowflake Song"" and ""Wisdom,"" both adapted from the composer's choral work ""Two December Carols.""
