A story of three families, one in Texas, one in Louisiana, and one in Florida, all connected to each other as they deal with a category five hurricane of Katrina proportions that leaves the entire Gulf region as a disaster zone. To compound the problem with millions of Americans forced into refugee centers in the middle of a surge in the Covid pandemic risks making one disaster an even greater catastrophe. To add to the tension all of the intergenerational conflict between different family members over politics, religion and personal values will all come to a head as they are stuck together trying to survive this horrible disaster.
