That cure is the gospel of Jesus Christ. This book illustrates how eternally important and exciting preaching the gospel is. In this book the young preacher continues his education at Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois, while ministering to the First Christian Church of Moweaqua, Illinois.
These stories are all true. You will be entertained, possibly laugh, maybe cry, and maybe sometimes need a tissue. You will see him ministering in the Bible belt to a congregation of about 800 in a small village of 1,500 people. You will go to class with him and see why seminary education is so valuable in ministerial training. You will travel across the Midwest and foreign countries as God uses him to teach and preach, even while in seminary. Some names have been changed to protect people''s privacy, and events are told as best he recalls them from so long ago.
