Om African Sunsets

The story is based upon a young couple who meet in Scotland while both are in college. He is Malcolm and she is Liz. Malcolm has a dream to complete his Brewing studies in Edinburgh at the famous Heriot Watt University then immediately emigrate to Kenya in East Africa. A Colony ruled by the Crown under his Majesty King George V. An enchanting relationship is forged between them while both were working during Summer retreat at a very prestigious golf resort in the middle of Scotland. They grow very close and eventually a love-struck Liz decides to join her newfound acquaintance on his adventure to Africa. The story takes them through their passage to the new homeland they have chosen and as the saga takes on new horizons, the couple face unbelievable challenges in their new life and times in the harsh but beautiful environment of Kenya.They make many new friends and have some unique experiences with them along their path to success. Along the way, the wildlife population make occasional visits and the indigenous tribal natives also play a significant part in their survival. They learn the harsh reality of this environment is not to be taken for granted at any time and yet still find time for fun and escape, to enjoy some of life's more enriching moments.The book is based upon many experiences from the author's past and his family's rich heritage in Kenya plays a backdrop to draw from in creating this hugely exciting story.There is never a dull moment in this book from the opening chapter to its conclusion in the final one, leaving doors open for more to follow maybe!
