Kim has found an ancient starship on the world of Nexis and, against all odds, has made it into space. But if she thought that was hard, all she has to do now is find some more crew, deal with the US Airforce and end a 50,000-year old war against an enemy she doesn't understand. And she has to do all of that, just so she can fight the battle that really matters.
But with the multeese not giving her a chance to think, Kim doesn't know if all the ships in the galaxy will help.
