An Immortal Midlife

When a magical being appears in my kitchen and tells me I'm an immortal queen, my life changes forever... My forties brought a whole bunch of surprises, including a pregnancy that I never thought was possible. But if I imagined the world was just going to throw me that one curveball, I forgot that the fates have a sense of humor. So do I just get to eat ice cream and try to figure out how I'm going to run after a baby AND not lose my mind? Nope, apparently, I need to save the world. Evil beings are threatening to overrun the world, and the only way to save mankind is to close a gate between realms. A gate I have to die to close. But dying when you're immortal and pregnant comes with a whole host of other problems. Can I save my unborn child, the world, and myself? Or will my forties be more fatal than I ever imagined?
