For sixteen-year-old Virtue, navigating 11th grade is hard enough. Throw in the mass carnage of the Purple War, the brain-mangling Lemming Plague, and the overnight, post-apocalyptic breakdown of civilization, and suddenly, arguing with her parents, being picked on by bullies, and tyrannized by her teachers doesn't seem quite so devastating.
Now, trapped on the campus of her elite, co-ed boarding school, Virtue's new priorities are saving her best friend (and potential boyfriend?), fending off Virulents, dodging Clique Baiters and Serial Daters, and rescuing Beynac-her Golden Retriever service dog. Oh, and surviving.
It took sixteen years of torment and insecurity to make Virtue a wallflower. It took a single day of classes (and an academy full of brainwashed, dog-stealing, finger-eating killers) to turn her into the school's most feared and deadly badass.
