The themes deal with relationships, breakups, pleasures, cravings, and pastimes. The artwork is primarily watercolors and pastels that have been shown in many galleries around the world. The short stories that accompany the paintings are sometimes emotional and sometimes quite fun. The combination is a feast for the eye and a tickle for the brain. John Nieman has been in creative arena since his early twenties. For decades, he was the world-wide creative director of several global ad agencies. In this capacity, he created many of the world's most admired campaigns -Hallmark, Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch. At a midpoint in his career, he decided to devote his full energies to fi ne art and fiction. He has written twenty books, including fi ction, short stories, and children's books. He has also had more than a dozen solo art show - in the US, Canada, Germany, Ireland, the U.K. and several other international locales. Somewhere in between those two extremes, he became a chef, an actor, a stand-up comedian and a father of five.
