Avett

- A Force of Nature: Children for Charity

Om Avett

From the authors of: "The Road to Roseberry", "Rainbow Park" and "Space 2070" --- Mother Earth, being the matriarch of our planet's flora and fauna, is tasked by her deity to address an ever-changing human nature. In an effort to attend to the vast demands of humanity's needs, Mother Earth bestows powers upon Avett; one of her many disciples. In mortal form, Avett is a flawless beauty attending to some of history's greatest adversities by turning the tables on society's greatest failures. --- Beginning with the Age of Enlightenment when science and religion were at odds and social disparity came in many forms, Avett took a stand against the male-dominated theories that women were of a lesser mind and inferior competence. Standing in the presence of two great female sovereigns, Avett's supernatural powers were used to enlighten an influential philosopher by giving a peek into the future. --- Moving on to the plight of Native Americans, Avett sought an end to multi-national land grabs at the expense of its original inhabitants. Unable to force change, Avett's efforts brought about change by way of inducing authoritarian self-reflection. It took considerable time but attempts to eradicate Native rights and culture were addressed. --- Avett saw history being made from the first woman of color to obtain an international pilot's license. Her raw determination overcame the odds against her as an early twentieth century groundbreaker. Her legacy as an aviator was a credit to both her race and to her gender. --- Avett's other tasks include global suffering caused by an economic depression, the internment of legal citizens during a war, a nun's sacrifice of fame and fortune to answer a higher calling and the road to election of the first female President of the United States. These stories blend the fabled powers of Mother Earth with human nature's mortal frailties and together, they create Avett; a force of nature.
