Beach Retreat Murder

For detective Matthew Fox and his team, this was their chance to catch a vicious serial killer. Sadly, the killer turned the tables and Matt's junior detective and girlfriend, Abby, was killed in the process. Ultimately, the blame for what the higher-ups viewed as a debacle, falls on Matt and he's fired from the department. Unemployed and mourning Abby's death, he receives a mysterious invitation for the chief's position, in a sleepy seaside town in North Carolina. With few other options, he accepts the position, making the journey to the coast. But this is no ordinary town. As Matt soon discovers, his destiny is being orchestrated, and he may get the chance to repeat time and right a terrible wrong.
