Ben of the Island

This third book of stories about a dog living on Prince Edward Island, Canada is told from the perspective of the dog. He rescues a child lost at sea in a storm and later has the experience of seeing a steam train for the first time. Rescuing a small puppy also hints as to his eventual replacement.
