Betrayal

Om Betrayal

BETRAYAL' is a gripping murder mystery novel set in rural Ireland in the 1960s. A dark psychological thriller that explores the brittle nature of relationships and the betrayal of trust. A young girl is murdered on her way home from school and, due to a compromised crime scene there is a danger that it will become yet another unsolved murder. There are no suspects and no obvious motivation. Kinsale, in the late 60s seems to be a safe and secure place to live. But, as Inspector Morecamb from the Serious Crime Division in Cork delves deeper into the lives of the locals, the fractures which characterise many communities begin to emerge. Petty jealousies, revenge, gossip and broken dreams provide the backdrop of many rural landscapes. Kinsale is no different.
