Om Bharatha Prajalamagu Memu?
In terms of Articles 53,73, 74,75, 154, 155, 156, 163 and 164, President should rule Indian Union with help of Governors in the states. Ministers are only helpers and advisors appointed and removed by President and Governors at pleasure. In terms of Article 1, India is union of states and hence unitary, not federal. President is the only elected authority in India. "Republic" means a country ruled by a President. Multiparty system, Regional party system, political alliances are illegal. Election manifestos which offer specified benefits to specified people are "Considerations" and hence illegal. Executive Power of the President extends to whole territory of India in terms of Article 53 and 73. Hence, state ministers have no right to alienate lands in the states. Mid-term elections are unconstitutional. Terms of Lok Sabha and state assemblies are five years in terms of Article 83 and 172. They can never be dissolved mid-term under the constitution, much less, on the advice of the Prime Minister or Chief Ministers who are after all political rivals to opposition members. Cancelling the memberships of hundreds of elected opposition members, mid-term, en masse, without their fault, is a sin against democracy and an atrocity against constitution.
