It has been ten years since Savannah Bowen''s father offered her hand in marriage to Jonah Bell for one hundred acres of land.
Times are hard in 1842 in the Arkansas valley where Savannah and Jonah live, but they are now deeply in love after a decade of marriage, and find life a blessing.
