Building a Culture of Heart

The greatest aspiration of all human beings throughout history has been to realize the dream of a world in peace. When the new century and millennium arrived, a climate of euphoria and collective hope was created on a planetary scale. Finally, the longed for peace could be established in the world in a stable and lasting way. However, the cruel reality of new wars and conflicts soon ruined this hope.Many thought that, after the end of the cold war, there would no longer be the danger of more world wars or confrontations. But, as Huntington rightly predicted, the danger of new wars in the future may come from clashes between the great civilizations and religions of the world.Before achieving world peace, it is necessary to overcome the four great challenges that humanity faces: hunger and poverty in the world; the moral degeneration of public and private life; the degradation of democratic systems; and the danger of new wars between civilizations.In this third book of our trilogy we will present the solutions offered by Sun Myung Moon to overcome these great challenges for world peace and build a culture of the heart. These solutions are based on three principles: interdependence, mutual prosperity and shared universal values, referring to economics, politics and ethics respectively.
