Coleman, D: Adultery, Porn and Nudity

Om Coleman, D: Adultery, Porn and Nudity

Just as everyone is a heretic to you if they do not believe exactly as you do, and as every religion (even the Bahá¿í faith) makes claims which exclude it from all other religions, and as one person's trash may be another person's treasure, so each person may have their own preferred definition for Adultery, Porn and Nudity as well as their own reasons for why they participate in them and to what extent, if at all. However, when it comes to nudity, perhaps most may agree it is at least OK in privacy with their chosen life partner - if there is mutual consent. Every religion which claims to believe the Bible may have a slightly different definition for these topics. Imagine the shock/surprise, for example, of a non-Mormon who spoke with a young Mormon married couple playing Pickleball without their special underwear at a clothing-optional naturist resort! Imagine the hypocrisy of any anti-polygamy religion which insists only one wife is legitimate and all other relationships are adulterous, yet several scriptures make it very clear that if a man leaves his wife to marry a different woman, he has committed adultery and has caused anyone who marries his former wife to commit adultery. Some of these religions insist it is OK for a divorced/remarried man or woman to hold certain official church positions, but it would never be OK for any polygamist even if all but one of his former wives had died, because polygamy is allegedly a bad model - yet divorce/remarried folks are given a pass? It is simply semantics, whether you are a serial/consecutive polygamist or a simultaneous/concurrent polygamist. Adultery is no longer a crime in most countries but polygamy still is? Not if you don't want to be labeled Islamophobic. Polygyny is no longer prosecuted in several Western countries unless there is evidence of underage marriage or abuse of women or children (and perhaps abuse of federal "entitlement" funds). How much longer will you pretend that you never have and never will commit adultery, will never again view porn, or would never be nude in public?
