Om Comparison of Personality Traits and Psychological Well-Being
Today, human generations have been divided into different groups, and in each generation, some issues are seen more and more, because one generation has grown up with the same facilities, familiarity with the norms, beliefs, characteristics, moral and behavioral traits of different generations. It helps to know better about ourselves and how to interact with others. The theory of generations was first proposed in 1923 by Karl Mannheim, a Hungarian philosopher and sociologist, and was later studied and developed by Graeme Codrington. The classification of generations that we will discuss in this article is based on the political, social and economic conditions of people born in different time periods in Europe and America, and the mentioned historical periods do not necessarily correspond to the culture of our own country; But in many ways, people born in the same generations all over the world have the same characteristics (Simonetti and Feereira 2019). The present research was conducted in order to compare personality traits and psychological well-being in generations z, y, x in Iranian society.
