Iyanatul Islam discusses the implications of the crisis from US perspectives and Western institutions. In the second section, N. Ganesan, Ikrar Nusa Bhakti, Gerry Groot and Samina Ahmed examine political and strategic dimensions of the crises and the responses to them.
