Dendereh 1898

A pioneering Egyptologist, Flinders Petrie (1853-1942) excavated over fifty sites and trained many archaeologists. This excavation report, published in 1900, carefully documents and illustrates the findings made at the previously overlooked cemetery at Dendera. The work includes descriptions and drawings of the tombs, along with analysis of the inscriptions.
