Deregulation in the European Union

Presenting evidence from EU member states and Hungary, this work examines the environmental implications of economic deregulation through case studies of the energy, transport and water sectors and deals with options for deregulation in environmental policy, looking at self-regulation, negotiated agreements and environmental management systems.
