Discoveries at Ephesus

In this well-illustrated 1877 publication, English archaeologist John Turtle Wood (1821-90) describes his archaeological findings in the city of Ephesus, with a particular focus on his discovery of the lost Temple of Artemis in 1869. Wood spent four years excavating the remains of the ancient landmark.
