Om Dome
On a background of nations expanding and contracting, Davour, his two friends Jaroche and Trieme, are thrust out of the obscurity of a small northern town due to decisions made on a misunderstood ill-conceived prophecy. They journey down vastly different paths as they grown into men. Davour is cruelly thrown to the mercy of the Dome, the mysterious power that supports Erutan against its enemy nations. Trieme is sold into slavery to a pirate ship as collateral from KofKer dealings and through various adventures joins a Golgorrhian crew and meets Kasreve'na, a beautiful but harsh girl, heir to her father's sea powers. Jaroche experiences the soldier's life thriving in the warlike world of men and developing martial skills preparing him for a larger military theatre. As they travel down their individual paths, each can feel the impending conflict develop between Erutan and Shorlau, the two greatest nations. Sarah Donnelly has always enjoyed literature of all types, especially the fantasy genre. After reading novels of many others, finally decided to experience a book from the other side by writing. She lives in southern Alberta, Canada with her husband and children.
