Carol grew up a gifted and strong child. But when she left to pursue an ambitious university degree in adulthood, she experienced an aggravated sexual assault and other abuse that devastated what she knew about herself and the world. This completely changed her identity and the course of the rest of her life.
Her book is a short memoir of having to overcome the will to give up, again and again, and her journey through to healing and finding a new mode of being that brings joy, motivation, and open-heartedness back to her life. A journey that ultimately led her to experiencing a level of abundance, meaning, and freedom she never could have known otherwise.
